Berean Standard Bible
1Sardi ah kaom van kami kricaabu khaeah hae tiah tarik ah; Sithaw Muithla sarihto hoi cakaeh sarihto katawn Anih mah hae loknawk hae thuih; na sak ih toknawk to ka panoek; nang loe ahmin amthanghaih hoiah na hing, toe na duek.
1“To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of the One who holds the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation for being alive, yet you are dead.
2Angthawk ah loe kadueh tom, kanghmat hmuennawk to thacaksak ah, Sithaw hmaa ah kakoep tok na sakhaih to ka hnu ai.
2Wake up and strengthen what remains, which was about to die; for I have found your deeds incomplete in the sight of My God.
3To pongah na talawk moe, na thaih ih hmuen to pahnet hmah; kacakah patawnh loe, dawnpakhuem ah. Nang lawt ai nahaeloe, kamqu baktiah nang khaeah kang zoh han, natuek naah maw kang zoh han, tito na panoek mak ai.
3Remember, then, what you have received and heard. Keep it and repent. If you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know the hour when I will come upon you.
4Nangcae Sardis kricaabu thungah angmacae ih kahni amhnongsak ai kami zetta oh o vop; nihcae loe kahni kanglung angkhuk han krak pongah, kai hoi nawnto caeh o tih.
4But you do have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their garments, and because they are worthy, they will walk with Me in white.
5Pazawk kami loe kahni kanglung to angkhuk tih; hinghaih cabu thung hoiah anih ih ahmin to ka phrae mak ai; toe kam Pa hoi Angmah ih vankaminawk hmaa ah anih ih ahmin to ka taphong pae han.
5Like them, he who overcomes will be dressed in white. And I will never blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and His angels.
6Naa tawn kami loe, Muithla mah kricaabunawk khaeah thuih ih lok to tahngai nasoe.
6He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
7Philadelphia ah kaom vankami kricaabu khaeah hae tiah tarik ah; Kaciim kami, katoeng kami, David ih cabi sin kami, Anih mah paongh naah, mi mah doeh khaa thai ai; Anih mah khah naah, mi mah doeh paong thai ai kami mah, hae loknawk hae thuih;
7To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of the One who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open.
8na sak ih toknawk to ka panoek: khenah, mi mah doeh khah thaih han ai ah, na hmaa ah kamong khongkha to kang suek pae: tha na cak ai, toe Ka lok hae na pakuem moe, Ka hmin hae na pahnawt sut ai.
8I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door, which no one can shut. For you have only a little strength, yet you have kept My word and have not denied My name.
9Khenah, Judah kami ai to mah Judah kami ah angsahcop, lok amlai kaminawk to Seneko ah kaom Setan ah ka sak han. Khenah, nihcae to nangcae khaeah kang zohsak moe, nangcae khokkung ah cangkrawn hoiah ka boksak han; to naah ni nangcae kang palung, tito nihcae mah panoek o tih.
9Look at those who belong to the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews but are liars instead. I will make them come and bow down at your feet, and they will know that I love you.
10Ka paek ih lok to palungsawkhaih hoiah na pakuem pongah, long ah kaom kaminawk to tanoek hanah, long pum ah kaom hankoi patangkhanghaih atue thungah nang to kang pakaa toeng han.
10Because you have kept My command to persevere, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
11Khenah, kang zoh palang han: mi mah doeh na angraeng lumuek lomh thai han ai ah, na tawn ih hmuen to kacakah patawn ah.
11I am coming soon. Hold fast to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
12Pazawk kami loe ka Sithaw ih tempul homh ah ka sak han, anih loe tasa bang tacawt mak ai boeh: a nuiah Ka Sithaw ih ahmin, Ka Sithaw khae hoi van hoiah angzo tathuk, Jerusalem kangtha, Ka Sithaw ih vangpui ahmin to Ka tarik han: kangtha kaimah ih ahmin to anih nuiah Ka tarik han.
12The one who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will never again leave it. Upon him I will write the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God (the new Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from My God), and My new name.
13Naa tawn kami loe, Muithla mah kricaabunawk khaeah thuih ih lok to tahngai nasoe.
13He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
14Laodicia ah kaom van kami kricaabu khaeah hae tiah tarik ah; oep kathok, Loktang hnukung, Sithaw hmuen sak Amtonghaih, Amen, tiah kaom Anih mah hae loknawk hae thuih;
14To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Originator of God’s creation.
15na sak ih toknawk to ka panoek, nang loe kangqai doeh na ai, kabae doeh na ai: kangqai ah maw, to tih ai boeh loe kabae ah maw na oh han ka koehhaih oh.
15I know your deeds; you are neither cold nor hot. How I wish you were one or the other!
16Nang loe kangqai doeh na ai, kabae doeh na ai, kabae um ah na oh pongah, ka pakha thung hoi kang pathak ving han.
16So because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to vomit you out of My mouth!
17You say, ‘I am rich; I have grown wealthy and need nothing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked.
18nang raeng thai hanah, kai khae ih hmai hoi atui pacii tangcae sui kaciim to qan ah; azat kaom bangkrai ah na ohhaih to padap hanah, kahni kanglung to qan ah; na mik amtueng hanah mik tasi to angnok ah, tiah poekhaih kang paek.
18I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, white garments so that you may be clothed and your shameful nakedness not exposed, and salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see.
19Palung ih kaminawk to ka zoeh moe, ka thuitaek: to pongah poek het ah loe, dawnpakhuem ah.
19Those I love, I rebuke and discipline. Therefore be earnest and repent.
20Khenah, thok taengah kang doet moe, ka takhuek: mi kawbaktih doeh ka lok to thaih moe, thok to paong nahaeloe, anih ohhaih thungah ka kun moe, anih hoi nawnto buh ka caak han, anih doeh kai hoi nawnto caa toeng tih.
20Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me.
21Kai loe pazawkkung ah ka oh boeh, Angmah ih angraeng tangkhang nuiah Kam Pa hoi nawnto kang hnut hoi baktih toengah, pazawk kami loe Kaimah ih angraeng tangkhang pongah Kai hoi nawnto anghnut thaihaih ka paek han.
21To the one who overcomes, I will grant the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
22Naa tawn kami loe Muithla mah kricaabunawk khaeah thuih ih lok to tahngai nasoe.
22He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
