1ရှုရိ ပြည်နှင့် ဣသရေလ ပြည်သည် စစ် မ တိုက် ဘဲ သုံး နှစ် နေ ပြီးမှ၊
1They continued three years without war between Syria and Israel.
2တတိယ နှစ် တွင် ၊ ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် ယောရှဖတ် သည် ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ထံ သို့လာ ၏။
2In the third year, Jehoshaphat the king of Judah came down to the king of Israel.
3ဣသရေလ ရှင် ဘုရင်ကလည်း၊ ဂိလဒ် ပြည် ရာမုတ်မြို့သည် ငါ တို့ နိုင်ငံအဝင်ဖြစ်သည်ကို သင်တို့မသိ လော။ ငါ တို့သည် ရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် လက် မှ မနှုတ် မယူဘဲ ငြိမ်သက် စွာ နေကြပြီတကားဟု မိမိ ကျွန် တို့အား ဆို ၏။
3The king of Israel said to his servants, “You know that Ramoth Gilead is ours, and we do nothing, and don’t take it out of the hand of the king of Syria?”
4ယောရှဖတ် မင်းအား လည်း၊ ဂိလဒ် ပြည် ရာမုတ်မြို့သို့ ငါ နှင့်အတူ စစ် ချီ မည်လောဟုမေး လျှင် ၊ ယောရှဖတ် က၊ ငါ သည်မင်းကြီး ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်၏။ ငါ့ လူ တို့သည် မင်းကြီး ၏လူ ကဲ့သို့ ၎င်း၊ ငါ့ မြင်း တို့သည် မင်းကြီး ၏ မြင်း ကဲ့သို့ ၎င်း ဖြစ်ကြသည်ဟု ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် အား ပြန်ပြော ၏။
4He said to Jehoshaphat, “Will you go with me to battle to Ramoth Gilead?” Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, “I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses.”
5တဖန် ယောရှဖတ် က၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်ကို ယနေ့ မေးမြန်း ပါလော့ဟု ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် အား ဆို သော်၊
5Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, “Please inquire first for the LORD’s word.”
6ဣသရေလ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် ပရောဖက် လေး ရာ တို့ကို စုဝေး စေပြီးလျှင် ၊ ငါသည်ဂိလဒ် ပြည် ရာမုတ်မြို့သို့ စစ် ချီ ကောင်းသလော။ မချီဘဲ နေကောင်းသလောဟုမေး သော်၊ သူတို့ကချီ တော်မူပါ။ ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် အရှင်မင်းကြီး ၏လက် တော်သို့ အပ် တော်မူမည်ဟု လျှောက် ကြ၏။
6Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said to them, “Should I go against Ramoth Gilead to battle, or should I refrain?” They said, “Go up; for the Lord will deliver it into the hand of the king.”
7ယောရှဖတ် ကလည်း၊ ငါတို့မေးမြန်း စရာ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ပရောဖက် တစုံတပါးမျှမ ရှိသလောဟု မေး သော်၊
7But Jehoshaphat said, “Isn’t there here a prophet of the LORD, that we may inquire of him?”
8ဣသရေလ ရှင် ဘုရင်က၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို မေးမြန်း ရသောသူ တယောက် ဣမလ သား မိက္ခါ ရှိသေး ၏။ သို့ရာတွင် ထိုသူ ကို ငါ မုန်း ၏။ ငါ ၌ မင်္ဂလာ စကားကို မ ဟော။ အမင်္ဂလာ စကားကိုသာ ဟောတတ်သည်ဟု ယောရှဖတ် အား ဆို လျှင် ၊ ယောရှဖတ် က ထိုသို့ မင်းကြီး မ ပြော ပါနှင့်ဟု ပြန်ဆို ၏။
8The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of the LORD, Micaiah the son of Imlah; but I hate him, for he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil.” Jehoshaphat said, “Don’t let the king say so.”
