1The sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
2[5:28] Die Kinder aber Kahaths waren: Amram, Jizhar, Hebron und Usiel.
2And the sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.
3[5:29] Die Kinder Amrams waren: Aaron, Mose und Mirjam. Die Kinder Aaron waren Nadab, Abihu, Eleasar und Ithamar.
3And the children of Amram; Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam. The sons also of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
4[5:30] Eleasar zeugte Pinehas. Pinehas zeugte Abisua.
4¶ Eleazar begat Phinehas, Phinehas begat Abishua,
5[5:31] Abisua zeugte Bukki. Bukki zeugte Usi.
5And Abishua begat Bukki, and Bukki begat Uzzi,
6[5:32] Usi zeugte Serahja. Serahja zeugte Merajoth.
6And Uzzi begat Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begat Meraioth,
7[5:33] Merajoth zeugte Amarja. Amarja zeugte Ahitob.
7Meraioth begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,
8[5:34] Ahitob zeugte Zadok. Zadok zeugte Ahimaaz.
8And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Ahimaaz,
9[5:35] Ahimaaz zeugte Asarja. Asarja zeugte Johanan.
9And Ahimaaz begat Azariah, and Azariah begat Johanan,
10[5:36] Johanan zeugte Asarja, den, der Priester war in dem Hause, das Salomo baute zu Jerusalem.
10And Johanan begat Azariah, (he it is that executed the priest’s office in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem:)
11[5:37] Asarja zeugte Amarja. Amarja zeugte Ahitob.
11And Azariah begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,
12[5:38] Ahitob zeugte Zadok. Zadok zeugte Sallum.
12And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Shallum,
13[5:39] Sallum zeugte Hilkia. Hilkia zeugte Asarja.
13And Shallum begat Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begat Azariah,
14[5:40] Asarja zeugte Seraja. Seraja zeugte Jozadak.
14And Azariah begat Seraiah, and Seraiah begat Jehozadak,
15[5:41] Jozadak aber ward mit weggeführt, da der HERR Juda und Jerusalem durch Nebukadnezar ließ gefangen wegführen.
15And Jehozadak went into captivity , when the LORD carried away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.
16[6:1] So sind nun die Kinder Levis diese: Gerson, Kahath, Merari.
16¶ The sons of Levi; Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.
17So heißen aber die Kinder Gersons: Libni und Simei.
17And these be the names of the sons of Gershom; Libni, and Shimei.
18Aber die Kinder Kahaths heißen: Amram, Jizhar, Hebron und Usiel.
18And the sons of Kohath were , Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.
19Die Kinder Meraris heißen: Maheli und Musi. Das sind die Geschlechter der Leviten nach ihren Vaterhäusern.
19The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers.
20Gerson Sohn war Libni; des Sohn war Jahath; des Sohn war Simma;
20Of Gershom; Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,
21des Sohn war Joah; des Sohn war Iddo; des Sohn war Serah; des Sohn war Jeathrai.
21Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, Jeaterai his son.
22Kahaths Sohn aber war Aminadab; des Sohn war Korah; des Sohn war Assir;
22The sons of Kohath; Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,
23des Sohn war Elkana; des Sohn war Abiasaph; des Sohn war Assir;
23Elkanah his son, and Ebiasaph his son, and Assir his son,
24des Sohn war Thahat; des Sohn war Uriel; des Sohn war Usia; des Sohn war Saul.
24Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son.
25Die Kinder Elkanas waren: Amasai und Ahimoth;
25And the sons of Elkanah; Amasai, and Ahimoth.
26des Sohn war Elkana; des Sohn war Elkana von Zoph; des Sohn war Nahath;
26As for Elkanah: the sons of Elkanah; Zophai his son, and Nahath his son,
27des Sohn war Eliab; des Sohn war Jeroham; des Sohn war Elkana.
27Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son.
28Und die Kinder Samuels waren: der Erstgeborene Vasni und Abia.
28And the sons of Samuel; the firstborn Vashni, and Abiah.
29Meraris Sohn war Maheli; des Sohn war Libni; des Sohn war Simei; des Sohn war Usa;
29The sons of Merari; Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzza his son,
30des Sohn war Simea; des Sohn war Haggia; des Sohn war Asaja.
30Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.
31Dies sind aber, die David bestellte, zu singen im Hause des HERRN, als die Lade des Bundes zur Ruhe gekommen war;
31And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD , after that the ark had rest.
