1King Ahasuerus laid a tribute on the land and on the islands of the sea.
1ရှင်ဘုရင် အာရွှေရု သည်မြေကြီး ပေါ် ၌၎င်း၊ ပင်လယ် တွင်ရှိသောကျွန်း တို့ပေါ်၌၎င်း ၊ ငွေတော်ခွဲ ကြောင်း အစရှိသော၊
2Aren’t all the acts of his power and of his might, and the full account of the greatness of Mordecai, to which the king advanced him, written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?
2အာဏာ တန်ခိုးတော်နှင့် စီရင်သမျှ သောအမှု အရာများနှင့်တကွ ၊ ချီးမြှောက် တော်မူခြင်းကို ခံရသော မော်ဒကဲ ၏ ဘုန်း တန်ခိုး၊ ထင်ရှားသော အခြင်းအရာတို့သည် မေဒိ ၊ ပေရသိ ရာဇဝင် တို့၌ ရေး ထားလျက် ရှိ၏။
3For Mordecai the Jew was next to King Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews and accepted by the multitude of his brothers, seeking the good of his people and speaking peace to all his descendants.
3ယုဒ အမျိုးသားမော်ဒကဲ သည် ရှင်ဘုရင် အာရွှေရု အောက်၌ အမြတ်ဆုံးသော အရာကိုရ၍ ယုဒ လူတို့တွင် ဘုန်း ကြီး၏။ မိမိ အမျိုး ၏ အကျိုး စီးပွားကို ပြုစု လျက်၊ အမျိုးသား ချင်းအပေါင်း တို့အား မင်္ဂလာ စကားကိုသာ ပြော လျက်၊ မိမိ အမျိုးသား ချင်းအပေါင်း တို့တွင် မျက်နှာ ရသောသူဖြစ် သတည်း။
