1Now about the collection for the saints, you are to do as I directed the churches of Galatia:
1περι δε τησ λογιασ τησ εισ τουσ αγιουσ ωσπερ διεταξα ταισ εκκλησιαισ τησ γαλατιασ ουτωσ και υμεισ ποιησατε
2On the first day of every week, each of you should set aside a portion of his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will be needed.
2κατα μιαν σαββατων εκαστοσ υμων παρ εαυτω τιθετω θησαυριζων ο τι αν ευοδωται ινα μη οταν ελθω τοτε λογιαι γινωνται
3Then, on my arrival, I will send letters with those you recommend to carry your gift to Jerusalem.
3οταν δε παραγενωμαι ουσ εαν δοκιμασητε δι επιστολων τουτουσ πεμψω απενεγκειν την χαριν υμων εισ ιερουσαλημ
4And if it is advisable for me to go also, they can travel with me.
4εαν δε η αξιον του καμε πορευεσθαι συν εμοι πορευσονται
5After I go through Macedonia, however, I will come to you; for I will be going through Macedonia.
5ελευσομαι δε προσ υμασ οταν μακεδονιαν διελθω μακεδονιαν γαρ διερχομαι
6Perhaps I will stay with you awhile, or even spend the winter, so that you can help me on my journey, wherever I go.
6προσ υμασ δε τυχον παραμενω η και παραχειμασω ινα υμεισ με προπεμψητε ου εαν πορευωμαι
7For I do not want to see you now only in passing; I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord permits.
7ου θελω γαρ υμασ αρτι εν παροδω ιδειν ελπιζω δε χρονον τινα επιμειναι προσ υμασ εαν ο κυριοσ επιτρεπη
8But I will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost,
8επιμενω δε εν εφεσω εωσ τησ πεντηκοστησ
9because a great door for effective work has opened to me, even though many oppose me.
9θυρα γαρ μοι ανεωγεν μεγαλη και ενεργησ και αντικειμενοι πολλοι
10If Timothy comes, see to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you, for he is doing the work of the Lord, just as I am.
10εαν δε ελθη τιμοθεοσ βλεπετε ινα αφοβωσ γενηται προσ υμασ το γαρ εργον κυριου εργαζεται ωσ και εγω
11No one, then, should treat him with contempt. Send him on his way in peace so that he can return to me, for I am expecting him along with the brothers.
11μη τισ ουν αυτον εξουθενηση προπεμψατε δε αυτον εν ειρηνη ινα ελθη προσ με εκδεχομαι γαρ αυτον μετα των αδελφων
12Now about our brother Apollos: I strongly urged him to go to you with the brothers. He was not at all inclined to go now, but he will go when he has the opportunity.
12περι δε απολλω του αδελφου πολλα παρεκαλεσα αυτον ινα ελθη προσ υμασ μετα των αδελφων και παντωσ ουκ ην θελημα ινα νυν ελθη ελευσεται δε οταν ευκαιρηση
13Be on the alert. Stand firm in the faith. Be men of courage. Be strong.
13γρηγορειτε στηκετε εν τη πιστει ανδριζεσθε κραταιουσθε
14Do everything in love.
14παντα υμων εν αγαπη γινεσθω
15You know that Stephanas and his household were the first converts in Achaia, and they have devoted themselves to the service of the saints. Now I urge you, brothers,
15παρακαλω δε υμασ αδελφοι οιδατε την οικιαν στεφανα οτι εστιν απαρχη τησ αχαιασ και εισ διακονιαν τοισ αγιοισ εταξαν εαυτουσ
16to submit to such as these, and to every fellow worker and laborer.
16ινα και υμεισ υποτασσησθε τοισ τοιουτοισ και παντι τω συνεργουντι και κοπιωντι
17I am glad that Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus have arrived, because they have supplied what was lacking from you.
17χαιρω δε επι τη παρουσια στεφανα και φουρτουνατου και αχαικου οτι το υμων υστερημα ουτοι ανεπληρωσαν
18For they refreshed my spirit and yours as well. Show your appreciation, therefore, to such men.
18ανεπαυσαν γαρ το εμον πνευμα και το υμων επιγινωσκετε ουν τουσ τοιουτουσ
19The churches in the province of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Prisca greet you warmly in the Lord, and so does the church that meets at their house.
19ασπαζονται υμασ αι εκκλησιαι τησ ασιασ ασπαζονται υμασ εν κυριω πολλα ακυλασ και πρισκιλλα συν τη κατ οικον αυτων εκκλησια
20All the brothers here send you greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss.
20ασπαζονται υμασ οι αδελφοι παντεσ ασπασασθε αλληλουσ εν φιληματι αγιω
21This greeting is in my own hand—Paul.
21ο ασπασμοσ τη εμη χειρι παυλου
22If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be under a curse. Come, O Lord!
22ει τισ ου φιλει τον κυριον ιησουν χριστον ητω αναθεμα μαραν αθα
23The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you.
23η χαρισ του κυριου ιησου χριστου μεθ υμων
24My love be with all of you in Christ Jesus. Amen.
24η αγαπη μου μετα παντων υμων εν χριστω ιησου αμην