9ထိုအခါ ဣသရေလ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် အရာရှိ တယောက် ကိုခေါ် ၍ ၊ ဣမလ သား မိက္ခါ ကို အလျင်အမြန် ခေါ်ခဲ့ဟုမိန့် တော်မူ၏။
9Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, “Quickly get Micaiah the son of Imlah.”
10ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် နှင့် ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် ယောရှဖတ် တို့သည် မင်းမြောက် တန်ဆာကို ဝတ်ဆင် လျက် ရှမာရိ မြို့တံခါးဝ ရှေ့၊ ဟင်းလင်း သော အရပ်၌ ရာဇပလ္လင် တို့အပေါ် မှာထိုင် ၍ ၊ ပရောဖက် အပေါင်း တို့သည် ရှေ့ တော်၌ ဟောပြော ကြ၏။
10Now the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah were sitting each on his throne, arrayed in their robes, in an open place at the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets were prophesying before them.
11ခေနာနာ သား ဇေဒကိ သည် သံ ဦးချို တို့ကို လုပ် ၍ ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ရှုရိ လူတို့ကို မ ဖျက်ဆီး မှီ တိုင်အောင်ဤ ဦးချိုတို့နှင့် တိုး ရမည်ဟုမိန့် တော်မူကြောင်းကို ဆင့်ဆို၏။
11Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made himself horns of iron, and said, “The LORD says, ‘With these you will push the Syrians, until they are consumed.’”
12ပရောဖက် အပေါင်း တို့ကလည်း ၊ ဂိလဒ် ပြည် ရာမုတ်မြို့သို့ စစ်ချီ ၍ အောင် တော်မူပါ။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် အရှင်မင်းကြီး ၏ လက် တော်သို့ အပ် တော်မူမည်ဟု ပရောဖက် ပြု၍ ဟော ကြ၏။
12All the prophets prophesied so, saying, “Go up to Ramoth Gilead and prosper; for the LORD will deliver it into the hand of the king.”
13မိက္ခါ ကိုခေါ် သော တမန် က၊ ပရောဖက် အပေါင်းတို့သည် မင်္ဂလာ စကား ကိုသာ ရှင်ဘုရင် အား တညီတညွတ် တည်းဟောကြ၏။ ကိုယ်တော် လည်း သူ တို့ ဟောကြသည်နည်းတူ မင်္ဂလာ စကားကိုသာ ဟော တော်မူပါဟုဆို လျှင်၊
13The messenger who went to call Micaiah spoke to him, saying, “See now, the prophets declare good to the king with one mouth. Please let your word be like the word of one of them, and speak good.”
14မိက္ခါ က၊ ထာဝရဘုရား အသက် ရှင်တော်မူသည် အတိုင်း ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသော စကားကိုသာ ငါပြန် ပြောရမည်ဟုဆို ၏။
14Micaiah said, “As the LORD lives, what the LORD says to me, that I will speak.”
15ရှင်ဘုရင် ထံသို့ ရောက် သောအခါ ရှင် ဘုရင်က၊ အချင်းမိက္ခါ ၊ ငါတို့သည် ဂိလဒ် ပြည်ရာမုတ်မြို့သို့ စစ်ချီ ကောင်းသလော။ မ ချီဘဲနေကောင်းသလောဟုမေး လျှင် ၊ မိက္ခါက၊ စစ်ချီ ၍ အောင် တော်မူပါ။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် အရှင်မင်းကြီး ၏ လက် တော်သို့ အပ် တော်မူမည်ဟု ပြန်လျှောက် ၏။
15When he had come to the king, the king said to him, “Micaiah, shall we go to Ramoth Gilead to battle, or shall we forbear?” He answered him, “Go up and prosper; and the LORD will deliver it into the hand of the king.”
16ရှင် ဘုရင်ကလည်း ၊ မှန် သောစကားမှတပါး အခြားသောစကားကို ထာဝရဘုရား အခွင့်နှင့် သင်သည် ငါ့ အား မ ဟော မည်အကြောင်း ၊ ငါ သည် ဘယ်နှစ်ကြိမ် တိုင်အောင်သင့် အား အကျိန် ပေးရမည်နည်းဟုမေး သော်၊
16The king said to him, “How many times do I have to adjure you that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the LORD’s name?”
