1And the word of the LORD came to Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasa, saying:
1耶和華的話臨到 哈拿尼 的兒子 耶戶 ，責備 巴沙 說：
2'Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over My people Israel; and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made My people Israel to sin, to provoke Me with their sins;
2「我既從塵埃中提拔你，立你作我民 以色列 的君，你竟行 耶羅波安 所行的道，使我民 以色列 陷在罪裏，惹我發怒，
3behold, I will utterly sweep away Baasa and his house; and I will make thy house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
3我必除盡你和你的家，使你的家像 尼八 的兒子 耶羅波安 的家一樣。
4Him that dieth of Baasa in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth of his in the field shall the fowls of the air eat.'
4凡屬 巴沙 的人，死在城中的必被狗吃，死在田野的必被空中的鳥吃。」
5Now the rest of the acts of Baasa, and what he did, and his might, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
5巴沙 其餘的事，凡他所行的和他的勇力，都寫在 以色列 諸王記上。
6And Baasa slept with his fathers, and was buried in Tirzah; and Elah his son reigned in his stead.
6巴沙 與他列祖同睡，葬在 得撒 。他兒子 以拉 接續他作王。
7And moreover by the hand of the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani came the word of the LORD against Baasa, and against his house, both because of all the evil that he did in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam, and because he smote him.
7耶和華的話臨到 哈拿尼 的兒子先知 耶戶 ，責備 巴沙 和他的家，因他行耶和華眼中看為惡的一切事，以他手所做的惹耶和華發怒，像 耶羅波安 的家一樣，又因他殺了 耶羅波安 的全家。
8In the twenty and sixth year of Asa king of Judah began Elah the son of Baasa to reign over Israel in Tirzah, and reigned two years.
8猶大 王 亞撒 二十六年， 巴沙 的兒子 以拉 在 得撒 登基作 以色列 王共二年。
9And his servant Zimri, captain of half his chariots, conspired against him; now he was in Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza, who was over the household in Tirzah;
9有管理他一半戰車的臣子 心利 背叛他。當他在 得撒 家宰 亞雜 家裏喝醉的時候，
10and Zimri went in and smote him, and killed him, in the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned in his stead.
10心利 就進去殺了他，篡了他的位。這是 猶大 王 亞撒 二十七年的事。
11And it came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he smote all the house of Baasa; he left him not a single man-child, neither of his kinsfolks, nor of his friends.
11心利 一坐王位就殺了 巴沙 的全家，連他的親屬、朋友也沒有留下一個男丁。
12Thus did Zimri destroy all the house of Baasa, according to the word of the LORD, which He spoke against Baasa by Jehu the prophet,
12心利 這樣滅絕 巴沙 的全家，正如耶和華藉先知 耶戶 責備 巴沙 的話。
13for all the sins of Baasa, and the sins of Elah his son, which they sinned, and wherewith they made Israel to sin, to provoke the LORD, the God of Israel, with their vanities.
13這是因 巴沙 和他兒子 以拉 的一切罪，就是他們使 以色列 人陷在罪裏的那罪，以虛無 的神 惹耶和華－ 以色列 上帝的怒氣。
14Now the rest of the acts of Elah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
14以拉 其餘的事，凡他所行的，都寫在 以色列 諸王記上。
15In the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah did Zimri reign seven days in Tirzah. Now the people were encamped against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines.
15猶大 王 亞撒 二十七年， 心利 在 得撒 作王七日。那時民正安營圍攻 非利士 的 基比頓 。
16And the people that were encamped heard say: 'Zimri hath conspired, and hath also smitten the king'; wherefore all Israel made Omri, the captain of the host, king over Israel that day in the camp.
16民在營中聽說 心利 背叛，又殺了王，故此 以色列 眾人當日在營中立元帥 暗利 作 以色列 王。
17And Omri went up from Gibbethon, and all Israel with him, and they besieged Tirzah.
