1ယောသပ် အမျိုး ဖြစ်သော မနာရှေ နှင့် မာခိရ တို့ မှ ဆင်းသက်သော ဂိလဒ် ၏သား အဆွေအမျိုး သူကြီး တို့သည်၊ မောရှေ အစရှိသော ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား အဆွေအမျိုး သူကြီးတို့ထံသို့ လာ၍၊
1And the princes of the families of Galaad, the son of Machir, the son of Manasses, of the stock Of the children of Joseph, came and spoke to Moses before the princes of Israel, and said:
2အကျွန်ုပ် တို့သခင် သည် စာရေးတံချ သဖြင့်၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား တို့အား ခါနာန်ပြည် ကို အမွေ ပေး စေခြင်းငှါ ၎င်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့အစ်ကို ဇလောဖဒ် ၏ အမွေ မြေကို သူ ၏သမီး တို့အား ပေး စေခြင်းငှါ ၎င်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရား အမိန့် တော် ရှိပါ၏။
2The Lord hath commanded thee, my lord, that thou shouldst divide the land by lot to the children of Israel, and that thou shouldst give to the daughters of Salphaad our brother the possession due to their father:
3ထိုမိန်းမတို့သည် မိမိအမျိုး မှတပါး ၊ အခြားသော ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား နှင့် စုံဘက် လျှင်၊ သူ တို့အမွေ မြေကို အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ မိဘ အစဉ်အဆက်အမွေ မှ နှုတ် ၍ သူတို့ ဝင် သော အမျိုး ၏ အမွေ ထဲ၌ ပါ သွားသဖြင့် ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ အမွေ မြေသည် လျော့ ပါလိမ့်မည်။
3Now if men of another tribe take them to wives, their possession will follow them, and being transferred to another tribe, will be a diminishing of our inheritance.
4ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား တို့၌ ယုဘိလ နှစ်ရောက် သောအခါ ၊ သူ တို့အမွေ မြေသည် သူတို့ဝင် သော အမျိုး ၏ အမွေ ၌ အမြဲတည်သဖြင့်၊ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့၏ မိစဉ်ဘဆက် အမွေ မှ အစဉ်နှုတ် လျက် ရှိပါလိမ့်မည်ဟု လျှောက်ထားကြ၏။
4And so it shall come to pass, that when the jubilee, that is, the fiftieth year of remission, is come, the distribution made by the lots shall be confounded, and the possession of the one shall pass to the others.
5ထိုအခါ မောရှေ သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အမိန့် တော်အတိုင်း ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား တို့အား မှာထား လေ သည်မှာ၊ ယောသပ် အမျိုးသား တို့၏ စကား သည် လျောက်ပတ် ပေ၏။
5Moses answered the children of Israel, and said by the command of the Lord: The tribe of the children of Joseph hath spoken rightly.
6ဇလောဖဒ် သမီး တို့၏ အမှု၌ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊ သူ တို့သည် အလိုရှိ သောသူနှင့် စုံဘက် ပါလေစေ။ သို့ရာတွင် မိစဉ်ဘဆက် အမျိုးသား မှတပါး၊ အခြားသူနှင့် စုံဘက် ခြင်းကို မပြုစေနှင့်။
6And this is the law promulgated by the Lord touching the daughters of Salphaad: Let them marry to whom they will, only so that it be to men of their own tribe.
7ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား တို့၏ အမွေ မြေသည် တမျိုး မှ တမျိုး သို့ မ ပြောင်း ရ။ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား အပေါင်းတို့သည်၊ အသီးအသီး မိမိ တို့မိစဉ်ဘဆက် အမွေ မြေ၌ နေ ရကြမည်။
7Lest the possession of the children of Israel be mingled from tribe to tribe. For all men shall marry wives of their own tribe and kindred:
8ဣသရေလ အမျိုး တစုံတမျိုး၌ အမွေ မြေရှိသော မိန်းမ သည် မိမိ တို့ မိစဉ်ဘဆက် အမျိုးသား နှင့် စုံဘက် ရမည်။ ထိုသို့ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား အသီးအသီး တို့သည် မိမိတို့ မိစဉ်ဘဆက် အမွေ မြေကို ခံစား ရကြမည်။
8And all women shall take husbands of the same tribe: that the inheritance may remain in the families,
9အမွေ မြေသည် တမျိုး မှ တမျိုး သို့ မ ပြောင်း ရ။ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား အသီးအသီး တို့သည် မိမိ တို့အမွေ မြေ၌ နေ ရကြမည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
9And that the tribes be not mingled one with another, but remain so
10ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မောရှေ အား မှာထား တော်မူ သည်အတိုင်း ၊ ဇလောဖဒ် ၏ သမီး မာလာ ၊
10As they were separated by the Lord. And the daughters of Salphaad did as was commanded:
11တိရဇာ ၊ ဟောဂလာ ၊ မိလကာ ၊ နောအာ တို့သည် ပြု ၍၊ ဘကြီး သား ၊ ဘထွေးသားတို့နှင့် စုံဘက် ကြ၏။
11And Maala, and Thersa, and Hegla, and Melcha, and Noa were married to the sons of their uncle by their father,
12ထိုသို့ ယောသပ် တွင်မြင်သော မနာရှေ သား အဆွေအမျိုး ၌ စုံဘက် ခြင်းအမှုကို ပြု၍ ၊ သူ တို့အမွေ မြေ သည် သူ တို့မိစဉ်ဘဆက် အမျိုး တည် နေ၏။
12Of the family of Manasses, who was the son of Joseph: and the possession that had been allotted to them, remained in the tribe and family of their father.
13ဤရွေ့ကား ၊ မောဘ လွင်ပြင် ၊ ယော်ဒန် မြစ်နား ယေရိခေါ မြို့တဘက်၌ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မောရှေ အားဖြင့် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား တို့အား ထား တော်မူသော စီရင် ထုံးဖွဲ့ချက် ဖြစ်သတည်း။
13These are the commandments and judgments, which the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses to the children of Israel, in the plains of Moab upon the Jordan over against Jericho.