17မိက္ခါက၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားအပေါင်း တို့ သည် သိုးထိန်း မ ရှိ သော သိုး ကဲ့သို့ ၊ တောင် များအပေါ် မှာ အရပ်ရပ် ကွဲပြားလျက် ရှိကြသည်ကို ငါမြင် ပြီ။ ထာဝရဘုရား ကလည်း၊ ဤသူအပေါင်းတို့သည် အရှင်မရှိသောကြောင့် အသီးအသီးကိုယ်နေရာသို့ ပြန်ကြပါလေစေဟု မိန့်တော်မူကြောင်းကို လျှောက်ဆို၏။
17He said, “I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. The LORD said, ‘These have no master. Let them each return to his house in peace.’”
18ဣသရေလ ရှင် ဘုရင်ကလည်း ၊ သူသည်ငါ ၌ မင်္ဂလာ စကားကိုမ ဟော ၊ အမင်္ဂလာ စကားကိုသာ ဟောတတ်သည်ဟု မင်းကြီး အား ငါမ ပြော သလောဟု ယောရှဖတ် အား ဆို ၏။
18The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “Didn’t I tell you that he would not prophesy good concerning me, but evil?”
19မိက္ခါကလည်း၊ သို့ဖြစ်၍ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အမိန့် တော်ကို နားထောင် ပါ။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ပလ္လင် တော်ပေါ် မှာ ထိုင် တော်မူသည်ကို၎င်း ၊ ကောင်းကင် ဗိုလ်ခြေ အပေါင်း တို့သည် လက်ျာ တော်ဘက် လက်ဝဲ တော်ဘက် ၌ ရပ် နေကြသည်ကို၎င်းငါမြင် ပြီ။
19Micaiah said, “Therefore hear the LORD’s word. I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the army of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.
20ထာဝရဘုရား ကလည်း ၊ အာဟပ် သည် ဂိလဒ် ပြည်ရာမုတ်မြို့သို့ စစ်ချီ ၍ ဆုံး စေခြင်းငှါ အဘယ်သူ သွေးဆောင် မည်နည်းဟုမေး တော်မူလျှင် ၊ အခြံအရံတော်တို့သည် တယောက်တနည်းစီ ပြန်လျှောက် ကြ၏။
20The LORD said, ‘Who will entice Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth Gilead?’ One said one thing, and another said another.
21တဖန် ဝိညာဉ် တပါးသည် လာ ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ရပ် လျက် ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် သွေးဆောင် ပါမည်ဟု လျှောက် လျှင်၊
21A spirit came out and stood before the LORD, and said, ‘I will entice him.’
22ထာဝရဘုရား က အဘယ်သို့ သွေးဆောင်မည်နည်းဟုမေး တော်မူသော်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သွား ၍ ထိုမင်းကြီး၏ ပရောဖက် အပေါင်း တို့အထဲမှာ မုသာ စကားကို ပြောတတ် သောစိတ် ဝိညာဉ်ဖြစ် ပါမည်ဟု ပြန်လျှောက် သော် ၊ သင်သည် သွေးဆောင် ၍ နိုင် လိမ့်မည်။ ထိုသို့သွား ၍ ပြု လော့ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
22The LORD said to him, ‘How?’ He said, ‘I will go out and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ He said, ‘You will entice him, and will also prevail. Go out and do so.’
23သို့ဖြစ်၍ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မုသာ စကားကို ပြောတတ်သောစိတ် ဝိညာဉ်ကို မင်းကြီး၏ ပရောဖက် အပေါင်း တို့၌ သွင်း တော်မူပြီ။ မင်းကြီး၏အမှုမှာ အမင်္ဂလာ စကားကို ပြော တော်မူပြီဟု ဟောလေ၏။
23Now therefore, behold, the LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets; and the LORD has spoken evil concerning you.”
