Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
1And it came to pass afterwards, that he travelled through the cities and towns, preaching and evangelizing the kingdom of God; and the twelve with him:
1KADEKADEO murin mepukat a kotin kakan jili nan kanim laud o me tikitik kan, padapadak o kaloki ronamau en wein Kot, o ekriamen ian i.
2And certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities; Mary who is called Magdalen, out of whom seven devils were gone forth,
2O pil li akai, me a kotin kakelailada jan nen jued o jomau kan, iet akan: Maria, me pil adanek i men Makdala, me tewil ijimen koiei jan.
3And Joanna the wife of Chusa, Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others who ministered unto him of their substance.
3O Ioana iei likond en Kujaj en Erodej a jaunkoa men, o Jujana, o me toto, me papaki I ar kapwa kan.
4And when a very great multitude was gathered together, and hastened out of the cities unto him, he spoke by a similitude.
4A aramaj totoia lao pokon don i jan nan kanim akan, karoj, ap kotin karajeraj majani:
5The sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
5Jaunkamor kolan kamor a war akan. Ni a kamokamorok akai ap moredi on pon kailan al ap tiatidi o manpir en pan lan nam ir ala.
6And other some fell upon a rock: and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it had no moisture.
6A akai moredi on pon paip. A lao wojada, a monedi, pweki a jota lamelamur.
7And other some fell among thorns, and the thorns growing up with it, choked it.
7Akai moredi nan tuka teketek, a tuka teketek wojada, kajoka ir ala.
8And other some fell upon good ground; and being sprung up, yielded fruit a hundredfold. Saying these things, he cried out: He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
8A akai moredi nan pwel mau, ap wojada o wada pan me epuki. Ni a kotin majanier mepukat, ap majan laudeda: Me jalon a mia, men ron, i en ron!
9And his disciples asked him what this parable might be.
9A japwilim a tounpadak kan ap kalelapok re a: Ia wewe en karajeraj wet?
10To whom he said: To you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to the rest in parables, that seeing they may not see, and hearing may not understand.
10I ari kotin majani: A muei on komail er, en aja me rir en wein Kot, a met akan en aja ni karajeraj akan pwe ren kilan, ap jota kilan, o ron, ap jota weweki.
11Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
11A iet wewe en karajeraj o: Majan en Kot iei war akan.
12And they by the way side are they that hear; then the devil cometh, and taketh the word out of their heart, lest believing they should be saved.
12A me mi pon kailan al o, iei ir, me ronadar, a muri tewil pwarada katia jan majan en Kot nan monion arail, pwe ren der pojon, rap maurela.
13Now they upon the rock, are they who when they hear, receive the word with joy: and these have no roots; for they believe for a while, and in time of temptation, they fall away.
13A me mi pon paip, iei ir, me kin ron majan o ap pereperen ale, a jota kalau re ’rail. Anjau kij re kin pojon, a ni anjaun jonejon, irail kin pupe jan.
14And that which fell among thorns, are they who have heard, and going their way, are choked with the cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and yield no fruit.
14A me moredi nan tuka teketek, iei irail me kin ron, ap koieila tiropeki anan o pai, o inon jued en maur et, rap jokekila, ap jota wa.
15But that on the good ground, are they who in a good and perfect heart, hearing the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit in patience.
15A nan jap mau, iei irail, me kin ron majan o, ap nekinek nan monion ar inen o mau, o wada nin tiak en kanonama.
16Now no man lighting a candle covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it upon a candlestick, that they who come in may see the light.
16Jota me kin ijikeda lamp, ap pwainekidi kopa eu, de ki on pan men wendi a pon deu a, pwe me pan pedelon on en kilan marain o.
17For there is not any thing secret that shall not be made manifest, nor hidden, that shall not be known and come abroad.
17Pwe jota me rir kot, me jo pan janjaleta, pil jota me okiok kot, me jo pan kalok jili.
18Take heed therefore how you hear. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given: and whosoever hath not, that also which he thinketh he hath, shall be taken away from him.
18Komail ari kalaka duen omail kin roneron, pwe me a mia, ekij pan ko on; a me jota a mia, i, me a kiki on, me a, pan katia jan.
19And his mother and brethren came unto him; and they could not come at him for the crowd.
19In a o ri a kan ap ko don i, a re jota kak kaion impa pweki pokon o.
20And it was told him: Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee.
20A ap loki on i: In ar o ri ar akan poto liki. re men udial ir.
