1Nebudeš vynášeti pověsti lživé. Neklaď s bezbožným ruky své, abys měl býti s ním svědek nepravý.
1Thou shalt not utter a false report; put not thy hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
2Nepostoupíš po množství ke zlému, a nebudeš se přimlouvati k rozepři, tak abys se uchýlil po větším počtu k převrácení soudu.
2Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou bear witness in a cause to turn aside after a multitude to pervert justice;
3Ani chudého šanovati nebudeš v při jeho.
3neither shalt thou favour a poor man in his cause.
4Trefil-li bys na vola nepřítele svého neb osla jeho, an bloudí, obrátíš a dovedeš ho k němu.
4If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.
5Uzřel-li bys an osel toho, jenž tě má v nenávisti, leží pod břemenem svým, zdaž se zdržíš, abys mu neměl pomoci? Nýbrž opravdově pomůžeš jemu, spolu s tím, kdož tě v nenávisti má.
5If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under its burden, thou shalt forbear to pass by him; thou shalt surely release it with him.
6Nepřevrátíš soudu chudého svého v jeho při.
6Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.
7Od slova lživého vzdálíš se. Nevinného a spravedlivého nezabiješ, nebo já neospravedlním bezbožného.
7Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not; for I will not justify the wicked.
8Aniž bráti budeš darů, nebo dar oslepuje i prozřetelné, a převrací slova spravedlivých.
8And thou shalt take no gift; for a gift blindeth them that have sight, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
9Příchozího nebudeš ssužovati; nebo sami znáte, jaký jest život příchozích, poněvadž pohostinu jste byli v zemi Egyptské.
9And a stranger shalt thou not oppress; for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
10Po šest let osívati budeš zemi svou, a shromažďovati úrodu její;
10And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and gather in the increase thereof;
11Sedmého pak léta ponecháš jí, ať odpočine, aby jedli chudí lidu tvého. Co pak zůstane po nich, pojí zvěř polní. Tak uděláš s vinicí svou i s olivovím svým.
11but the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie fallow, that the poor of thy people may eat; and what they leave the beast of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.
12Šest dní budeš dělati díla svá, dne pak sedmého přestaneš, aby odpočinul vůl tvůj i osel tvůj, a oddechl syn děvky tvé i příchozí.
12Six days thou shalt do thy work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest; that thine ox and thine ass may have rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.
13Ve všech těch věcech, kteréž mluvil jsem vám, ostříhati se budete. Jména bohů cizích ani připomínati nebudete, aniž bude slyšáno z úst tvých.
13And in all things that I have said unto you take ye heed; and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.
14Třikrát slaviti mi budeš svátek na každý rok.
14Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto Me in the year.
15Slavnosti přesnic ostříhati budeš. Sedm dní jísti budeš chleby přesné, jakž jsem přikázal tobě, v čas vyměřený měsíce Abib; nebo v ten vyšel jsi z Egypta. Aniž se ukážete přede mnou prázdní.
15The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep; seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, at the time appointed in the month Abib — for in it thou camest out from Egypt; and none shall appear before Me empty;
16A držeti budeš slavnost žně, když mi obětovati budeš prvotiny prací svých z toho, což jsi vsel na poli. Slavnost také sklizení držeti budeš při vyjití roku, když sklidíš práce své z pole.
16and the feast of harvest, the first-fruits of thy labours, which thou sowest in the field; and the feast of ingathering, at the end of the year, when thou gatherest in thy labours out of the field.
17Třikrát v roce ukáže se každý z tvých pohlaví mužského před tváří Panovníka Hospodina.
17Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.
18Nebudeš obětovati krve z oběti mé, dokavadž u tebe kvas jest, aniž zůstane tuk slavnosti mé do jitra.
18Thou shalt not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of My feast remain all night until the morning.
19Prvotiny prvních úrod země své přinášeti budeš do domu Hospodina Boha svého. Nebudeš vařiti kozelce v mléku mateře jeho.
19The choicest first-fruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in its mother's milk.
20Aj, já pošli anděla před tebou, aby ostříhal tebe na cestě, a přivedl tě na místo, kteréž jsem připravil.
20Behold, I send an angel before thee, to keep thee by the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
21Šetrně se měj před ním, a poslouchej hlasu jeho. Nepopouzej ho, neboť nepromine přestoupení vašeho, poněvadž jméno mé jest u prostřed něho.
21Take heed of him, and hearken unto his voice; be not rebellious against him; for he will not pardon your transgression; for My name is in him.
22Nebo budeš-li věrně poslouchati hlasu jeho, a činiti, cožť bych koli řekl: tedy nepřítelem budu nepřátel tvých, a trápiti budu ty, jenž tebe trápí.
22But if thou shalt indeed hearken unto his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
23Nebo půjde anděl můj před tebou, a uvede tě do země Amorejského a Hetejského, Ferezejského a Kananejského, Hevejského a Jebuzejského, kteréž vyhladím.
23For Mine angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Canaanite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite; and I will cut them off.
24Nebudeš se klaněti bohům jejich, ani jim sloužiti, aniž dělati budeš tak, jako oni dělají; ale z gruntu vyvrátíš je, a obrazy jejich na kusy stroskoceš.
24Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their doings; but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and break in pieces their pillars.
25Sloužiti pak budete Hospodinu Bohu svému, a požehnáť chlebu tvému i vodám tvým; a odejmu nemoc z prostředku tvého.
25And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
26Nebudeť, která by potratila, ani neplodná v zemi tvé; počet dnů tvých doplním.
26None shall miscarry, nor be barren, in thy land; the number of thy days I will fulfil.
27Strach svůj pustím před tebou, a předěsím všeliký lid, proti kterémuž vyjdeš, a způsobím to, aby všickni nepřátelé tvoji utíkali před tebou.
27I will send My terror before thee, and will discomfit all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.
28Pošli i sršně před tebou, aby vyhnali Hevea, a Kananea a Hetea před tváří tvou.
28And I will send the hornet before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
29Nevyženu ho od tváři tvé v jednom roce, aby se země neobrátila v poušť, a nerozmnožily se proti tobě šelmy divoké.
29I will not drive them out from before thee in one year, lest the land become desolate, and the beasts of the field multiply against thee.
30Pomalu vyháněti jej budu od tváři tvé, až bys ty se rozplodil, a dědičně mohl ujíti zemi.
30By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.
31Položím pak meze tvé od moře Rudého až k moři Filistinskému, a od pouště až k řece; nebo v ruce vaše dám obyvatele země, a vyženeš je od tváři své.
31And I will set thy border from the Red Sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness unto the River; for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
32Neučiníš s nimi a bohy jejich smlouvy.
32Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
33Nebudou bydliti v zemi tvé, aby nepřipravili tě k hříchu proti mně, když bys ctil bohy jejich; nebo by to bylo tobě osídlem.
33They shall not dwell in thy land — lest they make thee sin against Me, for thou wilt serve their gods — for they will be a snare unto thee.
