1And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
1I mluvil Hospodin k Mojžíšovi, řka:
2Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: I am the Lord your God.
2Mluv synům Izraelským a rci jim: Já jsem Hospodin Bůh váš.
3You shall not do according to the custom of the land of Egypt, in which you dwelt: neither shall you act according to the manner of the country of Chanaan, into which I will bring you, nor shall you walk in their ordinances.
3Vedlé skutků země Egyptské, v níž jste bydlili, nečiňte, ani podlé skutků země Kananejské, do kteréž já vás uvozuji, činiti budete, a v ustanoveních jejich nechoďte.
4You shall do my judgments, and shall observe my precepts, and shall walk in them. I am the Lord your God.
4Soudy mé čiňte a ustanovení mých ostříhejte, abyste chodili v nich: Já jsem Hospodin Bůh váš.
5Keep my laws and my judgments, which if a man do, he shall live in them. I am the Lord.
5Ostříhejte ustanovení mých a soudů mých. Èlověk ten, kterýž by je činil, živ bude v nich: Já jsem Hospodin.
6No man shall approach to her that is near of kin to him, to uncover her nakedness. I am the Lord.
6Nižádný člověk k žádné přítelkyni krevní nepřistupuj k obnažení hanby její: Já jsem Hospodin.
7Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother: she is thy mother, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
7Hanby otce svého a matky své neodkryješ; matka tvá jest, neodkryješ hanby její.
8Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s wife: for it is the nakedness of thy father.
8Hanby ženy otce svého neodkryješ; nebo hanba otce tvého jest.
9Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy sister by father or by mother, whether born at home or abroad.
9Hanby sestry své, dcery otce svého aneb dcery matky své, kteráž doma zplozena aneb vně zplozena jest, neodkryješ hanby jejich.
10Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy son’s daughter, or thy daughter’s daughter: because it is thy own nakedness.
10Hanby vnučky své, buď po synu neb dceři své, neodkryješ; nebo hanba tvá jsou.
11Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s wife’s daughter, whom she bore to thy father, and who is thy sister.
11Hanby dcery manželky otce svého, kteráž jest zplozena od otce tvého, tvá sestra jest, neodkryješ hanby její.
12Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s sister: because she is the flesh of thy father.
12Hanby sestry otce svého neodkryješ; nebo krevní přítelkyně otce tvého jest.
13Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister: because she is thy mother’s flesh.
13Hanby sestry matky své neodkryješ; nebo krevní přítelkyně matky tvé jest.
14Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s brother: neither shalt thou approach to his wife, who is joined to thee by affinity.
14Hanby bratra otce svého neodkryješ; k manželce jeho nevejdeš, stryna tvá jest.
15Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: because she is thy son’s wife, neither shalt thou discover her shame.
15Hanby nevěsty své neodkryješ; manželka jest syna tvého, neodkryješ hanby její.
16Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother’s wife: because it is the nakedness of thy brother.
16Hanby manželky bratra svého neodkryješ; nebo hanba bratra tvého jest.
17Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy wife and her daughter. Thou shalt not take her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter, to discover her shame: because they are her flesh, and such copulation is incest.
17Hanby ženy a dcery její neodkryješ. Vnučky její po synu neb po dceři její nepojmeš, abys odkryl hanbu její; nebo krevní jsou, a nešlechetnost jest.
18Thou shalt not take thy wife’s sister for a harlot, to rival her, neither shalt thou discover her nakedness, while she is yet living.
18Nevezmeš sobě ženy k ženě první, abys ssoužil ji, odkrývaje hanbu její za života jejího.
19Thou shalt not approach to a woman having her flowers, neither shalt thou uncover her nakedness.
19Také k ženě, když jest v své nemoci nečisté, nepřistoupíš, odkrývaje hanbu její.
20Thou shalt not lie with thy neighbour’s wife, nor be defiled with mingling of seed.
20S manželkou bližního svého nebudeš obcovati, poškvrňuje se s ní.
21Thou shalt not give any of thy seed to be consecrated to the idol Moloch, nor defile the name of thy God: I am the Lord.
21Nedopustíš, aby kdo z semene tvého proveden byl skrze oheň modly Moloch, abys nepoškvrnil jména Boha svého: Já jsem Hospodin.
22Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind, because it is an abomination.
22Nebudeš obcovati s mužským pohlavím, scházeje se s ním jako s ženou; nebo ohavnost jest.
23Thou shalt not copulate with any beast, neither shalt thou be defiled with it. A woman shall not lie down to a beast, nor copulate with it: because it is a heinous crime.
23A s žádným hovadem nebudeš obcovati, poškvrňuje se s ním; ani žena nepoddá se hovadu, aby s ním obývala; nebo mrzkost jest.
24Defile not yourselves with any of these things with which all the nations have been defiled, which I will cast out before you,
24A protož nepoškvrňujtež se žádnou touto věcí; nebo těmito všemi věcmi poškvrnili se pohané, kteréž já vyvrhu od tváři vaší.
25And with which the land is defiled: the abominations of which I will visit, that it may vomit out its inhabitants.
25Nebo poškvrnila se země, a navštívím nepravost její na ní, a vyvrátí země obyvatele své.
26Keep ye my ordinances and my judgments, and do not any of these abominations: neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you.
26Ale vy ostříhejte ustanovení mých a soudů mých, a nečiňte nižádných ohavností těchto, tak domácí jako příchozí, kterýž jest pohostinu u prostřed vás.
27For all these detestable things the inhabitants of the land have done, that; were before you, and have defiled it.
27(Nebo všecky ty ohavnosti činili lidé země té, kteříž byli před vámi, čímž poškvrněna jest země.)
28Beware then, lest in like manner, it vomit you also out, if you do the like things, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.
28Aby nevyvrátila vás země, proto že byste jí poškvrnili, jako vyvrátila národ, kterýž byl před vámi.
29Every soul that shall commit any of these abominations, shall perish from the midst of his people.
29Nebo kdož by koli dopustil se některé ze všech ohavností těch: duše zajisté, kteréž by činily to, vyhlazeny budou z prostředku lidu svého.
30Keep my commandments. Do not the things which they have done, that have been before you, and be not defiled therein. I am the Lord your God.
30Protož ostříhejte přikázání mých, abyste nečinili ničeho z obyčejů ohavných, kteříž činěni jsou před vámi, aniž sebe jimi poškvrňujte: Já jsem Hospodin Bůh váš.
