Bible Mutal (Kosraean)
1Come down, sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne for the daughter of the Chaldeans, for thou shalt no more be called delicate and tender.
1LEUM GOD El fahk, “Babylon, fani liki tron lom, Ac muta fin kutkut infohk uh. Meet kom oana sie virgin, sie siti ma soenna kutangyukla, A inge monum tia sifil fisrasrsrasr ac fwel! Inge kom sie mutan kohs.
2Take a millstone and grind meal: uncover thy shame, strip thy shoulder, make bare thy legs, pass over the rivers.
2Furokak eot in ilil flao! Eisla nuknuk afinyen motom! Sarukla nuknuk kato lom. Olak sikut lom an ac tupalla infacl uh!
3Thy nakedness shall be discovered, and thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and no man shall resist me.
3Mwet uh ac liye lah kom koflufol; Elos fah liye ke kom akpusiselyeyuk ac mwekinla. Nga ac oru foloksak luk, ac wangin mwet ac tulokinyuwi.”
4Our redeemer, the Lord of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.
4God mutal lun Israel El aksukosokyekutla — Inel pa LEUM GOD Kulana.
5Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called the lady of kingdoms.
5LEUM GOD El fahk nu sin Babylon, “Muta in lohsr uh ac mislana. Mwet uh ac tia sifil pangon kom kasra lun mutunfacl uh!
6I was angry with my people, I have polluted my inheritance, and have given them into thy bend: thou hast shewn no mercy to them: upon the ancient thou hast laid thy yoke exceeding heavy.
6Nga tuh kasrkusrak sin mwet luk. Nga tia sifil oralos oana mwet luk. Nga fuhlelosi nu inpoum, Ac kom tiana pakomutalos. Finne mwet matu, kom arulana akkeokyalos.
7And thou hast said: I shall be a lady for ever: thou hast not laid these things to thy heart, neither hast thou remembered thy latter end.
7Kom nunku mu kom ac kasra nwe tok, Oru wangin nunkeyen ma inge sum Lah ac mau fuka saflaiya.
8And now hear these things, thou that art delicate, and dwellest confidently, that sayest in thy heart: I am, and there is none else besides me: I shall not sit as a widow, and I shall not know barrenness.
8“Porongo ma se inge, kom su lungse mwe pwar Ac nunku mu moul lom an oakwuk ac wanginna sensen kac. Kom fahk mu kom fulat oana God, Ac wangin sie oana kom. Kom nunku mu kom ac tiana katinmasla, Ku pulakin keok ke sripen tulik nutum uh wanginla.
9These two things shall come upon thee suddenly in one day, barrenness and widowhood. All things are come upon thee, because of the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great hardness of thy enchanters.
9Tusruktu in kitin pacl na, ke len sefanna, Ma inge kewa fah sikyak nu sum. Kom finne susfa ac orek inutnut, Mukul tomom ac tulik nutum uh ac fah wanginla.
10And thou best trusted in thy wickedness, and hast said: There is none that seeth me. Thy wisdom, and thy knowledge, this hath deceived thee. And thou best said in thy heart: I am, and besides me there is no other.
10“Arulana wangin fosrnga lom ke ma koluk lom; Kom nunku mu wangin sie ac ku in liye kom. Lalmwetmet ac etauk lom kiapwekomla, Ac kom sifacna nunku mu kom God — Wangin sie saya oana kom.
11Evil shall come upon thee, and then shalt not know the rising thereof: and calamity shall fall violently upon thee, which thou canst not keep off: misery shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.
11Mwe ongoiya ac fah tuku nu fom, Ac inutnut lom an tia ku in sikulya. Musalla ac fah sa na in sun kom, Sie musalla yohk ma kom tiana nunku mu ac sikyak!
12Stand now with thy enchanters, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, in which thou hast laboured from thy youth, if so be it may profit thee any thing, or if thou mayst become stronger.
12Sruokyana mwe inutnut ac mwe susfa lom; Kom nuna orekmakin ma ingan oe ke kom fusr ah me. Sahp ac ku in kasrekom, Ku sahp kom ku in sang aksangengye mwet lokoalok lom.
13Thou hast failed in the multitude or thy counsels: let now the astrologers stand and save thee, they that gazed at the stars, and counted the months, that from them they might tell the things that shall come to thee.
13Wangin ku lom, kom finne eis kas in kasru Sin mwet su suiya itu uh, Ac kitalik pulan pacl uh fal nu ke ma elos liye inkusrao, Ac fahkak nu sum ma ac sikyak nu sum Ke malem nu ke malem. Sap mwet tuni ma oan yen engyeng uh ingan in tuku ac molikomla.
14Behold they are as stubble, fire hath burnt them, they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the dames: there are no coals wherewith they may be warmed, nor fire, that they may sit thereat.
14“Elos ac fah oana mah pao, Ma sie e ac fah furreak! Elos ac tia pac ku in sifacna molelosla. Firir sac ac fah arulana fol nu selos, Tia e in langlung se.
15Such are all the things become to thee, in which thou best laboured: thy merchants from thy youth, every one hath erred in his own way, there is none that can save thee.
15Pa na ingan luman kasru kom ac eis sin Mwet tuni ma oan yen engyeng uh, su kom muta lolngok yoro in moul lom nufon. Elos nukewa ac som liki kom ac fahsr innek lalos sifacna, Ac wangin sie selos fah lula in molikomla.”
