Testamenta Marra (Dieri New Testament)
Berean Standard Bible
1Ditji mara wora ja kulnuni Passani ngopera Jesus Bethaniani wokarana wonti woderi Lazarus nganana wonti, nina Jesujeli narindru jiritjibana paraia.
1Six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, the hometown of Lazarus, whom He had raised from the dead.
2Tanali nunkangu naka buka pirna ngankingana wonti, ja Martha mili nganana wonti; Lazarus kulno tanangundru nganana wonti, tana nunkangunto kurlini ngamana wonti.
2So they hosted a dinner for Jesus there. Martha served, and Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with Him.
3Marthandru Narda gildi koko kulno ngumu pirnanto manina wonti ja Jesuni tidna wiribana wonti ja tidna nunkani parali nankanali muja ngankana wonti, ja punga manamiri pantjina wonti gildia kuli ngumujeli.
3Then Mary took about a pint of expensive perfume, made of pure nard, and she anointed Jesus’ feet and wiped them with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
4Nunkani milindru kulno, Judas Simon Ischariot, nulu nina wontawontananto, jatana wonti:
4But one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was going to betray Him, asked,
5„Minandru ninapini gildi wata 300 mardatandraia jinkina warai kalalaia, ja wangiwangini bakujeli jinkina warai?“
5“Why wasn’t this perfume sold for three hundred denarii and the money given to the poor?”
6Jenia nau wata jatana wonti, ngangau nulu kana wangiwangi ngundrana wonti, a‐ai, ngangau nau kurikantji nganana wonti, ja billi ngamalkana wonti ja patana wonti, mina tanali kurarala.
6Judas did not say this because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief. As keeper of the money bag, he used to take from what was put into it.
7Jesus jatana wonti: „Nana worani patanau! ngakani todini ditjia nandruja jenia kulkana warai.
7“Leave her alone,” Jesus replied. “She has kept this perfume in preparation for the day of My burial.
8Ngangau kana wangiwangi jura milingeru ngamalkai, ngana jura wata milingeru ngamalkai.“
8The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have Me.”
9Juda kana wolarali ngarana wonti, Nau naka ngananani; ja tana wata windri Jesungundru wokarana wonti, a‐ai, tanali bakana Lazarus najinanto, nina Nulu narindru jiritjibana paranani.
9Meanwhile a large crowd of Jews learned that Jesus was there. And they came not only because of Him, but also to see Lazarus, whom He had raised from the dead.
10Priesta pirna wora manamandumandurina wonti bakana nina Lazarus naria nandrala.
10So the chief priests made plans to kill Lazarus as well,
11Ngangau Juda kana marapu nunkangundru wapana wonti, ja Jesungu morlalu ngundrana wonti.
11for on account of him many of the Jews were deserting them and believing in Jesus.
12Ditji kulnuni kana marapujeli, tana ditji pirnani matja wokarana, ngarana wonti Jesus Jerusalemia wokaranani.
12The next day the great crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem.
13Tanali palma pitandru ngunanguna manina wonti ja dunkana wonti nunkangu mandurila ja maritjina wonti: „Hosiana, jurakokani nganaiatimai nunkangu, Nauja wokarai Kaparaia talani Israelaia Kapara!“
13They took palm branches and went out to meet Him, shouting: “Hosanna!” “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Blessed is the King of Israel!”
14Jesujeli donki matja manina, Nau nunkangu ngamana tarana wonti, worderu dakanala parai:
14Finding a young donkey, Jesus sat on it, as it is written:
15„Wata japali nganau Zionani ngatamurajai, mai, Kapara jinkani wokarala wapaia donki kuparani dukaterina!“
15“Do not be afraid, O Daughter of Zion. See, your King is coming, seated on the colt of a donkey.”
16Jenia milieli nunkanali ngopera wata ngujamana wonti, a‐ai, jendranguta Jesujeli pirnala nunkani matja manina, ngadani tanali ngundrana wonti, tananapini nunkangundru dakana wonti, ja tanali nunkangu jenia ngankanala.
16At first His disciples did not understand these things, but after Jesus was glorified they remembered what had been done to Him, and they realized that these very things had also been written about Him.
17Kana wolarali tana nunkangunto nganana, Nulu Lazarus narikutundru karkana paraia ja nina narindru jiritjibana paraia, jenia tinkari ngankana wonti.
