Douay-Rheims Bible, American Edition (1899)
1Ka khet naah, Zion mae nuiah angdoe Tuuca to ka hnuk, nihcae ih lu pataeh ah Anih ih Ampa hmin kangrik, Anih hoi nawnto kaom kaminawk loe sing ha, sing pali, sang palito oh o.
1And I beheld, and lo a lamb stood upon mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty-four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads.
2To naah van hoiah pop parai tui tuen baktih, kalen parai khopazih tuen baktih lok to ka thaih: katoeng kruek kaminawk mah kruek o ih katoeng tuen baktih atuen to ka thaih.
2And I heard a voice from heaven, as the noise of many waters, and as the voice of great thunder; and the voice which I heard, was as the voice of harpers, harping on their harps.
3Nihcae loe angraeng tangkhang hmaa ah, sak ih kahing hmuen palitonawk hmaa hoi saningcoeh kaminawk hmaa ah laa kangtha to sak o: long hoiah akrang ih kami sing ha, sing pali, sang palito khue mah ai ah loe, mi mah doeh to laa to sah o thai ai.
3And they sung as it were a new canticle, before the throne, and before the four living creatures, and the ancients; and no man could say the canticle, but those hundred forty-four thousand, who were purchased from the earth.
4Hae kaminawk loe nongpatanawk hoi zaehaih sah vai ai; kacuem kami ah oh o. Hae kaminawk loe Tuucaa caehhaih ahmuen kruekah bang kami ah oh o. Hae kaminawk loe kaminawk thung hoi akrangh ih kami ah oh o moe, Sithaw hoi Tuucaa khaeah kathai hmaloe thingthai ah oh o.
4These are they who were not defiled with women: for they are virgins. These follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were purchased from among men, the firstfruits to God and to the Lamb:
5Nihcae loe Sithaw ih angraeng tangkhang hmaa ah sakpazaehaih tawn o ai: pakha ah alinghaih lok om ai.
5And in their mouth there was found no lie; for they are without spot before the throne of God.
6To pacoengah van um ah kazawk kalah vankami maeto ka hnuk, anih loe long nuiah kaom prae kaminawk, acaengnawk, lok congca apae kaminawk boih khaeah taphong han ih dungzan ah kahoih tamthanglok to tawnh,
6And I saw another angel flying through the midst of heaven, having the eternal gospel, to preach unto them that sit upon the earth, and over every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people:
7Anih mah lokcaekhaih atue to phak boeh pongah, Sithaw to zii oh loe, a lensawkhaih to pakoeh oh: van hoi long, tuipui hoi tuibapnawk boih Sahkung to bok oh, tiah tha hoi a hang.
7Saying with a loud voice: Fear the Lord, and give him honour, because the hour of his judgment is come; and adore ye him, that made heaven and earth, the sea, and the fountains of waters.
8Kalah vankami maeto mah, Amtimh boeh, Babylon vangpui loe amtimh boeh, hae vangpui mah prae kaminawk to misurtui paquisak moe, nongpa nongpata zaehaih thungah amtimsak boih boeh. Sithaw palungphui pongah Babylon vangpui loe amtim boeh, tiah thuih.
8And another angel followed, saying: That great Babylon is fallen, is fallen; which made all nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
9Thumto haih vankami mah nihcae to patom moe, Mi kawbaktih doeh moisan hoi anih ih krang to bok moe, lu pataeh ah maw, to tih ai boeh loe ban ah maw, anih ih catui daenghaih tawn kami loe,
9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice: If any man shall adore the beast and his image, and receive his character in his forehead, or in his hand;
10Sithaw palungphuihaih kakoi ah lawn ih boengloeng, Anih palungphuihaih misurtui to nae o toeng tih; Tuucaa hoi kaciim vankaminawk hmaa ah, anih to kamngaeh kaat hmai hoiah pacaekthlaek tih.
10He also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mingled with pure wine in the cup of his wrath, and shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the sight of the holy angels, and in the sight of the Lamb.
11Nihcae pacaekthlaekhaih kaat hmaikhue loe, dungzan hoi dungzan khoek to khue tahang tih: moisan hoi anih ih krang bok kami, anih in catui daenghaih tawn kaminawk loe, aqum athun anghakhaih om mak ai, tiah tha hoi a hang.
11And the smoke of their torments shall ascend up for ever and ever: neither have they rest day nor night, who have adored the beast, and his image, and whoever receiveth the character of his name.
12Haeah Sithaw mah paek ih lok pakuem kami hoi Jesu tanghaih tawn kaminawk loe palungsawkhaih tawnh han angaih.
12Here is the patience of the saints, who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
13To pacoengah van bang hoiah lok maeto ka thaih, kai khaeah, Vaihi hoi kamtong Angraeng ah dueh kaminawk loe tahamhoih o, tiah tarik ah, tiah thuih ih lok to ka thaih: ue, nihcae loe a sak o ih karai tok hoiah anghak o tih boeh, a sak o ih toknawk mah nihcae to patom tih, tiah Muithla mah thuih.
13And I heard a voice from heaven, saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead, who die in the Lord. From henceforth now, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; for their works follow them.
14Ka khet naah, kanglung tamai to ka hnuk, kami Capa baktih Maeto loe, a lu ah sui lumuek maeto angmuek, a ban ah kanoe cakra to sinh moe, tamai nuiah anghnut.
14And I saw, and behold a white cloud; and upon the cloud one sitting like to the Son of man, having on his head a crown of gold, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

15And another angel came out from the temple crying with a loud voice to him that sat upon the cloud: Thrust in thy sickle, and reap, because the hour is come to reap: for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16Tamai kanglung nuiah anghnu kami loe, cakra to long nuiah quk tathuk moe, long ih cang to aah.
16And he that sat on the cloud thrust his sickle into the earth, and the earth was reaped.
17Van ah kaom tempul thung hoiah kalah vankami maeto angzoh, anih doeh kanoe cakra maeto sinh toeng.
17And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

18And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire; and he cried with a loud voice to him that had the sharp sickle, saying: Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vineyard of the earth; because the grapes thereof are ripe.
19To naah vankami mah angmah ih cakra to long ah quk tathuk, kangboom misurthaih to aah moe, Sithaw palungphuihaih kalen misurtui pasawhhaih akhaw thungah vah tathuk.
19And the angel thrust in his sharp sickle into the earth, and gathered the vineyard of the earth, and cast it into the great press of the wrath of God:
20Misurthaih pasawhhaih loe vangpui tasa bangah oh moe, misurtui to khok hoiah atit o; to naah misur pasawhhaih ahmuen hoiah hrang tahmawh moemhaih khoek to kasang ah, farlong sang cumvai tarukto karoek to athii to longh.
20And the press was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the press, up to the horses’ bridles, for a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