21Who answering, said to them: My mother and my brethren are they who hear the word of God, and do it.
21A kotin japen majani on irail: In ai o ri ai mepukat, me kin roneron majan en Kot o apapwali.
22And it came to pass on a certain day that he went into a little ship with his disciples, and he said to them: Let us go over to the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.
22Kadekadeo ni eu ran a kotilan pon apot jop, a japwilim a tounpadak kan ian i. A kotin majani on irail: Kitail en kotela le en: Irail ari tanetan koieila.
23And when they were sailing, he slept; and there came down a storm of wind upon the lake, and they were filled, and were in danger.
23O ni ar tanetan kokowei, a kotin jaimokela; melimel ap koda nan jed. A jop o pwilipwil, a pan mauidi.
24And they came and awaked him, saying: Master, we perish. But he arising, rebuked the wind and the rage of the water; and it ceased, and there was a calm.
24Irail ap kai don i, kaopada i, potoan on: Main, Main, kit pan mela! I ari kipada majani on an o iluk en jed akan, rap tikitikala o molelar.
25And he said to them: Where is your faith? Who being afraid, wondered, saying one to another: Who is this, (think you), that he commandeth both the winds and the sea, and they obey him?
25I ap kotin majani on irail: Ia omail pojon? A irail majakada inda nan pun ar: Daduen, ij men et, pwe a kin majani on an o jed, ir ari duki on.
26And they sailed to the country of the Gerasens, which is over against Galilee.
26Irail ap lele don jap en Kadara, me jal on Kalilaa.
27And when he was come forth to the land, there met him a certain man who had a devil now a very long time, and he wore no clothes, neither did he abide in a house, but in the sepulchres.
27I lao kotidi jan, ol amen tu on i, me kodo jan kanim o, me tan war en tewil jan maj kokodo, o me kilijo, o a jota kin kaujon nan im, pwe a kin mimi nan joujou kan.
28And when he saw Jesus, he fell down before him; and crying out with a loud voice, he said: What have I to do with thee, Jesus, Son of the most high God? I beseech thee, do not torment me.
28I lao kilan Iejuj, ap werida, poridi jan mo a indaki nil laud: Menda re omui nai, Iejuj Japwilim en Kot lapalap? I men poeki re omui, kom der kalok ia la!
29For he commanded the unclean spirit to go out of the man. For many times it seized him, and he was bound with chains, and kept in fetters; and breaking the bonds, he was driven by the devil into the deserts.
29Pwe a kotin majani on nen jaut o, en koiei jan ren aramaj o, pwe pan pak toto a jaikidi i; i ari kin jali kidi jal mata o jal en na kai. A i kamueit ir pajan, o tewil paki i lan jap tan.
30And Jesus asked him, saying: What is thy name? But he said: Legion; because many devils were entered into him.
30Iejuj kotin kainoma re a majani: Ia ad om? A potoan on: Lekion; pwe tewil toto mi re a.
31And they besought him that he would not command them to go into the abyss.
31Ir ari poeki re a, ender majani on irail, me ren kodilan pweleko.
32And there was there a herd of many swine feeding on the mountain; and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them.
32Ari, pwin pwik kalaimun mi waja o manamana jili nin nana o. Irail ari poeki i, en kotin mueid on irail re en til on irail. I ari kotin mueid on irail.
33The devils therefore went out of the man, and entered into the swine; and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were stifled.
33Tewil oko ap kodi jan ren aramaj o, ap tilon nan pwin pwik o. Pwin pwik o ap tanedi wei ni aul on nan jed ap mopila.
34Which when they that fed them saw done, they fled away, and told it in the city and in the villages.
34Jilepa ko lao kilaner me wiauier, rap tandaui, kolan kanim laud o tikitik kan, kaireki jili.
35And they went out to see what was done; and they came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at his feet, clothed, and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
35Irail ap koieila, kilan me wiauier, re ap kola ren Iejuj, diarada aramaj o, me tewil oko keredi jan lole, momod ni aluwilu en Iejuj, likauda o lolekonlar; irail karoj majakadar.
36And they also that had seen, told them how he had been healed from the legion.
36Me ian udialer, ap kaire kin irail duen tanwar en tewil a kakeladar.
37And all the multitude of the country of the Gerasens besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear. And he, going up into the ship, returned back again.
37Men Kadara karoj ap poe kipoeki i, en koti wei jan re ’rail, pwe re majakadar kaualap. I ari kotida pon jop o, ap kotin purelar.
