1When David was living in his house, David said to Nathan the prophet, “Behold, I live in a cedar house, but the ark of the LORD’s covenant is in a tent.”
1ဒါဝိဒ် မင်းသည် နန်းတော် ၌ ငြိမ်ဝပ်စွာနေ ရသောအခါ ၊ ပရောဖက် နာသန် ကိုခေါ်၍ကြည့်ရှု လော့။ ငါ သည် အာရဇ် သစ်သားအိမ် နှင့် နေ ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ပဋိညာဉ် သေတ္တာ တော်မူကား ကုလားကာ ဖြင့်သာ ကွယ်ကာလျက် နေရသည်ဟုဆို သော်၊
2Nathan said to David, “Do all that is in your heart; for God is with you.”
2နာသန် ကအကြံ တော်ရှိသမျှ အတိုင်း ပြု တော်မူ ပါ။ ဘုရားသခင် သည် ကိုယ်တော် နှင့်အတူ ရှိတော်မူသည် ဟု ပြန်လျှောက် ၏။
3That same night, the word of God came to Nathan, saying,
3ထို ညဉ့် တွင် ဘုရားသခင် ၏နှုတ်ကပတ် တော် သည် ပရောဖက်နာသန် သို့ ရောက် ၍၊
4“Go and tell David my servant, ‘The LORD says, “You shall not build me a house to dwell in;
4ငါ့ ကျွန် ဒါဝိဒ် ထံသို့ သွား လော့။ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊ သင် သည် ငါ နေ စရာဘို့အိမ် ကို မ ဆောက် ရ။
5for I have not lived in a house since the day that I brought up Israel to this day, but have gone from tent to tent, and from one tent to another.
5ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ နှုတ်ဆောင် သော နေ့ ကစ၍ ယနေ့ တိုင်အောင် အိမ် နှင့်ငါမ နေ။ တဲ တခုမှ တခုသို့ ပြောင်း၍ တဲ များတို့နှင့် နေပြီ။
6In all places in which I have walked with all Israel, did I speak a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to be shepherd of my people, saying, ‘Why have you not built me a house of cedar?’”’
6ဣသရေလ အမျိုးအပေါင်း နှင့် ငါလှည့်လည် ရာအရပ် တို့၌ ငါ ၏လူမျိုး ကို ကျွေးမွေး စေခြင်းငှါ ၊ ငါစေခိုင်း သော ဣသရေလ တရားသူကြီး တစုံတယောက် အား ၊ သင်သည် ငါ့ အဘို့ အာရဇ် သစ်သားအိမ် ကို အဘယ်ကြောင့် မ ဆောက် သနည်းဟု ငါဆို ဘူးသလော။
7“Now therefore, you shall tell my servant David, ‘The LORD of Armies says, “I took you from the sheep pen, from following the sheep, to be prince over my people Israel.
7ယခု မှာ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊ သိုးထိန်းရာသိုးခြံ ထဲက သင့် ကို ငါ နှုတ်ယူ ၍၊ ငါ ၏လူ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့ကို အုပ်စိုးသော မင်း အရာ၌ ငါခန့်ထားပြီ။
8I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have cut off all your enemies from before you. I will make you a name like the name of the great ones who are on the earth.
8သင်သွား လေရာရာ ၌ ငါလိုက် ၍ ၊ သင် ၏ရန်သူ အပေါင်း တို့ကို သင့် ရှေ့ မှာ ပယ်ရှား သဖြင့် ၊ မြေကြီး သား လူကြီး ဂုဏ် အသရေကဲ့သို့ သင် ၌ ဂုဏ် အသရေကို ငါပေး ပြီ။
9I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place, and be moved no more. The children of wickedness will not waste them any more, as at the first,
9ထိုမှတပါး ၊ ငါ ၏လူ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးနေရာ အရပ်ကို ငါပြင်ဆင် ပြီ။ သူတို့သည်နောက် တဖန်မ ပြောင်း မလဲ၊ မိမိတို့နေရာ၌ နေ စေခြင်းငှါ ငါမြဲမြံ စေမည်။ မတရား သောသူတို့ သည် ရှေး ကာလ၌ ၎င်း၊
10and from the day that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. I will subdue all your enemies. Moreover I tell you that the LORD will build you a house.
