1Moab kawng pongah thuih ih lok loe, Moab prae ih Ar avang loe qumto thungah phraek moe, amro boeh! Qumto thungah Moab prae ih Kir avang to phraek moe, amro boeh!
1The burden of Moab. For in the night that Ar of Moab is laid waste, he is brought to ruin; for in the night that Kir of Moab is laid waste, he is brought to ruin.
2Prae kaminawk loe Bajith hoi Dibon vangpui ah caeh o moe, qah hanah hmuensang ah caeh o tahang; Moab kaminawk loe Nebo hoi Medeba nuiah hang o; lu sam to aah o moe, toektaboe mui doeh aah o boih.
2He is gone up to Baith, and to Dibon, to the high places, to weep; upon Nebo, and upon Medeba, Moab howleth; on all their heads is baldness, every beard is shaven.
3Loklamnawk ah kazii to angzaeng o, imphu nui hoi lamkrungnawk ah a hang o moe, tha hoiah qah o.
3In their streets they gird themselves with sackcloth; on their housetops, and in their broad places, every one howleth, weeping profusely.
4Heshbon hoi Elealeh hnik loe qah hoi; nihnik qahhaih lok loe Jahaz hoiah mataeng doeh angthaih: to pongah maiphaw maica hoi amthoep Moab misatuh kaminawk doeh, zithaih hoiah qah o toeng.
4And Heshbon crieth out, and Elealeh; their voice is heard even unto Jahaz; therefore the armed men of Moab cry aloud; his soul is faint within him.
5Ka palung mah Moab to qah haih, kacawn kaminawk loe saning thumto kaom maitaw tala baktiah Zoar vangpui karoek to cawnh o; qahhaih hoiah Luhith mae nuiah a dawh o tahang; Horonaim caehhaih loklam bangah doeh amrohaih lok to oh.
5My heart crieth out for Moab; her fugitives reach unto Zoar, a heifer of three years old; for by the ascent of Luhith with weeping they go up; for in the way of Horonaim they raise up a cry of destruction.
6Nimrim ih tuinawk loe kang boih boeh, qamnawk doeh zaek o boih boeh; phrohnawk to om ai boeh, kahing phroh roe om ai boeh.
6For the Waters of Nimrim shall be desolate; for the grass is withered away, the herbage faileth, there is no green thing.
7To pongah Moab kaminawk loe a tawnh o ih hmuennawk hoi patung o ih hmuenmaenawk to kazam phroh kung ohhaih Arabia azawn bangah phaw o ving tih.
7Therefore the abundance they have gotten, and that which they have laid up, shall they carry away to the brook of the willows.
8Nihcae qahhaih lok loe Moab ramri khoek to amsongh; nihcae qahhaih lok loe Eglaim khoek to angthaih, palungset qahhaih lok loe Beer-Elim khoek to amthang.
8For the cry is gone round about the borders of Moab; the howling thereof unto Eglaim, and the howling thereof unto Beer-elim.
9Dimon ih tuinawk loe athii hoiah koi: toe kanung aep hmuen to Dimon vangpui nuiah ka sak han vop, Moab hoiah kaloih kami hoi anghmat kaminawk khaeah kaipui to ka patoeh han.
9For the waters of Dimon are full of blood; for I will bring yet more upon Dimon, a lion upon him that escapeth of Moab, and upon the remnant of the land.