38Now the man, out of whom the devils were departed, besought him that he might be with him. But Jesus sent him away, saying:
38A ol o, me tewil oko kodi janer, poeki re a, en ian i; a Iejuj jota kotin mueid on i majani:
39Return to thy house, and tell how great things God hath done to thee. And he went through the whole city, publishing how great things Jesus had done to him.
39Purelan deu om, kalok jili duen manaman lapalap, me Kot wiai on uk er! I ari kola, kalok jili nan kanim o duen manaman lapalap, me Iejuj kotin wiai on i.
40And it came to pass, that when Jesus was returned, the multitude received him: for they were all waiting for him.
40Kadekadeo Iejuj lao kotin puredo, aramaj akan ap kajamo i, pwe irail karoj auiaui i.
41And behold there came a man whose name was Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at the feet of Jesus, beseeching him that he would come into his house:
41A kilan, ol amen, ad a Iairuj, jaumaj en jinakoke, kotido poridi ni aluwilu en Iejuj o poeki i, en kotilon on nan im a.
42For he had an only daughter, almost twelve years old, and she was dying. And it happened as he went, that he was thronged by the multitudes.
42Pwe na ieroj jeripein amen, me a par naulriau, me koren ion mela. A ni a kotikot kokodo, pokon o koi don i.
43And there was a certain woman having an issue of blood twelve years, who had bestowed all her substance on physicians, and could not be healed by any.
43A li amen, me nta pwilipwil par naulriau, me pwaineki on jaunwini kan a dipijou karoj. A jota me kak kakelailada i.
44She came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment; and immediately the issue of her blood stopped.
44I me apedo mur i, doke ni kailan japwilim a likau. A pwilipwil en nta madan madada.
45And Jesus said: Who is it that touched me? And all denying, Peter and they that were with him said: Master, the multitudes throng and press thee, and dost thou say, Who touched me?
45Iejuj ap kotin majani: Ij I me jair ia? A karoj lao inda me jota, Petruj o me ian i ap potoan on: Main, pokon o kin kapil pena o koi don ir, a iaduen, re kotin majani: ij i me jair ia?
46And Jesus said: Somebody hath touched me; for I know that virtue is gone out from me.
46A Iejuj kotin majani: Nan meamen jair ia, pwe I pam, me kel eu ko jan er.
47And the woman seeing that she was not hid, came trembling, and fell down before his feet, and declared before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was immediately healed.
47A li o lao ajaer, me a jo kak rirala, ap majapwekada, apedi poridi jan mo a, ap katitiki mon aramaj karoj, karepan a jair i, o duen a kelailada madan.
48But he said to her: Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go thy way in peace.
48A ap kotin majani on i: Jeripein popoleta, om pojon me kakel uk ada, kowei popol.
49As he was yet speaking, there cometh one to the ruler of the synagogue, saying to him: Thy daughter is dead, trouble him not.
49A ni a kotin majaniata, amen potodo jan ren jaumaj en jinakoke o katitiki on i: Japwilim omui jeripein melar. Men da kom kanirieki jaunpadak o.
50And Jesus hearing this word, answered the father of the maid: Fear not; believe only, and she shall be safe.
50A Iejuj lao mani mepukat, ap kotin japen i majani: Koe der majak, koe pojon ta, a ap pan maureda.
51And when he was come to the house, he suffered not any man to go in with him, but Peter and James and John, and the father and mother of the maiden.
51A lao kotilon on nan im o, a jota kotin mueid on amen en ian pedelon on nan pera, Petruj, o loanej, o Iakupuj eta, o jam en jeripein o in a.
52And all wept and mourned for her. But he said: Weep not; the maid is not dead, but sleepeth.
52A irail karoj janejan o mamaukeki i. A i kotin majani: Komail der janejan! Pwe a jota melar, a mamair eta.
53And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.
53Rap kaururki, pwe re aja, me a melar.
54But he taking her by the hand, cried out, saying: Maid, arise.
54I ari kotikiiei jan ir nan pera O, a ap kotin ale pa a waron on I majani: Jeripein, paurida!
55And her spirit returned, and she arose immediately. And he bid them give her to eat.
55Nen en jeripein ap pure don i, i ari madan uda. I ap kotin majani, kijin mana en ko on.
56And her parents were astonished, whom he charged to tell no man what was done.
56A jam a in a puriamui kila. I ari kotin inapwiedi irail ren der indan meamen me wiauier.
