1Nangmih khaw tholhdalhnah neh na tholhnah ah aka duek la na om uh.
1You were made alive when you were dead in transgressions and sins,
2Hnukbuet ah khaw ta kumhal kah Diklai khosing neh yilh dongkah saithainah boei banglam ni te dongah te na pongpa uh. Althanah kah a ca rhoek te a khuiah mueihla a tueng pah coeng.
2in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience.
3Hnukbuet ah mamih boeih khaw pumsa hoehhamnah neh amih taengah kho n'sak uh. Pumsa neh kopoek kah kongaih te n'saii uh dongah a tloe rhoek kah a coengnah bangla kosi kah ca rhoek la n'om uh.
3We also all once lived among them in the lusts of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.
4Tedae rhennah neh kuirhang la aka om Pathen tah a lungnah a cungkuem dongah ni mamih n'lungnah.
4But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us,
5Mamih he tholhdalhnah ah duek la aka om rhoek pataeng Khrih neh n'thoh sak tih lungvatnah lamloh khang la na om uh coeng.
5even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—
6Amah neh n'thoh tih Khrih Jesuh rhangneh vaan ah n'ngoltun sak.
6and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
7Te daengah ni Khrih Jesuh lamloh mamih taengah rhennah neh aka thoeng ham a lungvatnah khuehtawn te a baetawt la kumhal ah a tueng eh.
7that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus;
8Lungvatnah neh tangnah lamloh khang la na om uh coeng. Te te namamih kah moenih Pathen kah kutdoe ni.
8for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9Khoboe kah moenih. Te dongah pakhat khaw hoemdam boel saeh.
9not of works, that no one would boast.
10Mamih tah Jesuh Khrih ah a suen a kutngo la n'om uh. Tekah khoboe then te Pathen loh a hmoel pai tih ni a soah m'pongpa pai eh.
10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.
11Te dongah pumsa ah nangmih namtom loh hnukbuet kah te poek uh. Pumdul la a khue rhoek tah pumsa neh kutsai lamloh yahvinrhetnah te ni a thui.
11Therefore remember that once you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “uncircumcision” by that which is called “circumcision” (in the flesh, made by hands),
12Te vaeng tue ah Khrih mueh la na om uh te ta. Israel kah khokung khomah te na hai uh tih olkhueh kah paipi te na kholong tak uh. Ngaiuepnah om pawt bangla Diklai ah na dalrha uh.
12that you were at that time separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
13Tedae nangmih hnukbuet kah Khrih Jesuh ah lakhla la aka om te Khrih thii dong lamloh rhep na om uh coeng.
13But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Christ.
14Amah tah mamih kah rhoepnah la om. Panit pakhat la aka saii amah loh a pumsa dongkah thunkha la aka om vongtung pangbueng te khaw a phil coeng.
14For he is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of separation,
15Oltloek dongkah olpaek kah olkhueng te a hmil coeng. Te daengah ni panit te amah ah hlang thai pakhat la a suen vetih rhoepnah khaw a saii pai eh.
15having abolished in his flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace,
16Te daengah ni thunkha te thinglam lamloh a ngawn vetih panit te Pathen taengah pum pakhat la a moeithen sak eh.
16and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, having killed the hostility through it.
17Ha pawk vaengah lakhla kah nangmih taengah khaw rhoepnah, a yoei rhoek taengah khaw rhoepnah a phong.
17He came and preached peace to you who were far off and to those who were near.
18Amah lamloh pa taengah mueihla thikat neh boktlap la kunnah te n'dang uh.
18For through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.
19Te dongah kholong neh yinlai la na om uh voel tangloeng pawh. Tedae hlangcim rhoek kah pilnam neh Pathen kah imkhuikho la na om uh coeng.
19So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and of the household of God,
20Caeltueih rhoek neh tonghma rhoek kah khoengim te a tlingtlawn thil uh coeng tih Khrih Jesuh amah he imkil la om.
20being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone;
21Amah dongah im pum te kiba tih Boeipa ah bawkim cim la rhoeng.
21in whom the whole building, fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord;
22Nangmih khaw Mueihla ah Khrih amah dongah Pathen kah khosaknah hmuen la n'dun.
22in whom you also are built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.
