1Now these are the children of the province, that went out of the captivity, which Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and who returned to Jerusalem and Juda, every man to his city.
1و اینانند اهل ولایتها که از اسیری آن اشخاصی که نبوکدنصر، پادشاه بابل، به بابل به اسیری برده بود برآمدند و هر کدام ازایشان به اورشلیم و یهودا و شهر خود برگشتند.
2Who came with Zorobabel, Josue, Nehemia, Saraia, Rahelaia, Mardochai, Belsan, Mesphar, Beguai, Rehum, Baana. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
2اما آنانی که همراه زربابل آمدند، یشوع و نحمیاو سرایا و رعیلایا و مردخای و بلشان و مسفار وبغوای و رحوم و بعنه. و شماره مردان قوم اسرائیل:
3The children of Pharos two thousand one hundred seventy-two.
3بنی فرعوش دو هزار و یکصد و هفتاد و دو.
4The children of Sephatia, three hundred seventy-two.
4بنی شفطیا سیصد و هفتاد و دو.
5The children of Area, seven hundred seventy-five.
5بنی آرح هفتصد و هفتاد و پنج.
6The children of Phahath Moab, of the children of Josue: Joab, two thousand eight hundred twelve.
6بنی فحت موآب ازبنی یشوع و یوآب دو هزار و هشتصد و دوازده.
7The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty-four.
7بنی عیلام هزار و دویست و پنجاه و چهار.

42و پسران دربانان: بنی شلوم و بنی آطیر و بنی طلمون و بنی عقوب و بنی حطیطا وبنی شوبای جمیع اینها صد و سی و نه.
43The Nathinites: the children of Siha, the children of Hasupha, the children of Tabbaoth,
43و امانتینیم: بنی صیحا و بنی حسوفا و بنی طباعوت،
44The children of Ceros, the children of Sia, the children of Phadon,
44و بنی قیروس و بنی سیعها و بنی فادوم،
45The children of Lebana, the children of Hegaba, the children of Accub,
45وبنی لبانه و بنی حجابه و بنی عقوب،
46The children of Hagab, the children of Semlai, the children of Hanan,
46وبنی حاجاب و بنی شملای و بنی حانان،
47The children of Gaddel, the children of Gaher, the children of Raaia,
47وبنی جدیل و بنی جحر و بنی رآیا،

55The children of the servants of Solomon, the children of Sotai, the children of Sopheret, the children of Pharuda,
55و پسران خادمان سلیمان: بنی سوطای وبنی هصوفرت و بنی فرودا،
56The children of Jala, the children of Dercon, the children of Geddel,
56و بنی یعله وبنی درقون و بنی جدیل،
57The children of Saphatia, the children of Hatil, the children of Phochereth, which were of Asebaim, the children of Ami,
57و بنی شفطیا وبنی حطیل و بنی فوخره ظبائیم و بنی آمی.
58All the Nathinites, and the children of the servants of Solomon, three hundred ninety-two.
58جمیع نتینیم و پسران خادمان سلیمان سیصد ونود و دو.
59And these are they that came up from Thelmela, Thelharsa, Cherub, and Adon, and Emer. And they could not shew the house of their fathers and their seed, whether they were of Israel.
59و اینانند آنانی که از تل ملح و تل حرشابرآمدند یعنی کروب و ادان و امیر، اما خاندان پدران و عشیره خود را نشان نتوانستند داد که آیااز اسرائیلیان بودند یا نه.
60The children of Dalaia, the children of Tobia, the children of Necoda, six hundred fifty-two.
60بنی دلایا و بنی طوبیا وبنی نقودا ششصد و پنجاه و دو.
61And of the children of the priests: the children of Hobia, the children of Accos, the children of Berzellai, who took a wife of the daughters of Berzellai, the Galaadite, and was called by their name:
61و از پسران کاهنان، بنی حبایا و بنی هقوص و بنی برزلای که یکی از دختران برزلایی جلعادی را به زنی گرفت، پس به نام ایشان مسمی شدند.
62These sought the writing of their genealogy, and found it not, and they were cast out of the priesthood.
62اینان انساب خود را در میان آنانی که در نسب نامه هاثبت شده بودند طلبیدند، اما نیافتند، پس ازکهانت اخراج شدند.
63And Athersatha said to them, that they should not eat of the holy of holies, till there arose a priest learned and perfect.
63پس ترشاتا به ایشان امر فرمود که تا کاهنی با اوریم و تمیم برقرار نشودایشان از قدس اقداس نخورند.
64All the multitudes as one man, were forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty:
64تمامی جماعت، با هم چهل و دو هزار و سیصد و شصت نفر بودند.
65Besides their menservants, and womenservants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred and thirty-seven: and among them singing men, and singing women two hundred.
65سوای غلامان و کنیزان ایشان، که هفتهزار و سیصد و سی و هفت نفر بودند، ومغنیان و مغنیاه ایشان دویست نفر بودند.
66Their horses seven hundred thirty-six, their mules two hundred forty-five,
66واسبان ایشان هفتصد و سی و شش، و قاطران ایشان دویست و چهل و پنج.
67Their camels four hundred thirty-five, their asses six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
67و شتران ایشان چهارصد و سی و پنج و حماران ایشان ششهزار وهفتصد و بیست.
68And some of the chief of the fathers, when they came to the temple of the Lord, which is in Jerusalem, offered freely to the house of the Lord to build it in its place.
68و چون ایشان به خانه خداوند که دراورشلیم است رسیدند، بعضی از روسای آبا، هدایای تبرعی به جهت خانه خدا آوردند تا آن رادر جایش برپا نمایند.
69According to their ability, they gave towards the expenses of the work, sixty-one thousand solids of gold, five thousand pounds of silver, and a hundred garments for the priests.
69برحسب قوه خود، شصت و یک هزار درهم طلا و پنج هزار منای نقره و صد (دست ) لباس کهانت به خزانه به جهت کار دادند.
70So the priests and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singing men, and the porters, and the Nathinites dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
70پس کاهنان و لاویان و بعضی از قوم و مغنیان و دربانان و نتینیم در شهرهای خودساکن شدند و تمامی اسرائیل در شهرهای خودمسکن گرفتند.
