1If only You would rend the heavens and come down, so that mountains would quake at Your presence,
1愿你裂天而降； 愿山在你面前震动—
2as fire kindles the brushwood and causes the water to boil, to make Your name known to Your enemies, so that the nations will tremble at Your presence!
2好像火烧干柴， 又像火将水烧开， 使你敌人知道你的名， 使列国在你面前发颤！
3When You did awesome works that we did not expect, You came down, and the mountains trembled at Your presence.
3你曾行我们不能逆料可畏的事。 那时你降临，山岭在你面前震动。
4From ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides You, who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him.
4从古以来，人未曾听见、未曾耳闻、未曾眼见 在你以外有什么神为等候他的人行事。
5You welcome those who gladly do right, who remember Your ways. Surely You were angry, for we sinned. How can we be saved if we remain in our sins?
5你迎接那欢喜行义、记念你道的人； 你曾发怒，我们 仍 犯罪； 这景况已久，我们还能得救吗？
6Each of us has become like something unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all wither like a leaf, and our iniquities carry us away like the wind.
6我们都像不洁净的人； 所有的义都像污秽的衣服。 我们都像叶子渐渐枯干； 我们的罪孽好像风把我们吹去。
7No one calls on Your name or strives to take hold of You. For You have hidden Your face from us and delivered us into the hand of our iniquity.
7并且无人求告你的名； 无人奋力抓住你。 原来你掩面不顾我们， 使我们因罪孽消化。
8But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand.
8耶和华啊，现在你仍是我们的父！ 我们是泥，你是窑匠； 我们都是你手的工作。
9Do not be angry, O LORD, beyond measure; do not remember our iniquity forever. Oh, look upon us, we pray; we are all Your people!
9耶和华啊，求你不要大发震怒， 也不要永远记念罪孽。 求你垂顾我们， 我们都是你的百姓。
10Your holy cities have become a wilderness. Zion has become a wasteland and Jerusalem a desolation.
10你的圣邑变为旷野。 锡安 变为旷野； 耶路撒冷 成为荒场。
11Our holy and beautiful temple, where our fathers praised You, has been burned with fire, and all that was dear to us lies in ruins.
11我们圣洁华美的殿— 就是我们列祖赞美你的所在被火焚烧； 我们所羡慕的美地尽都荒废。
12After all this, O LORD, will You restrain Yourself? Will You keep silent and afflict us beyond measure?
12耶和华啊，有这些事，你还忍得住吗？ 你仍静默使我们深受苦难吗？
