1И опять поднял я глаза мои и вижу: вот, четыре колесницы выходят из ущелья между двумя горами; и горы те были горы медные.
1And again I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between the two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.
2В первой колеснице кони рыжие, а во второй колеснице кони вороные;
2In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;
3в третьей колеснице кони белые, а в четвертой колеснице кони пегие, сильные.
3and in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grizzled bay horses.
4И, начав речь, я сказал Ангелу, говорившему со мною: что это, господин мой?
4Then I answered and said unto the angel that spoke with me: 'What are these, my lord?'
5И отвечал Ангел и сказал мне: это выходят четыре духа небесных, которые предстоят пред Господом всей земли.
5And the angel answered and said unto me: 'These chariots go forth to the four winds of heaven, after presenting themselves before the Lord of all the earth.
6Вороные кони там выходят к стране северной, и белые идут за ними, а пегие идут к стране полуденной.
6That wherein are the black horses goeth forth toward the north country; and the white went forth after them; and the grizzled went forth toward the south country;
7И сильные вышли и стремились идти, чтобы пройти землю; и он сказал: идите, пройдите землю,- и они прошли землю.
7and the bay went forth'. And they sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth; and he said: 'Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth.' So they walked to and fro through the earth.
8Тогда позвал он меня и сказал мне так: смотри, вышедшие в землю северную успокоили дух Мой на земле северной.
8Then cried he upon me, and spoke unto me, saying: 'Behold, they that go toward the north country have eased My spirit in the north country.'
9И было слово Господне ко мне:
9And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
10возьми у пришедших из плена, у Хелдая, у Товии и у Иедая, и пойди в тот самый день, пойди в дом Иосии, сына Софониева, куда они пришли из Вавилона,
10'Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah, that are come from Babylon; and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah;
11возьми у них серебро и золото и сделай венцы, и возложи на голову Иисуса, сына Иоседекова, иерея великого,
11yea, take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set the one upon the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;
12и скажи ему: так говорит Господь Саваоф: вот Муж,- имя Ему ОТРАСЛЬ, Он произрастет из Своего корня и создаст храм Господень.
12and speak unto him, saying: Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying: Behold, a man whose name is the Shoot, and who shall shoot up out of his place, and build the temple of the LORD;
13Он создаст храм Господень и примет славу, и воссядет, и будет владычествовать на престоле Своем; будет и священником на престоле Своем, и совет мира будет между тем и другим.
13even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and there shall be a priest before his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
14А венцы те будут Хелему и Товии, Иедаю и Хену, сыну Софониеву, на память в храме Господнем.
14And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, as a memorial in the temple of the LORD.
15И издали придут, и примут участие в построении храма Господня, и вы узнаете, что Господь Саваоф послал меня к вам, и это будет, если вы усердно будете слушаться гласа Господа Бога вашего.
15And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD, and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. And it shall come to pass, if ye will diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD your God — .'