32und sie dienten vor der Wohnung der Hütte des Stifts mit Singen, bis daß Salomo das Haus des HERRN baute zu Jerusalem, und standen nach ihrer Weise in ihrem Amt.
32And they ministered before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of the congregation with singing, until Solomon had built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem: and then they waited on their office according to their order.
33Und dies sind sie, die da standen, und ihre Kinder: Von den Kindern Kahaths war Heman, der Sänger, der Sohn Joels, des Sohnes Samuel;
33And these are they that waited with their children. Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman a singer, the son of Joel, the son of Shemuel,
34des Sohnes Elkanas, des Sohnes Jerohams, des Sohnes Eliels, des Sohnes Thoahs,
34The son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,
35des Sohnes Zuphs, des Sohnes Elkanas, des Sohnes Mahaths, des Sohnes Amasais,
35The son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,
36des Sohnes Elkanas, des Sohnes Joels, des Sohnes Asarjas, des Sohnes Zephanjas,
36The son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,

37The son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah,
38des Sohnes Jizhars, des Sohnes Kahaths, des Sohnes Levis, des Sohnes Israels.
38The son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.
39Und sein Bruder Asaph stand zu seiner Rechten. Und er, der Asaph, war ein Sohn Berechjas, des Sohnes Simeas,
39And his brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand, even Asaph the son of Berachiah, the son of Shimea,
40des Sohnes Michaels, des Sohnes Baesejas, des Sohnes Malchias,
40The son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchiah,
41des Sohnes Athnis, des Sohnes Serahs, des Sohnes Adajas,
41The son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah,

44Ihre Brüder aber, die Kinder Meraris, standen zur Linken: nämlich Ethan, der Sohn Kusis, des Sohnes Abdis, des Sohnes Malluchs,
44And their brethren the sons of Merari stood on the left hand: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,
45des Sohnes Hasabjas, des Sohnes Amazjas, des Sohnes Hilkias,
45The son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,
46des Sohnes Amzis, des Sohnes Banis, des Sohnes Semers,
46The son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shamer,
47des Sohnes Mahelis, des Sohnes Musis, des Sohnes Meraris, des Sohnes Levis.
47The son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.
48Ihre Brüder aber, die Leviten, waren gegeben zu allerlei Amt an der Wohnung des Hauses Gottes.
48Their brethren also the Levites were appointed unto all manner of service of the tabernacle of the house of God.
49Aaron aber und seine Söhne waren im Amt, anzuzünden auf dem Brandopferaltar und auf dem Räucheraltar und zu allem Geschäft im Allerheiligsten und zu versöhnen Israel, wie Mose, der Knecht Gottes, geboten hatte.
49¶ But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, and were appointed for all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.
50Dies sind aber die Kinder Aarons: Eleasar, sein Sohn: des Sohn war Pinehas; des Sohn war Abisua;
50And these are the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,
51des Sohn war Bukki, des Sohn war Usi; des Sohn war Serahja;
51Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,
52des Sohn war Merajoth; des Sohn war Amarja; des Sohn war Ahitob;
52Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,
53des Sohn war Zadok; des Sohn war Ahimaaz.
53Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.
54Und dies ist ihre Wohnung und Sitz in ihren Grenzen, nämlich der Kinder Aaron, des Geschlechts der Kahathiter; denn das Los fiel ihnen zu,
54¶ Now these are their dwelling places throughout their castles in their coasts, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites: for theirs was the lot.
55und sie gaben ihnen Hebron im Lande Juda und desselben Vorstädte umher.
55And they gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, and the suburbs thereof round about it.
56Aber das Feld der Stadt und ihre Dörfer gaben sie Kaleb, dem Sohn Jephunnes.
56But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
57So gaben sie nun den Kinder Aaron die Freistädte Hebron und Libna samt ihren Vorstädten, Jatthir und Esthemoa mit ihren Vorstädten.
57And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of Judah, namely , Hebron, the city of refuge, and Libnah with her suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa, with their suburbs,
58Hilen, Debir,
58And Hilen with her suburbs, Debir with her suburbs,
59Asan und Beth-Semes mit ihren Vorstädten;
59And Ashan with her suburbs, and Beth-shemesh with her suburbs:
60und aus dem Stamm Benjamin: Geba, Alemeth und Anathoth mit ihren Vorstädten, daß aller Städte in ihren Geschlechtern waren dreizehn.
