1After these things, departing from Athens, he came to Corinth.
1ထိုနောက် ပေါလုသည် အာသင် မြို့မှ ထွက်သွား ကောရိန္သု မြို့သို့ ရောက် လေ၏။
2And finding a certain Jew, named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with Priscilla his wife, (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome,) he came to them.
2ထိုအခါ ယုဒ လူအပေါင်း တို့သည် ရောမ မြို့မှ ထွက်သွား ရမည်အကြောင်း၊ ကလောဒိ မင်း အမိန့် တော်ရှိ သည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ပုန္တု ပြည်သားအာကုလ အမည် ရှိသော ယုဒ လူတစ် ယောက်သည် ဣတလိ ပြည်မှ လာ၍၊ မိမိ မယား ပြစ်ကိလ နှင့်တကွ မကြာမမြင့်မှီ ရောက်လာ သည်ကို ပေါလုတွေ့ လျှင်သူ တို့ဆီသို့ဝင် ၍၊
3And because he was of the same trade, he remained with them, and wrought; (now they were tentmakers by trade.)

4And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, bringing in the name of the Lord Jesus; and he persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
4ပေါလုသည်လည်း ဥပုသ်နေ့ မပြတ် တရားစရပ် ၌ ဆွေးနွေး ဟောပြော၍၊ ယုဒ လူနှင့် ဟေလသ လူတို့ကို ဖြားယောင်း သွေးဆောင်လေ၏။
5And when Silas and Timothy were come from Macedonia, Paul was earnest in preaching, testifying to the Jews, that Jesus is the Christ.
5သိလ နှင့် တိမောသေ တို့သည် မာကေဒေါနိ ပြည်မှ ရောက်လာ သောအခါ ၊ ပေါလု သည် သူတို့နှင့်တကွတရား ဟောခြင်းအမှုကိုသာ ဆောင်ရွက် ၍၊ ယေရှု ခရစ် ၏ အကြောင်းကို ယုဒ လူတို့အား ကြိုးစား၍ သက်သေခံ လေ၏။
6But they gainsaying and blaspheming, he shook his garments, and said to them: Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.
6ယုဒလူတို့သည် ငြင်းခုံ ဆဲရေးခြင်းကို ပြုသည် ရှိသော်၊ ပေါလု သည် မိမိအဝတ် ကိုခါ လိုက်လျက်၊ သင် တို့၏ အသွေး သည် သင် တို့၏ ခေါင်း ပေါ်၌ တည်စေ။ ငါ မူကား ကင်းလွတ် ၏။ ယခု မှစ၍ တစ်ပါး အမျိုးသားတို့ဆီသို့ သွား မည်ဟု ဆိုပြီးလျှင်၊
7And departing thence, he entered into the house of a certain man, named Titus Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house was adjoining to the synagogue.
7ထို အရပ်မှထွက် ၍ ဘုရားသခင် ကို ကိုးကွယ် သော ယုတ္တု အမည် ရှိသောသူ ၏ အိမ် သို့ သွား ၏။ ထိုအိမ် သည် တရားစရပ် နှင့် စပ် လျက်ရှိ သတည်း။
8And Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed in the Lord, with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing, believed, and were baptized.
8ကရိပ္ပု အမည်ရှိသောတရားစရပ်မှူး သည် မိမိအိမ်သူ အိမ်သားအပေါင်း တို့နှင့်တကွ သခင် ဘုရားကို ယုံကြည် လေ၏။ ကောရိန္တု ပြည်သားအများ တို့သည် လည်း ယုံကြည် ၍ ဗတ္တိဇံ ကိုခံကြ၏။
9And the Lord said to Paul in the nights, by a vision: Do not fear, but speak; and hold not thy peace,
9ညဉ့် အခါ သခင် ဘုရားသည် ပေါလု အား ဗျာဒိတ် ရူပါရုံကိုပြ၍၊ သင်သည်မ ကြောက် နှင့်။ တိတ်ဆိတ် စွာမ နေနှင့်။ ဟောပြော လော့။
10Because I am with thee: and no man shall set upon thee, to hurt thee; for I have much people in this city.