10ငါ ၏လူ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး တရားသူကြီး တို့ကို ခန့်ထား သော ကာလ ၌၎င်း၊ ညှဉ်းဆဲသကဲ့သို့ နောက် တဖန် မ ညှဉ်းဆဲရ။ သင့် ကိုလည်း ရန်သူ အပေါင်း တို့ လက်မှ ကယ်လွှတ်၍ ချမ်းသာပေးပြီ။ သင်၏အမျိုးအနွယ် ကိုလည်း ငါတည် စေမည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူပြီ။
11It will happen, when your days are fulfilled that you must go to be with your fathers, that I will set up your offspring after you, who will be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom.
11သင် သည် အသက် ကာလစေ့ ၍ ဘိုးဘေး နေရာ သို့ သွား ရသောအခါ ၊ သင် မှ ဆင်းသက်သော သားစု တွင်၊ သားတယောက်ကို ငါချီးမြှောက် ၍ သူ ၏နိုင်ငံ ကို တည်ထောင် မည်။
12He will build me a house, and I will establish his throne forever.
12ထိုသား သည်ငါ့ အဘို့ အိမ် ကိုဆောက် လိမ့်မည်။ သူ ထိုင်သော ရာဇပလ္လင် ကိုအစဉ်အမြဲ ငါတည် စေမည်။
13I will be his father, and he will be my son. I will not take my loving kindness away from him, as I took it from him who was before you;
13ငါ သည်သူ ၏ အဘ ဖြစ် မည်။ သူ သည်လည်း ငါ ၏သား ဖြစ် လိမ့်မည်။ သင့် ရှေ့ မှာရှိ သော သူ ၌ ငါ ၏ ကရုဏာ ကို နှုတ် သကဲ့သို့ သင်၏သား၌ ငါမ နှုတ်။
14but I will settle him in my house and in my kingdom forever. His throne will be established forever.”’”
14ထိုသားကိုငါ့ အိမ် ၊ ငါ့ နိုင်ငံ ၌ အစဉ်အမြဲ နေရာ ချမည်။ သူ ၏ ရာဇပလ္လင် သည်လည်း အစဉ်အမြဲ တည် ရ လိမ့်မည်ဟု ငါ့ ကျွန် ဒါဝိဒ် အား ပြော လော့ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ ၏။
15According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so Nathan spoke to David.
15ထို ဗျာဒိတ် တော်စကား အလုံးစုံ တို့ကို နာသန် သည် ဒါဝိဒ် အား ပြန်ပြော လေ၏။
16Then David the king went in and sat before the LORD; and he said, “Who am I, LORD God, and what is my house, that you have brought me this far?
16ထိုအခါ ဒါဝိဒ် မင်းကြီး သည် အထဲသို့ဝင် ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ထိုင် လျက် ၊ အိုထာဝရ အရှင် ဘုရားသခင် ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ဤမျှလောက် ချီးမြှောက်တော်မူ မည်အကြောင်း အကျွန်ုပ် သည် အဘယ်သို့ သောသူဖြစ် ပါသနည်း။ အကျွန်ုပ် အမျိုး သည် အဘယ်သို့ သော အမျိုးဖြစ်ပါသနည်း။
17This was a small thing in your eyes, O God, but you have spoken of your servant’s house for a great while to come, and have respected me according to the standard of a man of high degree, LORD God.
17သို့ရာတွင် အိုဘုရားသခင်၊ ထိုကျေးဇူးတော်ကို သာမညကျေးဇူးဟု ထင်မှတ်တော်မူသောကြောင့်၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကျွန်၏အမျိုးအနွယ်ကို ကြာမြင့်စွာသော ကာလနှင့်ယှဉ်လျက် မိန့်တော်မူပါသည်တကား။ အို ထာဝရအရှင်ဘုရားသခင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ဘုန်းကြီးသော သူကဲ့သို့မှတ်တော်မူပါသည်တကား။
18What can David say yet more to you concerning the honor which is done to your servant? For you know your servant.
18ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် ဒါဝိဒ် သည် ကိုယ်ဘုန်း ကြီးစေခြင်းငှါ ၊ အဘယ်သို့ တိုးတက် ၍ လျှောက်ရပါမည်နည်း။ ကိုယ်တော် သည် ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် ကို သိ တော်မူ၏။
19LORD, for your servant’s sake, and according to your own heart, you have done all this greatness, to make known all these great things.
19အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် အကျိုးကိုထောက်၍ အလို တော်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း ဤ ကြီးစွာ သော အမှုအလုံးစုံ တို့ကို ထင်ရှား စေခြင်းငှါ အလုံးစုံ တို့ကို ပြု တော်မူပြီ။
20LORD, there is no one like you, neither is there any God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
20သို့ဖြစ်၍အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ကြား သမျှ အတိုင်း ကိုယ်တော် နှင့်တူ သောဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော် မှတပါး အခြားသော ဘုရား မည်မျှမ ရှိပါ။
21What one nation on the earth is like your people Israel, whom God went to redeem to himself for a people, to make you a name by great and awesome things, in driving out nations from before your people whom you redeemed out of Egypt?
21အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်မှ ရွေးနှုတ် တော်မူသော ကိုယ်တော် ၏ လူမျိုး ရှေ့ မှလူအမျိုးမျိုးတို့ကို နှင်ထုတ် သဖြင့်၊ ကြီးမြတ် ၍ ကြောက်မက် ဘွယ်သော နာမ တော်ကို ကိုယ်တော် အဘို့ ထင်ရှား စေခြင်းငှါ ၊ ဘုရားသခင် ကြွ ၍ ကိုယ်တော် အဘို့ ရွေးနှုတ် တော်မူသော ကိုယ်တော် ၏လူ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး နှင့်တူ သော လူမျိုး တစုံတမျိုး သည် မြေကြီး ပေါ် မှာ ရှိပါသလော။
22For you made your people Israel your own people forever; and you, LORD, became their God.
22အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ကိုယ်တော် ၏လူ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသည် အစဉ်အမြဲ ကိုယ်တော် ၏လူ ဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှါ ပြု ၍၊ ကိုယ်တော် ထာဝရဘုရား သည်သူ တို့ဘုရားသခင် ဖြစ် တော်မူ၏။
23Now, LORD, let the word that you have spoken concerning your servant, and concerning his house, be established forever, and do as you have spoken.
23ယခု မှာအိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် ၌ ၎င်း ၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကျွန်၏အမျိုးအနွယ် ၌ ၎င်း၊ မိန့် တော်မူသော စကား တော် အစဉ်အမြဲ တည် ပါစေသော။ မိန့် တော်မူသည် အတိုင်း ပြု တော်မူပါ။
24Let your name be established and magnified forever, saying, ‘The LORD of Armies is the God of Israel, even a God to Israel. The house of David your servant is established before you.’
24ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏ဘုရားသခင် ဖြစ်တော်မူသည်ဟူ၍နာမ တော်သည် အစဉ်အမြဲ ချီးမြှောက် ခြင်းရှိမည် အကြောင်း၊ အမိန့်တော်သည် အစဉ်အမြဲတည် ပါစေသော။ ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် ဒါဝိဒ် ၏ အမျိုးအနွယ် သည် ရှေ့ တော်၌ တည် ပါစေသော။
25For you, my God, have revealed to your servant that you will build him a house. Therefore your servant has found courage to pray before you.
25အကြောင်း မူကား၊ အိုကျွန်ုပ် ၏ဘုရားသခင် ၊ ကိုယ်တော်က သင်၏အမျိုးအနွယ် ကို ငါတည် စေမည်ဟု ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် အား ဗျာဒိတ် ပေးတော်မူသောကြောင့်၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကျွန်သည် ရှေ့ တော်၌ ပဌနာ ပြုချင်သောစိတ် ရှိ ပါ၏။
26Now, LORD, you are God, and have promised this good thing to your servant.
26ယခု လည်း အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည် ဘုရားသခင် မှန်တော်မူ၏။ ဤ ကျေးဇူး ကို ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် ၌ ဂတိ ထားတော်မူပြီ။
27Now it has pleased you to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever before you; for you, LORD, have blessed, and it is blessed forever.”
27သို့ဖြစ်၍ ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် ၏ အမျိုးအနွယ် သည် ရှေ့ တော်၌ အစဉ်အမြဲ တည် ပါမည်အကြောင်းကောင်းကြီး ပေးခြင်းငှါ နူးညွတ် သောစိတ် ရှိတော်မူပါ။ အိုထာဝရ ဘုရား ကိုယ်တော် သည်ကောင်းကြီး ပေးတော်မူလျှင်၊ ကောင်းကြီး မင်္ဂလာကို အစဉ်အမြဲ ခံရပါလိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆုတောင်းသတည်း။