17暗利 率領 以色列 眾人，從 基比頓 上去，圍困 得撒 。
18And it came to pass, when Zimri saw that the city was taken, that he went into the castle of the king's house, and burnt the king's house over him with fire, and died;
18心利 見城破失，就進了王宮的衛所，放火焚燒宮殿，自焚而死。
19for his sins which he sinned in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, in walking in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin which he did, to make Israel to sin.
19這是因他犯罪，行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，行 耶羅波安 所行的，犯他使 以色列 人陷在罪裏的那罪。
20Now the rest of the acts of Zimri, and his treason that he wrought, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
20心利 其餘的事和他背叛的情形都寫在 以色列 諸王記上。
21Then were the people of Israel divided into two parts: half of the people followed Tibni the son of Ginath, to make him king; and half followed Omri.
21那時， 以色列 民分為兩半：一半隨從 基納 的兒子 提比尼 ，要立他作王；一半隨從 暗利 。
22But the people that followed Omri prevailed against the people that followed Tibni the son of Ginath; so Tibni died, and Omri reigned.
22但隨從 暗利 的民勝過隨從 基納 的兒子 提比尼 的民。 提比尼 死了， 暗利 就作了王。
23In the thirty and first year of Asa king of Judah began Omri to reign over Israel, and reigned twelve years; six years reigned he in Tirzah.
23猶大 王 亞撒 三十一年， 暗利 登基作 以色列 王共十二年；在 得撒 作王六年。
24And he bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver; and he built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, after the name of Shemer, the owner of the hill, Samaria.
24暗利 用二他連得銀子向 撒瑪 買了 撒馬利亞山 ，在山上造 城 ，就按着山的原主 撒瑪 的名，給所造的城起名叫 撒馬利亞 。
25And Omri did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, and dealt wickedly above all that were before him.
25暗利 行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，比他以前的列王作惡更甚。
26For he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in his sins wherewith he made Israel to sin, to provoke the LORD, the God of Israel, with their vanities.
26因他行了 尼八 的兒子 耶羅波安 所行的，犯他使 以色列 人陷在罪裏的那罪，以虛無 的神 惹耶和華－ 以色列 上帝的怒氣。
27Now the rest of the acts of Omri which he did, and his might that he showed, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
27暗利 其餘的事和他所顯出的勇力都寫在 以色列 諸王記上。
28And Omri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria; and Ahab his son reigned in his stead.
28暗利 與他列祖同睡，葬在 撒馬利亞 。他兒子 亞哈 接續他作王。
29And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel; and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty and two years.
29猶大 王 亞撒 三十八年， 暗利 的兒子 亞哈 登基作了 以色列 王。 暗利 的兒子 亞哈 在 撒馬利亞 作 以色列 王二十二年。
30And Ahab the son of Omri did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him.
30暗利 的兒子 亞哈 行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，比他以前的列王更甚，
31And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.
31犯了 尼八 的兒子 耶羅波安 所犯的罪；他還以為輕，又娶了 西頓 王 謁巴力 的女兒 耶洗別 為妻，去事奉敬拜 巴力 ，
32And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.
32在 撒馬利亞 建造 巴力 的廟，在廟裏為 巴力 築壇。
33And Ahab made the Asherah; and Ahab did yet more to provoke the LORD, the God of Israel, than all the kings of Israel that were before him.
33亞哈 又做 亞舍拉 ，他所行的惹耶和華－ 以色列 上帝的怒氣，比他以前的 以色列 諸王更甚。
34In his days did Hiel the Bethelite build Jericho; with Abiram his first-born he laid the foundation thereof, and with his youngest son Segub he set up the gates thereof; according to the word of the LORD, which He spoke by the hand of Joshua the son of Nun.
34亞哈 在位 的時候，有 伯特利 人 希伊勒 重修 耶利哥 城 ；立根基的時候，喪了長子 亞比蘭 ；安門的時候，喪了幼子 西割 ，正如耶和華藉 嫩 的兒子 約書亞 所說的話。