60And out of the tribe of Benjamin; Geba with her suburbs, and Alemeth with her suburbs, and Anathoth with her suburbs. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.
61Aber den Kindern Kahaths nach ihren Geschlechtern wurden durch Los aus dem Stamm Ephraim, aus dem Stamm Dan und aus dem halben Stamm Manasse zehn Städte.
61And unto the sons of Kohath, which were left of the family of that tribe, were cities given out of the half tribe, namely, out of the half tribe of Manasseh, by lot, ten cities.
62Den Kindern Gerson nach ihren Geschlechtern wurden aus dem Stamm Isaschar und aus dem Stamm Asser und aus dem Stamm Naphthali und aus dem Stamm Manasse in Basan dreizehn Städte.
62And to the sons of Gershom throughout their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
63Den Kindern Merari nach ihren Geschlechtern wurden durch das Los aus dem Stamm Ruben und aus dem Stamm Gad und aus dem Stamm Sebulon zwölf Städte.
63Unto the sons of Merari were given by lot, throughout their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
64Und die Kinder Israel gaben den Leviten die Städte mit ihren Vorstädten,
64And the children of Israel gave to the Levites these cities with their suburbs.
65nämlich durchs Los aus dem Stamm der Kinder Juda und aus dem Stamm der Kinder Simeon und aus dem Stamm der Kinder Benjamin die Städte, die sie mit Namen bestimmten.
65And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities, which are called by their names.
66Aber den Geschlechtern der Kinder Kahath wurden Städte ihres Gebietes aus dem Stamm Ephraim.
66And the residue of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their coasts out of the tribe of Ephraim.
67So gaben sie nun ihnen, dem Geschlecht der andern Kinder Kahath, die Freistädte: Sichem auf dem Gebirge Ephraim, Geser,
67And they gave unto them, of the cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim with her suburbs; they gave also Gezer with her suburbs,
68Jokmeam, Beth-Horon,
68And Jokmeam with her suburbs, and Beth-horon with her suburbs,
69Ajalon und Gath-Rimmon mit ihren Vorstädten.
69And Aijalon with her suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbs:
70Dazu aus dem halben Stamm Manasse: Aner und Bileam mit ihren Vorstädten.
70And out of the half tribe of Manasseh; Aner with her suburbs, and Bileam with her suburbs, for the family of the remnant of the sons of Kohath.
71Aber den Kindern Gerson gaben sie aus dem Geschlecht des halben Stammes Manasse: Golan in Basan und Astharoth mit ihren Vorstädten.
71Unto the sons of Gershom were given out of the family of the half tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, and Ashtaroth with her suburbs:
72Aus dem Stamm Isaschar: Kedes, Dabrath,
72And out of the tribe of Issachar; Kedesh with her suburbs, Daberath with her suburbs,
73Ramoth und Anem mit ihren Vorstädten.
73And Ramoth with her suburbs, and Anem with her suburbs:
74Aus dem Stamm Asser: Masal, Abdon,
74And out of the tribe of Asher; Mashal with her suburbs, and Abdon with her suburbs,
75Hukok und Rehob mit ihren Vorstädten.
75And Hukok with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs:
76Aus dem Stamm Naphthali: Kedes in Galiläa, Hammon und Kirjathaim mit ihren Vorstädten.
76And out of the tribe of Naphtali; Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, and Hammon with her suburbs, and Kirjathaim with her suburbs.
77Den andern Kindern Merari gaben sie aus dem Stamm Sebulon: Rimmono und Thabor mit ihren Vorstädten;
77Unto the rest of the children of Merari were given out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmon with her suburbs, Tabor with her suburbs:
78und jenseit des Jordans gegenüber Jericho, gegen der Sonne Aufgang am Jordan, aus dem Stamm Ruben: Bezer in der Wüste, Jahza,
78And on the other side Jordan by Jericho, on the east side of Jordan, were given them out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with her suburbs, and Jahzah with her suburbs,
79Kedemoth und Mephaat mit ihren Vorstädten.
79Kedemoth also with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs:
80Aus dem Stamm Gad: Ramoth in Gilead, Mahanaim,
80And out of the tribe of Gad; Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, and Mahanaim with her suburbs,
81Hesbon und Jaser mit ihren Vorstädten.
81And Heshbon with her suburbs, and Jazer with her suburbs.
