1Von den Ordnungen der Torhüter. Unter den Korahitern war Meselemja, der Sohn Kores, aus den Kindern Asaph.
1For the divisions of the doorkeepers: of the Korahites, Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.
2Die Kinder Meselemjas waren diese: der Erstgeborene: Sacharja, der zweite: Jediael, der dritte: Sebadja, der vierte: Jathniel,
2Meshelemiah had sons: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,
3der fünfte: Elam, der sechste: Johanan, der siebente: Eljoenai.
3Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, and Eliehoenai the seventh.
4Die Kinder aber Obed-Edoms waren diese: der Erstgeborene: Semaja, der zweite: Josabad, der dritte: Joah, der vierte: Sachar, der fünfte: Nathanael,
4Obed-Edom had sons: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, Sacar the fourth, Nethanel the fifth,
5der sechste: Ammiel, der siebente: Isaschar, der achte: Pegulthai; denn Gott hatte ihn gesegnet.
5Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, and Peullethai the eighth; for God blessed him.
6Und seinem Sohn Semaja wurden auch Söhne geboren, die im Hause ihres Vaters herrschten; denn es waren tüchtige Leute.
6Sons were also born to Shemaiah his son, who ruled over the house of their father; for they were mighty men of valor.
7So waren nun die Kinder Semajas: Othni, Rephael, Obed und Elsabad, dessen Brüder tüchtige Leute waren, Elihu und Samachja.
7The sons of Shemaiah: Othni, Rephael, Obed, and Elzabad, whose relatives were valiant men, Elihu, and Semachiah.
8Diese waren alle aus den Kindern Obed-Edoms; sie samt ihren Kindern und Brüdern, tüchtige Leute, geschickt zu Ämtern, waren zweiundsechzig von Obed-Edom.
8All these were of the sons of Obed-Edom with their sons and their brothers, able men in strength for the service: sixty-two of Obed-Edom.
9Meselemja hatte Kinder und Brüder, tüchtige Männer, achtzehn.
9Meshelemiah had sons and brothers, eighteen valiant men.
10Hosa aber aus den Kindern Meraris hatte Kinder: den Vornehmsten: Simri (denn der Erstgeborene war er nicht, aber sein Vater setzte ihn zum Vornehmsten),
10Also Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons: Shimri the chief (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him chief),
11den zweiten: Hilkia, den dritten: Tebalja, den vierten: Sacharja. Aller Kinder und Brüder Hosas waren dreizehn.
11Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, and Zechariah the fourth. All the sons and brothers of Hosah were thirteen.
12Dies sind die Ordnungen der Torhüter nach den Häuptern der Männer im Amt neben ihren Brüdern, zu dienen im Hause des HERRN.
12Of these were the divisions of the doorkeepers, even of the chief men, having offices like their brothers, to minister in the LORD’s house.
13Und das Los ward geworfen, dem Jüngeren wie dem Älteren, unter ihren Vaterhäusern zu einem jeglichen Tor.
13They cast lots, the small as well as the great, according to their fathers’ houses, for every gate.
14Das Los gegen Morgen fiel auf Meselemja; aber sein Sohn war Sacharja, der ein kluger Rat war, warf man auch das Los, und es fiel ihm gegen Mitternacht,
14The lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counselor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.
15Obed-Edom aber gegen Mittag und seinen Söhnen bei dem Vorratshause,
15To Obed-Edom southward; and to his sons the storehouse.
16und Suppim und Hosa gegen Abend bei dem Tor Salecheth, da man die Straße hinaufgeht, da eine Hut neben der andern steht.
16To Shuppim and Hosah westward, by the gate of Shallecheth, at the causeway that goes up, watchman opposite watchman.
17Gegen Morgen waren der Leviten sechs, gegen Mitternacht des Tages vier, gegen Mittag des Tages vier, bei dem Vorratshause aber je zwei und zwei,
17Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and for the storehouse two and two.
18am Parbar aber gegen Abend vier an der Straße und zwei am Parbar.