17Meanwhile, many people continued to testify that they had been with Jesus when He called Lazarus from the tomb and raised him from the dead.
18Jendrangundruja bakana kana wolara nunkangu mandurina wonti, ngangau tanali ngarana warai, Nulu ninapini malka ngankana paraia.
18That is also why the crowd went out to meet Him, because they heard that He had performed this sign.
19Pharisaiali ngankamalina wonti: „Jura najiai, jenia jurangu baku nganai; mai, kana warupoto nunkangu wapantina warai.“
19Then the Pharisees said to one another, “You can see that this is doing you no good. Look how the whole world has gone after Him!”
20Naka Grieka kana palpa nganana wonti tanangundru, tana milingeru tarana wonti ditji pirnani ngatjila.
20Now there were some Greeks among those who went up to worship at the feast.
21Tanapini Philippungu wokarana wonti, nau Bethsaida Galilaiandru nganana wonti ja nunkangu ngatjina wonti ja jatana wonti: „Kaparajai, ngaiani ngantjai Jesus najila.“
21They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and requested of him, “Sir, we want to see Jesus.”
22Philippus wokarai ja Andreangu jenia jatai; ja Andreas ja Philippus jenia nakaldra Jesungu jatai.
22Philip relayed this appeal to Andrew, and both of them went and told Jesus.
23Jesujeli kalabana wonti ja tanangu jatana wonti: „Ditji matja wokarana warai, Kanaia Ngatamura pirna pantjinanto. (Ngantjani‐jaura Laurentius ditjini.)
23But Jesus replied, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
24Morlalu, morlalu, ngani jurangu jatai: Buka tandra matja mitani purina wata palinani, nau kulnulu parai; nau matja palinani, nulu tandra marapu punkibai.
24Truly, truly, I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a seed; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
25Warle tepi nunkani ngantjai, nulu nina tintala nganai; ja worana nunkani tepini kalakalariai nunkangupini mitani, nulu nina tepi nguralia ngamalkala nganai.
25Whoever loves his life will lose it, but whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
26Worana mili ngakani nganai, nau ngakangu karipateriatimai, ja woderi ngani nganai, jerra bakana mili ngakani nganala nganai; ja worana mili ngakani nganala nganai, nina Ngaperali ngakanali pirna ngundrala nganai.
26If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, My servant will be as well. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.
27Ngani mungara karari ngaratutututungai. Ja mina ngani jatananto? Ngaperiai, nunkangupini ditjindru ngana kulkamai! Windri jendrangundruja ngani nunkangupini ditjini wokarana warai.
27Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? No, it is for this purpose that I have come to this hour.
28Ngaperiai, tala jinkani pirna ngankamai!“ Ngaiala kulno pariwilpandru wokarana wonti: „Ngato ninaia pirna ngankana warai, ja ninaia nakaldra pirna ngankala nganai.“
28Father, glorify Your name!” Then a voice came from heaven: “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.”
29Kana wolara tana jerra terkana ja ngarana, jatana wonti: „Talara piltripiltri nganana warai;“ palpa jatana wonti: „Angela kulno nunkangunto ngankamalina warai.“
29The crowd standing there heard it and said that it had thundered. Others said that an angel had spoken to Him.
30Jesujeli kalabana wonti ja jatana wonti: „Naupini ngaiala wata ngakangundru, a‐ai, jurangundru pantjina warai.
30In response, Jesus said, “This voice was not for My benefit, but yours.
31Karari nunkangupini mitani puntibani nganai; karari Nulia nunkanipini mitaia kapara narrala nganai.
31Now judgment is upon this world; now the prince of this world will be cast out.
32Ja ngani mitandru matja miri ngananani, ngato warupotopratjana ngakangu parumala nganai.“
32And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw everyone to Myself.”
33Jenia Nau jatana wonti wondrala, mina nari Nau palinanto.
33He said this to indicate the kind of death He was going to die.
34Kana wolarali nunkangu kalabana wonti: „Ngaiani jirijiribani jaurandru ngarana warai, Christus ngurali ngamala nganai; ja worderu jidni jatai: Kanaia Ngatamura miri pantjinanto? Worana Naupini Kanaia Ngatamura nganai?“
34The crowd replied, “We have heard from the Law that the Christ will remain forever. So how can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?”
