Testamenta Marra (Dieri New Testament)
King James Version with Apocrypha
1Ngato jurangu tinkari ngankai, ngatata worajai, ngantjani jaura, ninaia ngato jurangu kaukaubana wonti, ninaia jura bakana patana wonti, ninapini jura bakana ngamalkala wapaia,
1Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2Nunkangundru jura bakana tepi pantjila nganai, jura wonki ngamalkanani, mina jaurali ngato jurangu ninaia kaukaubana wonti, jura wata bakujeli morlalu ngundrani pantjina wonti.
2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3Ngangau ngato jurangu ngopera jinkina wonti, mina ngato bakana manina wonti, Christus palina wonti madlentji ngaianandru, worderu jaura worali kaukaubai;
3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4Ja tanali ninaia todina wonti, ja Nauja jiritjina tarana wonti ditjini parkulani, worderu jaura worali kaukaubai.
4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
5Ja Nauja wondraterina wonti Kephangu, ngadani marapratjana ja mandruni
5And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
6Ngadani Nauja wondraterina wonti moria 500 ngatatani pota kulno, tanangundru marapu tepi ngamala wapaia, ja palpa matja turarai.
6After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
7Ngadani Nauja wondraterina wonti Jakobungu, ngadani Apostel worangu.
7After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
8Mili warupotuni ngadani Nauja bakana ngakangu wondraterina wonti tidari jeri, nau ditji talkuja woljaia dankanala.
8And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
9Apostel worangu ngani wata talku nganai Apostel tala ngamalkala, ngangau ngani Godaia mili wolarani tirikaripaterina wonti.
9For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
10Windri Godaia manjulandru ngani nganai mina ngani nganai, ja manjula nunkani ngakangu wata baku nganana wonti, a ai, ngato morla ngankana wonti tanangu pratjanani, ja wata ngato, a‐ai, Godaia manjula ngakangunto.
10But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
11Ngato kara, tanali kara: Jeruja ngaiani jaura jinkiai, ja jeruja jura morlalu ngundranala.
11Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.
12Ngujangujara Christungundru paranani, Nauja narindru jiritjina wonti, worderu kana palpa jurangu terti jatai, narila wata jiritjiai?
12Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13Narila wata jiritjinani, jeruja bakana Christus wata jiritjina wonti.
13But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14Christus wata narindru jiritjina wontinani, jeruja bakana ngujangujara ngaianini kala ngananani, ja bakana jurani morlalu ngundrani kala nganai.
14And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15Ngaiani bakana jeruja jedi tinkari ngankanietja nganai Godaia, ngangau ngaiani tinkari ngankana warai Godani, Nulia Christus jiritjibana wonti, ninaia Nulia wata jiritjibana wonti, narila wata jiritjinani.
15Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
16Narila wata jiritjinani, jeruja bakana Christus wata jiritjina wonti.
16For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17Christus wata jiritjina wontinani, jurani morlalu ngundrani baku ngananani, ja kararielu jura madlentjani juranani ngamanani;
17And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
18Jeruja bakana tana, Christungu matja parala wapaia, tintaterina warai.
18Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19Ngaiani windri jenipara ngananani, tana nunkangupini tepini Christungu kalkanani, ngaiani morla wangiwangi ngananani kanani worupotuni.
19If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
20Karari Christus matja narindru jiritjina wonti, ja ngoperala pantjina wonti tanangu, tana mukaturarala wapaia.
20But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
21Jeruja kana kulnundru nari, bakana kana kulnundru narindru jiritjini nganai.
21For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22Ngangau worderu Adamangu pratjana paliai, jeruja bakana Christungu pratjana tepi pantjila nganai.
22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23Pratjana tanani wittani; Ngoperala Christus, ngadani tana, tana Christungu jela nganai, Nauja tikanani;
23But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
24Ngadani mudani, Nulia milila Goda Ngaperani matja jinkina, ja Nulia kapara pratjana ja ngurula pratjana ja pirnala pratjana matja teribana.
24Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25Ngangau Nauja Kapara nganananto, Nulia talpala pratjana nunkangu tidnani kuranantulu.
25For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26Pratjanani ngadani Nulia mudani talpala, ninaia nari, teribala nganai.
26The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27Ngangau warupoto Nulia nunkangu tidnani kurana wonti. Nauja jatanani: Warupoto nunkangu matja kurana, jeruja kantji kalitakali Naujata, nunkangu Nulia warupoto kurana wonti.
27For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28Nunkangu warupoto matja kurana, ngadani bakana Nauja Ngatamura kuraterila nganai nunkangu, Nulia nunkangu warupoto matja kurana, ngangau Goda warupoto nganananto warupotuni.
28And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
29Mina tanali ngankala nganai, tanali multibanila maniai kana narini? Kana nari wata jiritjinani, minandru tanali multibanila maniai kana narini?
29Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
30Minandru ngaiani ditji pratjanani ketjaketjanani terkai?