18For Parbar westward, four at the causeway, and two at Parbar.
19Dies sind die Ordnungen der Torhüter unter den Kindern der Korahiter und den Kindern Merari.
19These were the divisions of the doorkeepers; of the sons of the Korahites, and of the sons of Merari.
20Von den Leviten aber war Ahia über die Schätze des Hauses Gottes und über die Schätze, die geheiligt wurden.
20Of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasures of God’s house and over the treasures of the dedicated things.
21Von den Kindern Laedan, den Kindern des Gersoniten Laedan, waren Häupter der Vaterhäuser die Jehieliten.
21The sons of Ladan, the sons of the Gershonites belonging to Ladan, the heads of the fathers’ households belonging to Ladan the Gershonite: Jehieli.
22Die Kinder der Jehieliten waren: Setham und sein Bruder Joel über die Schätze des Hauses des HERRN.
22The sons of Jehieli: Zetham, and Joel his brother, over the treasures of the LORD’s house.
23Unter den Amramiten, Jizhariten, Hebroniten und Usieliten
23Of the Amramites, of the Izharites, of the Hebronites, of the Uzzielites:
24war Sebuel, der Sohn Gersoms, des Sohnes Mose's, Fürst über die Schätze.
24Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was ruler over the treasuries.
25Aber sein Bruder Elieser hatte einen Sohn, Rehabja; des Sohn war Jesaja; des Sohn war Joram; des Sohn war Sichri; des Sohn war Selomith.
25His brothers: of Eliezer, Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son.
26Derselbe Selomith und seine Brüder waren über alle Schätze des Geheiligten, welches geheiligt hatte der König David und die Häupter der Vaterhäuser, die Obersten über tausend und über hundert und die Obersten im Heer.
26This Shelomoth and his brothers were over all the treasuries of the dedicated things, which David the king, and the heads of the fathers’ households, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the army, had dedicated.
27(Von Krieg und Raub hatten sie es geheiligt, zu bessern das Haus des HERRN.)
27They dedicated some of the plunder won in battles to repair the LORD’s house.
28Auch alles, was Samuel, der Seher, und Saul, der Sohn des Kis, und Abner, der Sohn des Ners, und Joab, der Zeruja Sohn, geheiligt hatten, alles Geheiligte war unter der Hand Selomiths und seiner Brüder.
28All that Samuel the seer, Saul the son of Kish, Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah had dedicated, whoever had dedicated anything, it was under the hand of Shelomoth and of his brothers.
29Unter den Jizhariten waren Chenanja und seine Söhne zum Werk draußen über Israel Amtleute und Richter.
29Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were appointed to the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.
30Unter den Hebroniten aber waren Hasabja und seine Brüder, tüchtige Leute, tausend und siebenhundert, über die Ämter Israels diesseits des Jordans gegen Abend, zu allerlei Geschäft des HERRN und zu dienen dem König.
30Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brothers, one thousand seven hundred men of valor, had the oversight of Israel beyond the Jordan westward, for all the business of the LORD and for the service of the king.
31Unter den Hebroniten war Jeria, der Vornehmste unter den Hebroniten seines Geschlechts unter den Vaterhäusern (es wurden aber unter ihnen gesucht und gefunden im vierzigsten Jahr des Königreiches Davids tüchtige Männer zu Jaser in Gilead),
31Of the Hebronites, Jerijah was the chief of the Hebronites, according to their generations by fathers’ households. They were sought for in the fortieth year of the reign of David, and mighty men of valor were found among them at Jazer of Gilead.
32und seine Brüder, tüchtige Männer, zweitausend und siebenhundert Oberste der Vaterhäuser. Und David setzte sie über die Rubeniter, Gaditer und den halben Stamm Manasse zu allen Händeln Gottes und des Königs.
32His relatives, men of valor, were two thousand seven hundred, heads of fathers’ households, whom King David made overseers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of the Manassites, for every matter pertaining to God and for the affairs of the king.
