Bible Mutal (Kosraean)
1And the Lord said to me: Take thee a great book, and write in it with a man’s pen. Take sway the spoils with speed, quickly take the prey.
1LEUM GOD El fahk nu sik, “Eis sie ipin mwe sim lulap ac simusla fac ke mutun sim lulap: ‘Sulaklak Eisla, Aksaya Wapi.’
2And I took unto me faithful witnesses, Urias the priest, and Zacharias the son of Barachias.
2Eis mwet lulalfongiyuk luo inge tuh elos in mwet loh: mwet tol Uriah, ac Zechariah wen natul Jeberechiah.”
3And I went to the prophetess, and she conceived, and bore a son. And the Lord said to me: Call his name, Hasten to take away the spoils: Make haste to take away the prey.
3Kutu pacl tok, mutan kiuk el pitutu ac oswela wen se. Na LEUM GOD El fahk nu sik, “Sang inel ‘Sulaklak‐Eisla‐Aksaya‐Wapi.’
4For before the child know to call his father and his mother, the strength of Damascus, and the spoils of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of the Assyrians.
4Meet liki tulik mukul sac ku in fahk ‘Papa’ ac ‘Nina,’ mwe kasrup nukewa lun Damascus ac ma wap nukewa lun Samaria ac fah utukla sin tokosra lun Assyria.”
5And the Lord spoke to me again, saying:
5LEUM GOD El sifilpa kaskas nu sik.
6Forasmuch as this people hath cast away the waters of Siloe, that go with silence, and hath rather taken Basin, and the son of Romelia:
6El fahk, “Ke sripen mwet inge srangesr eis kof mihs ma tuku ke Infacl srisrik Shiloah, a elos engan in eisalosyang nu inpaol Tokosra Rezin ac Tokosra Pekah,
7Therefore behold the Lord will bring upon them the waters of the river strong and many, the king of the Assyrians, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and shall overflow all his banks,
7nga, LEUM GOD , ac fah use Tokosra Fulat lun Assyria ac un mwet mweun lal nukewa in mweun lain Judah. Elos ac fahsryak oana tuku lun sronot uh, oana kof lulap ke Infacl Euphrates, ac afunla pefacl uh.
8And shall pass through Juda, overflowing, and going over shall reach even to the neck. And the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Emmanuel.
8Elos ac asrma sasla Judah oana sie sronot ma lapak nu ke fulatan finpisen mwet uh, ac afunla ma nukewa.” God El wi kut! El karingin acn uh ye posohksok lal.
9Gather yourselves together, O ye people, and be overcome, and give ear, all ye lands afar off: strengthen yourselves, and be overcome, gird yourselves, and be overcome.
9Kowos mutunfacl uh, tukeni nu sie ke sangeng! Porongo, kowos su muta yen loessula faclu. Akola in mweun, tusruktu kowos in sangeng! Aok akola, tusruktu kowos in sangeng!
10Take counsel together, and it shall be defeated: speak a word, and it shall not be done: because God is with us.
10Orala oakwuk lowos an, tusruktu ac fah tia ku in orekla. Fahk ma nukewa kowos lungse fahk, tusruktu ac wangin sripa, mweyen God El wi kut.
11For thus saith the Lord to me: As he hath taught me, with a strong arm, that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying:
11Ke ku lulap lal, LEUM GOD El sensenkakinyu nga in tia fahsr ke inkanek ma mwet uh fahsr kac. El fahk,
12Say ye not: A conspiracy: for all that this people speaketh, is a conspiracy: neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.
12“Nik kom wela pwapa sulal lun mwet, ac nik kom sangeng ke ma elos sangeng kac uh.
13Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself: and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.
13Esam lah nga, LEUM GOD Kulana, nga mutal. Nga pa kom ac sangeng se uh.
14And he shall be a sanctification to you. But for a stone or stumbling, and for a rock of offence to the two houses of Israel, for a snare and a ruin to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
14Ke sripen mangoliyen mutal luk, nga oana sie eot ma mwet uh tukulkul kac. Nga oana sie sruhf ma ac srifusrya mwet in tokosrai lun Judah ac Israel, oayapa mwet Jerusalem.
15And very many of them shall stumble and fall, and shall be broken in pieces, and shall be snared, and taken.
15Mwet puspis fah tukulkul. Elos ac ikori ac itungyuki. Elos ac fah sruh ac utukla.”
16Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.
16Kowos, mwet tumuk lutlut, enenu in karinganang ac sruokya ku kas nukewa ma God El ase nu sik.
17And I will wait for the Lord, who hath hid his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.
17LEUM GOD El okanulla sifacna liki mwet lal uh, tuh nga lulalfongel ac filiya finsrak luk in El.
18Behold I and my children, whom the Lord hath given me for a sign, and for a wonder in Israel from the Lord of hosts, who dwelleth in mount Sion.
18Nga pa inge, wi tulik ma LEUM GOD El ase nu sik. LEUM GOD Kulana, su tron lal oan fin Eol Zion, El supwekut nu sin mwet Israel in oana mwe akul moul nu selos.
19And when they shall say to you: Seek of pythons, and of diviners, who mutter in their enchantments: should not the people seek of their God, for the living of the dead?
19Tusruktu mwet uh ac fah siyuk kom in lolngok yurin mwet susfa ac mwet inutnut, su ac mahma srisrik ac mungulngul. Elos fah fahk, “Ya tia fal mwet uh in sukok kas sin ngun, ac lolngok yurin mwet misa in kasru mwet moul?”
20To the law rather, and to the testimony. And if they speak not according to this word, they shall not have the morning light.
20Kowos in topkolos ac fahk, “Lipsre ma LEUM GOD El luti nu suwos! Nimet porongo mwet inutnut — ma elos fahk nu suwos uh ac tia ku in kasrekowos.”
21And they shall pass by it, they shall fall, and be hungry: and when they shall be hungry, they will be angry, and curse their king, and their God, and look upwards.
21Mwet uh ac fufahsryesr fin facl sac, ac elos ac munasla ac masrinsralla. Ke sripen masrinsral lalos elos ac kasrkusrak ac selngawi tokosra lalos ac God lalos. Elos ac ngetak nu inkusrao,
22And they shall look to the earth, and behold trouble and darkness, weakness and distress, and a mist following them, and they cannot fly away from their distress.