10ငါ သည်သင် နှင့်အတူ ရှိ ၏။ သင့် ကိုညှဉ်းဆဲ ခြင်းငှာအဘယ်သူ မျှအနိုင် အထက်မပြုရ။ ဤ မြို့ ၌ ငါ ၏ လူ အများ ရှိ ကြသည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
11And he stayed there a year and six months, teaching among them the word of God.
11ပေါလုသည် ထိုမြို့သူ မြို့သားတို့အား ဘုရားသခင် ၏ နှုတ်ကပတ် တရားတော်ကို ဟောပြော သွန်သင်၍တနှစ် နှင့် ခြောက် လ ပတ်လုံးနေ လေ၏။
12But when Gallio was proconsul of Achaia, the Jews with one accord rose up against Paul, and brought him to the judgment seat,
12အခါယ ပြည်ကို ဂါလျုန် မင်းသည် ဝန် အရာနှင့် အုပ်စိုးသောအခါယုဒ လူများသည် တစ် ညီတစ်ညွတ်တည်း ပေါလု ကို အနိုင်အထက် ပြု၍ တရားပလ္လင် ရှေ့ သို့ ယူသွား ပြီးလျှင်၊
13Saying: This man persuadeth men to worship God contrary to the law.
13လူ တို့သည် ဘုရား ကိုမတရား သဖြင့်ကိုးကွယ် စေခြင်းငှာ၊ ဤသူသည် ဖြားယောင်း တတ်ပါသည် ဟုဆို ကြ၏။
14And when Paul was beginning to open his mouth, Gallio said to the Jews: If it were some matter of injustice, or an heinous deed, O Jews, I should with reason bear with you.
14ပေါလု သည် နှုတ် ကိုဖွင့် မည်ပြုသော်၊ ဂါလျူန် မင်းက၊ အချင်း ယုဒ လူတို့၊ မတရားသောအမှု ၊ ဆိုးယုတ် ညစ်ညူး သောအမှုဖြစ် လျှင် ၊ ငါသည်သင် တို့ကို အကြောင်း ရှိ သည်အတိုင်း သည်းခံ ရမည်။
15But if they be questions of word and names, and of your law, look you to it: I will not be judge of such things.

16And he drove them from the judgment seat.
16ယုဒ လူတို့ကို တရားပလ္လင် မှ ပယ်ရှား စေ၏။
17And all laying hold on Sosthenes, the ruler of the synagogue, beat him before the judgment seat; and Gallio cared for none of those things.
17ထိုအခါဟေလသလူအပေါင်း တို့သည် တရားစရပ်မှူး သုဿင် ကိုယူ ၍ တရားပလ္လင် ရှေ့ မှာ ရိုက် ကြ၏။ ထိုအမှု ကိုလည်း ဂါလျူန် မင်းသည် အမှု မ ထား ဘဲနေ၏။
18But Paul, when he had stayed yet many days, taking his leave of the brethren, sailed thence into Syria (and with him Priscilla and Aquila), having shorn his head in Cenchrae: for he had a vow.

19And he came to Ephesus, and left them there. But he himself entering into the synagogue, disputed with the Jews.

20And when they desired him, that he would tarry a longer time, he consented not;
20ထိုသူ တို့သည် မိမိတို့နှင့်အတူပေါလု နေ ပါဦးမည်အကြောင်း တောင်းပန် သောအခါ ၊ ပေါလုသည် ဝန် မ ခံဘဲလျက်၊
21But taking his leave, and saying: I will return to you again, God willing, he departed from Ephesus.