30And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
31Ditji pratjanani ngani palila wapaia jurakokaterina jurangundru, ninaia ngato ngamalkai Kapara ngaiananani Jesungu Christungu.
31I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
32Ngani kana jeribaka Ephesungu nganti tirini tirimalina wonti, mina ngato ngamalkai nunkangundru? Narila wata jiritjinani, ngaiani tajinanto ja tapananto, ngangau tankubana ngaiani matja nari.
32If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.
33Ngamalkaterianau karkarkanandru: „Ngankamalina madlentji ngamana ngumu tjautjau ngankai.“
33Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
34Tepirianau, ja wata madlentji ngankanau; ngangau palpali Goda wata ngujamai, jurangu nintaia ngani jenia jatai.
34Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
35Kulno jatala nganai: Worderu narila jiritjila nganai? Ja mina palkujeli tana dunkala nganai?
35But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36Jidni patipatiai! Mina jundru jaupai wata tepi pantjiai, a‐ai, jenia ngopera palinanto.
36Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
37Ja minanina jundru jaupai, jenia wata naupini palku nganai, nau pantjinanto, a‐ai, windri tandra balu, buka tandra kara tandra nguja pilki kara.
37And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain :
38Godali nunkangu palku jinkiai, worderu Nauja jertapaterina wonti, ja tandra nguja pilki ja pilkini palku pilki ja pilki.
38But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39Wata nganti pratjana jeribaka nganai, a‐ai, kanaia nganti pilki, ngantia nganti pilki, paia nganti pilki, paru nganti pilki.
39All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40Ja pariwilpaia palku ja mitaia palku parai; tananina pariwilpaia pirnala nguja pilki nganai, ja tananina mitaia pilki nganai.
40There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41Ditji pirnaia mintjini pilki nganai, ja piraia mintjini pilki nganai, ja ditji wakaia mintjini pilki nganai; ja ditji waka kulno morla pirna mintjiai kulnuni.
41There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42Jeruja bakana narila jiritjini nganai. Tanali nina jaupai puapuarinani, ja Nulia nina jiritjibala nganai wata puapuarinani.
42So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43Tanali nina jaupai pirnala panini, ja Nulia nina jiritjibala nganai pirnalani. Tanali nina jaupai waltowaltuni, ja Nulia nina jiritjibala nganai ngurunguruni.
43It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44Tanali jaupai mungara palku; ja Nulia jiritjibala nganai jaola palku. Mungaraia palku ngananani, jeruja bakana jaolaia palku ngananani.
44It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45Jeruja bakana dakanala parai: „Kana ngoperala, Adam, pantjina wonti mungara tepia; Adam ngadala tepi ngankani jaolaia.“
45And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46Jaolaia palku wata ngopera nganana wonti, a‐ai, mungaraia, ngadani jaolaia.
46Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47Kana ngoperala mitandru nganai, mita kana; kana mandrula pariwilpandru nganai.
47The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48Worderu mitala nganai, jeruja bakana mitala wolara nganai; ja worderu pariwilpala nganai, jeruja bakana pariwilpala wolara nganai.
48As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49Ja worderu ngaiani mitalaia mudla mandrana warai, jeruja ngaiani bakana pariwilpalaia mudla mandrala nganai.
49And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50Jenia ngani jatai, ngatata worajai, palku ja kumari ngandandariai Godaia milila maratunka manila; bakana puapuarinali puapuarini panini wata maratunka manila nganai.
50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51Mai! Ngani jaura kurukuru jurangu jatai: Wata ngaiani pratjana palila nganai, a‐ai, Nulia ngaianina pratjana karitjimalkala nganai.
51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52Nurujeli, milkiwirpini kulnuni, wima koko ngadalani. Ngangau wima koko ngaru maritjila nganai, ja Nulia narila jiritjibala nganai puapuarini panini, ja Nulia ngaianina karitjimalkala nganai.
52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53Ngangau naupini puapuarini widmaterila nganai puapuarini panila, ja naupini narila widmaterila nganai nari panila.
53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54Naupini puapuarini widmaterina warai puapuarini panila, ja naupini narila widmaterina warai nari panila, ngadani jaura morlalu pantjila nganai, mina dakanala parai:
54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55„Nari julkana warai kalalu ngankanaia. Nariai, woderi dilka jinkani? Turujai, woderi kalalu ngankana jinkani?“
55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56Naria dilka madlentji nganai, madlentjaia ngurula jirijiribani jaura nganai.
56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57Godani jurakokana nganaiatimai, ngangau Nulia ngaianingu kalalu ngankana jinkiai ngaianani Kapara Jesu Christungundru.
57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58Jendrangundruja, ngatata ngantjalu ngakani, ngurunguru, taturu, ja poto pirna pantjianau Kaparaia ngankanani milingeru, ngangau jura milkila, ngankani jurani wata baku nganai Kaparani.
58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
