1Sumboeng baktih kaom thingboeng maeto kai han ang paek: kangdoe vankami mah, Angthawk ah loe Sithaw ih tempul hoi hmaicam to tah ah, Sithaw bok kaminawk to kroek ah, tiah ang naa.
1Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the number of worshipers there.
2Toe tasa bang ih tempul taeng to loe tah hmah, caehtaak ah; Gentelnawk khaeah ka paek boeh: nihcae mah kaciim vangpui to khrah quipali, hnetto thung khok hoiah atii o tih.
2But exclude the courtyard outside the temple. Do not measure it, because it has been given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for 42 months.
3To pacoengah kai hnukung ah kaom kami hnik khaeah sakthaihaih to ka paek han, nihnik loe buri kahni to angkhuk hoi ueloe, ni sang hatlai hnet, quitarukto thung lok taphong hoi tih.
3And I will empower my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”
4Nihnik loe long Sithaw hmaa ah kangdoe, Olive thingkung hnetto hoi hmaiim hnetto ah oh hoi.
4These witnesses are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.
5Nihnik pakha thung hoi tacawt hmai mah, nihnik raihaih paek a misanawk to paduek boih tih: hae tiah nihnik raihaih paek kami to paduek tih.
5If anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouths and devours their enemies. In this way, anyone who wants to harm them must be killed.
6Nihnik mah lok taphong hoi nathung kho angzoh han ai ah, van thok khah thaihaih akaa a tawnh hoi: a koeh hoi baktiah tui to athii ah angcoeng hoi sak thaih moe, long nuiah nathaih congca oh hoi sak thaih.
6These witnesses have power to shut the sky so that no rain will fall during the days of their prophecy, and power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they wish.
7Nihnik lok taphong hoi pacoengah, kaboeng thai ai longkhaw thung hoiah moi kasan to tacawt tahang ueloe, nihnik to misatuh tih, nihnik to pazawk ueloe, hum tih.
7When the two witnesses have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will wage war with them, and will overpower and kill them.
8Nihnik ih qok to kalen parai vangpui thung ih loklam ah pasongh o tih, to vangpui loe muithla ah Sodom hoi Izip, tiah kawk o; to ahmuen ah ni aicae Angraeng to thinglam pongah takhing o.
8Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city—figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where their Lord was also crucified.
9Kadueh nihnik ih qok to kaminawk, acaengnawk, lok congca apae kaminawk, prae kaminawk boih mah, ni thumto hoi ahap khen o ueloe, nihnik ih qok aphum han pakaa o tih.
9For three and a half days all peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will view their bodies and will not permit them to be laid in a tomb.
10Hae tahmaa hnik mah long nuiah kaom kaminawk to pacaekthlaek hoi pongah, long nuiah kaom kaminawk loe nihnik pongah anghoe o tih, poeknawm o ueloe, maeto hoi maeto tangqum angpat o tih, tiah ang thuih.
10And those who dwell on the earth will gloat over them, and will celebrate and send one another gifts, because these two prophets had tormented them.
11Toe ni thumto pacoeng ahap oh pacoengah loe, Sithaw khae hoi ih hinghaih Muithla to nihnik thungah akun tih, to naah nihnik loe angmah hnik ih khok hoiah angdoe hoi tih; nihnik hnu kaminawk loe paroeai zithaih hoiah om o tih.
11But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered the two witnesses, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell upon those who saw them.
12To naah van hoiah, Haeah angzo tahang ah, tiah kalen parai lok hoiah thuih ih lok to nihnik mah thaih hoi. To naah nihnik loe tamai hoiah van ah dawh hoi tahang; a misanawk mah nihnik to hnuk o.
12And the witnesses heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud as their enemies watched them.
13To nathuem ah kalen parai talihnawhaih to oh moe, vangpui ahmuen hato thungah ahmuen maeto amro, talihhnawh pongah kami sang sarihto duek o: kanghmat kaminawk loe tasoeh takuenhaih hoiah oh o moe, van Sithaw to pakoeh o.
13And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand were killed in the quake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14Khosak kabing hnetto haih loe laemh boeh; khenah, khosak kabing thumto haih angzo palang tih.
14The second woe has passed. Behold, the third woe is coming shortly.
15Sarihto haih vankami mah mongkah ueng naah; van ah kaom kalen parai lok mah, Hae long nui ih praenawk loe aicae ih Angraeng hoi angmah ih Kri prae ah angcoeng boeh; Anih mah dungzan hoi dungzan khoek to uk poe tih boeh, tiah thuih.
15Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and loud voices called out in heaven: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.”
16To pacoengah Sithaw hmaa ah angmacae anghnuthaih tangkhang nuiah kanghnu, saningcoeh pumphae palito kaminawk loe lu takhum o moe, Sithaw to bok o,
16And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God,
17Thacak aw Angraeng Sithaw, kawnhaih lok kang thuih o, Nang loe kaom li, kaom tangcae hoi kaom hankoi ah na oh; kalen parai na thacakhaih hoiah na uk boeh,
17saying: “We give thanks to You, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign.
18prae kaminawk loe palungphui o, palung na phuihaih phak boeh; kadueh kaminawk lokcaekhaih tue to phak boeh, kathoeng kalen, na tamna tahmaanawk, kaciim kaminawk hoi na hmin zithaih tawn kaminawk tangqum na paekhaih atue to phak boeh; long amrosak kaminawk paduekhaih atue to phak boeh, tiah thuih o.
18The nations were enraged, and Your wrath has come. The time has come to judge the dead and to reward Your servants the prophets, as well as the saints and those who fear Your name, both small and great— and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”
19To pacoengah van nuiah Sithaw ih tempul to paongh o, a lokkamhaih thingkhong loe angmah ih tempul thungah oh: to ahmuen ah tangphra puekhaih, khopazih tuen hoi atuennawk, talihhnawhaih hoi kalen parai qaetui krakhaihnawk to oh.
19Then the temple of God in heaven was opened, and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple. And there were flashes of lightning, and rumblings, and peals of thunder, and an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.