21ယခုရောက်လုနီးသောပွဲကိုယေရုရှလင်မြို့၌ ငါအမှန်ခံရမည်။ ဘုရားသခင် အလို တော်ရှိလျှင်၊ နောက်တစ်ဖန် သင် တို့ရှိရာ သို့ ငါပြန် ဦးမည်ဟူ၍အခွင့် တောင်းပြီးမှ ၊ ပြစ်ကိလနှင့်အာကုလကို ဧဖက် မြို့၌ ထား၍ သင်္ဘောနှင့်လွှင့် ပြန်လေ၏။
22And going down to Caesarea, he went up to Jerusalem, and saluted the church, and so came down to Antioch.
22ကဲသရိ မြို့သို့ ရောက် လျှင် ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ တက် ၍ အသင်းတော် နှင့် နှုတ်ဆက် ပြီးမှအန္တိအုတ် မြို့ သို့ သွား ပြန်၏။
23And after he had spent some time there, he departed, and went through the country of Galatia and Phrygia, in order, confirming all the disciples.
23ထိုမြို့၌ အတန် အရာနေ ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ထွက် ပြန်၍ ဂလာတိ ပြည် ၊ ဖြူဂိ ပြည်ကို အစဉ် အတိုင်း ရှောက်သွား သဖြင့်၊ တပည့် တော်အပေါင်း တို့ကို မြဲမြံ ခိုင်ခံ့စေ၏။
24Now a certain Jew, named Apollo, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, came to Ephesus, one mighty in the scriptures.
24အာပေါလု အမည် ရှိသော အာလေဇဒြိ မြို့သား ၊ ယုဒ လူ တစ် ယောက်သည် ဧဖက် မြို့သို့ ရောက်လာ ၏။ ထိုသူ သည် နှုတ် သတ္တိနှင့် ပြည့်စုံ၍ ကျမ်းစာ ၌ အားကြီး သောသူဖြစ် ၏။
25This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in spirit, spoke, and taught diligently the things that are of Jesus, knowing only the baptism of John.
25သခင် ဘုရား၏ဘာသာ ၌လေ့ကျက် ၍ စိတ် အားကြီး သဖြင့် ၊ သခင် ဘုရား၏ အကြောင်း များကို စေ့စေ့ ဟောပြော ၍ ဆုံးမ ဩဝါဒပေး၏။ သို့သော်လည်း၊ ယောဟန် ၏ ဗတ္တိဇံ ကိုသာ သိ ၏။
26This man therefore began to speak boldly in the synagogue. Whom when Priscilla and Aquila had heard, they took him to them, and expounded to him the way of the Lord more diligently.
26ထိုသူ သည် တရားစရပ် ၌ ရဲရင့်စွာဟောပြော စ ပြုသဖြင့်၊ အာကုလ နှင့် ပြစ်ကိလ တို့သည် သူ ၏စကား ကို ကြားသောအခါ ၊ သူ့ ကိုယူ ၍ဘုရားသခင် ၏ ဘာသာ တရားကိုသာ၍ သေချာစွာသင်ကြား ကြ၏။
27And whereas he was desirous to go to Achaia, the brethren exhorting, wrote to the disciples to receive him. Who, when he was come, helped them much who had believed.
27ထိုသူ သည် အခါယ ပြည်သို့ သွား ခြင်းငှာအလိုရှိ သည်ဖြစ်၍ ၊ တပည့် တော်ချင်းတို့သည် သူ့ ကိုလက်ခံ မည်အကြောင်း ညီအစ်ကို တို့သည်မှာစာ ကိုပေးလိုက်ကြ၏။ သူ သည်ရောက်လာ လျှင်၊ ကျေးဇူး တော်အားဖြင့် ယုံကြည် သော သူ တို့ကို အလွန် ထောက်မ လေ၏။
28For with much vigour he convinced the Jews openly, shewing by the scriptures, that Jesus is the Christ.
28ယေရှု သည်ခရစ်တော် ဖြစ် တော်မူကြောင်းကို ကျမ်းစာ အားဖြင့် ထင်ရှားစွာပြ ၍၊ လူ အပေါင်းတို့ရှေ့မှာ ယုဒ လူတို့၏စကားကို အားကြီး စွာ ပယ်ဖျက် လေ၏။
