Psalms 127

Berean Standard Bible
Asang Khongca Bible (Eastern Khumi Chin, 2019)
1Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain; unless the LORD protects the city, its watchmen stand guard in vain.
1Angraeng mah im sah ai nahaeloe, imsahkungnawk loe azom pui ah ni toksak o; Angraeng mah vangpui to toep ai nahaeloe, toepkungnawk loe azom pui ah ni toep o.
2In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for bread to eat— for He gives sleep to His beloved.
2Angsatui hoi buhcaak hanah, khawnthaw ah nang thawk, khoving khoek to anghnut moe, toksakhaih loe azom pui ah ni oh; a palung ih kami khaeah kahnaep ah iihhaih to paek.
3Children are indeed a heritage from the LORD, and the fruit of the womb is His reward.
3Khenah, caa nawktanawk loe Angraeng ih qawk ah oh o moe, zok ih thingthai loe anih mah paek ih tangqum ah ni oh.
4Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are children born in one’s youth.
4Tha oh li naah sak ih caanawk loe, thacak kami ih ban ah kaom palaanawk baktiah oh o.
5Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. He will not be put to shame when he confronts the enemies at the gate.
5Palaa hoi kakoi kalii tabu tawn kami loe tahamhoih; nihcae loe azathaih tongh o mak ai, khongkha ah misanawk to pakaa o thai tih.