35Jesus tanangu jatana wonti: „Windri miljaru wordu morla praitji jurangunto nganai. Wirarianau jeruntjaia jura praitji ngamalkai, ngangau ngalpurali jurana pataiati. Ja worana ngalpurani wirariai, nau wata milkila wodajeri nau wapai.
35Then Jesus told them, “For a little while longer, the Light will be among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.
36Jeruntjaia jura praitji ngamalkai, praitjani morlalu ngundranau, ngangau jura praitjaia kupa pantjinanto.“ Jenia Jesujeli kaukaubana wonti ja wapana wonti ja tanangundru kurukurumalkaterina wonti.
36While you have the Light, believe in the Light, so that you may become sons of light.” After Jesus had spoken these things, He went away and was hidden from them.
37Nulu jeruntja malka tanangu milkini ngankana wonti, ja tanali nunkangu wata morlalu ngundrana wonti,
37Although Jesus had performed so many signs in their presence, they still did not believe in Him.
38Ngangau Jesaiani Prophetaia jaura morlalu pantjinanto, nina nau jatana wonti: „Kaparajai, warle ngaianinani ngujangujarani morlalu ngundrana warai? Ja worangu Kaparaia nguna tinkari pantjina warai?“
38This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet: “Lord, who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”
39Jendrangundruja tana ngandandarina wonti morlalu ngundrala, ngangau Jesaias nakaldra jatai:
39For this reason they were unable to believe. For again, Isaiah says:
40„Nulia tanani milki butju ngankana wonti ja tanani ngara ngurunguru ngankana wonti, ngangau tanali milkieli wata najinanto ja ngarali wata ngujamananto ja madlentjandru karitjinanto, ngato tanana tepi ngankananto.“
40“He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so that they cannot see with their eyes, and understand with their hearts, and turn, and I would heal them.”
41Jenia Jesaias jatana wonti, nulu pirnala nunkani matja najina ja nunkangundru kaukaubana wonti.
41Isaiah said these things because he saw Jesus’ glory and spoke about Him.
42Bakana kapara marapujeli nunkangu morlalu ngundrana wonti; windri Pharisaiandru tanali nina wata kantji dikana wonti, tanali tanana Godaia milindru narraiati.
42Nevertheless, many of the leaders believed in Him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, for fear that they would be put out of the synagogue.
43Ngangau tanali kanaia pirnala morla ngantjana wonti Godaia pirnalani.
43For they loved praise from men more than praise from God.
44Jesus parparali karkana wonti ja jatana wonti: „Warle ngakangu morlalu ngundrai, wata ngakangu morlalu ngundrai, a‐ai, windri nunkangu, Nulia ngana jinpanala.
44Then Jesus cried out, “Whoever believes in Me does not believe in Me alone, but in the One who sent Me.
45Ja warle ngana najiai, nulu ninaia najiai, Nulia ngana jinpanala.
45And whoever sees Me sees the One who sent Me.
46Ngani mitani wokaranala praitji nganala; ngangau warle ngakangu morlalu ngundrai wata morla ngalpurani nganananto.
46I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in Me should remain in darkness.
47Ja warle jaura ngakani bulu ngarai ja wata morlalu ngundrai, nunkangu wata ngato kalala kurai, ngangau ngato wata wokaranala mitalani kalala kurala, a‐ai, mitala kulkala.
47As for anyone who hears My words and does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world.
48Warle ngana worarai, ja jaura ngakani wata patai, nulu nina ngamalkai, nulu nunkangu kalala kurai; nulupini jaurali, nina ngani jatana warai, nunkangu kalala kurala nganai ditjini ngadalani.
48There is a judge for the one who rejects Me and does not receive My words: The word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day.
49Ngangau ngato wata ngakangundru muntali kaukaubana warai, a‐ai, Ngaperali, Nulia ngana jinpanala, ngakangu jirijiribani jaura jinkinala; mina ngato kaukaubananto ja mina ngani jatananto.
49I have not spoken on My own, but the Father who sent Me has commanded Me what to say and how to say it.
50Ja ngani milkila, nunkani jirijiribani jaura tepi ngurali nganai. Mina ngani jatala wapaia, jenia ngani jeruja jatai, worderu Ngaperali ngakangu jatanala.“
50And I know that His command leads to eternal life. So I speak exactly what the Father has told Me to say.”