24ထိုအခါ ခေနာနာ ၏ သား ဇေဒကိ သည် ချဉ်း လာ ၍ မိက္ခါ ၏ ပါး ကို ပုတ် လျက် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ဝိညာဉ် တော်သည် သင် နှင့်နှုတ်ဆက် ခြင်းငှါ အဘယ် လမ်းဖြင့် ငါ မှ ထွက် တော်မူသနည်းဟုမေး လျှင်၊
24Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said, “Which way did the LORD’s Spirit go from me to speak to you?”
25မိက္ခါ က၊ သင်သည် ပုန်းရှောင် ၍ နေခြင်းငှါ အတွင်း ခန်းထဲသို့ ဝင် သော နေ့ ၌ သင် မြင် လိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆို ၏။
25Micaiah said, “Behold, you will see on that day when you go into an inner room to hide yourself.”
26ဣသရေလ ရှင် ဘုရင်က၊ မိက္ခါ ကို မြို့ဝန်မင်း အာမုန် ထံ ၊ သား တော်ယောရှ ထံသို့ ယူသွား ၍၊
26The king of Israel said, “Take Micaiah, and carry him back to Amon the governor of the city and to Joash the king’s son.
27ဤ သူကိုထောင် ထဲမှာလှောင် ထားကြ။ ငါသည် ငြိမ်ဝပ် စွာ ပြန် ၍ မ လာမှီတိုင်အောင်ဆင်းရဲ စွာ စား သောက် စေဟု အမိန့် တော်ရှိကြောင်းကို ဆင့်ဆို လော့ဟု စီရင် ၏။
27Say, ‘The king says, “Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace.”’”
28မိက္ခါ ကလည်း၊ မင်းကြီးသည် ငြိမ်ဝပ် စွာ ပြန် လာရလျှင် ထာဝရဘုရား သည်ငါ့ အားဖြင့် မိန့် တော် မ မူ၊ အိုလူ များအပေါင်း တို့၊ နားထောင် ကြလော့ဟုဆို ၏။
28Micaiah said, “If you return at all in peace, the LORD has not spoken by me.” He said, “Listen, all you people!”
29ထိုသို့ ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် နှင့် ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် ယောရှဖတ် တို့သည် ဂိလဒ် ပြည်ရာမုတ်မြို့သို့ စစ်ချီ ကြ၏။
29So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramoth Gilead.
30ဣသရေလ ရှင် ဘုရင်က၊ ငါသည်ခြားနားသော အယောင် ကို ဆောင်၍ စစ်ပွဲ ထဲသို့ ဝင် မည်။ မင်းကြီး မူကား မင်းမြောက် တန်ဆာကို ဝတ်ဆင် ပါလော့ဟု ယောရှဖတ် အား ဆို ပြီးမှ ၊ ဣသရေလ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် ခြားနားသော အယောင် ကို ဆောင်လျက် စစ်ပွဲ ထဲသို့ ဝင် ၏။
30The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “I will disguise myself and go into the battle, but you put on your robes.” The king of Israel disguised himself and went into the battle.
31ရှုရိ ရှင် ဘုရင်က၊ ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် မှတပါး အခြားသော လူကြီး လူငယ် ကို မ တိုက် နှင့်ဟု ရထားစီး သူရဲများကို အုပ်သော ဗိုလ်သုံးကျိပ် နှစ် ယောက်တို့ကိုမှာ ထားနှင့်သောကြောင့်၊
31Now the king of Syria had commanded the thirty-two captains of his chariots, saying, “Don’t fight with small nor great, except only with the king of Israel.”
32ရထားစီး သူရဲအုပ်ဗိုလ်မင်းတို့သည် ယောရှဖတ် ကိုမြင် သောအခါ ၊ အကယ် စင်စစ်ထိုသူသည် ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဖြစ် လိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆို လျက် သူ့ ကို တိုက် အံ့သောငှါ လမ်းလွှဲ ကြ၍ ၊ ယောရှဖတ် လည်း ကြွေးကြော် လေ၏။
32When the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, they said, “Surely that is the king of Israel!” and they came over to fight against him. Jehoshaphat cried out.
33ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် မ ဟုတ်ကြောင်း ကို ရထားစီး သူရဲအုပ်ဗိုလ်မင်းတို့သည် ရိပ်မိ သောအခါ ၊ မလိုက်ဘဲ အခြားသို့ ရှောင် သွားကြ၏။
33When the captains of the chariots saw that it was not the king of Israel, they turned back from pursuing him.
34လူ တယောက်သည် မရွယ်ဘဲလေး နှင့်ပစ်၍၊ ဣသရေလ ရှင် ဘုရင်ကို သံချပ် အင်္ကျီအဆစ် ကြား မှာ မှန် လေသော် ၊ ငါ့ ကိုစစ်ပွဲ ထဲက လှည့် ၍ ထုတ်ဆောင် လော့။ ငါနာ သည်ဟု မိမိ ရထား တော်ထိန်းကို ဆို ၏။
34A certain man drew his bow at random, and struck the king of Israel between the joints of the armor. Therefore he said to the driver of his chariot, “Turn around, and carry me out of the battle, for I am severely wounded.”
35ထို နေ့ ၌ တိုး၍ တိုက် ကြ၏။ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် ရှုရိ လူတဘက် တချက်၌ရထား တော်ထဲမှာ လူကိုမှီ ၍ ထိုင်နေ၏။ ညဦးယံ ၌ အသက် တော်ကုန်၏။ ထိခိုက်ရာ အနာ မှ အသွေး သည်ရထား ထဲသို့ ယို ၏။
35The battle increased that day. The king was propped up in his chariot facing the Syrians, and died at evening. The blood ran out of the wound into the bottom of the chariot.
36လူအပေါင်းတို့၊ ကိုယ် နေသောမြို့ ပြည် သို့ ပြန်သွားကြဟု နေ ဝင် သောအခါ တတပ်လုံး ကို ကြွေးကြော် လေ၏။
36A cry went throughout the army about the going down of the sun, saying, “Every man to his city, and every man to his country!”
37ထိုသို့ ရှင်ဘုရင် သေ ၍ ရှမာရိ မြို့သို့ ရောက် သဖြင့် သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ခြင်းကို ခံရ၏။
37So the king died, and was brought to Samaria; and they buried the king in Samaria.
38ရထား တော်နှင့် လက်နက် တော်ကို ရှမာရိ မြို့ ရေကန် ၌ ဆေး သဖြင့် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသော စကား နှင့်အညီ ခွေး တို့သည် အသွေး ကို လျက် ကြ၏။
38They washed the chariot by the pool of Samaria; and the dogs licked up his blood where the prostitutes washed themselves, according to the LORD’s word which he spoke.
39အာဟပ် ပြုမူ သော အမှုအရာ ကြွင်း လေသမျှ တို့နှင့် တည်ဆောက် သော ဆင်စွယ် နန်း ၊ ပြုစု သော မြို့ တို့ သည် ဣသရေလ ရာဇဝင် ၌ ရေးထား လျက်ရှိ၏။
39Now the rest of the acts of Ahab, and all that he did, and the ivory house which he built, and all the cities that he built, aren’t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
40အာဟပ် သည် ဘိုးဘေး တို့နှင့် အိပ်ပျော် ၍ ၊ သား တော်အာခဇိ သည် ခမည်းတော်အရာ ၌ နန်း ထိုင်၏။
40So Ahab slept with his fathers; and Ahaziah his son reigned in his place.
41ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် အာဟပ် နန်းစံလေး နှစ် တွင် အာသ သား ယောရှဖတ် သည် အသက်သုံး ဆယ် ငါး နှစ် ရှိသော်ယုဒ နိုင်ငံကို အစိုးရ ၍၊
41Jehoshaphat the son of Asa began to reign over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel.
42ယေရုရှလင် မြို့၌ နှစ် ဆယ်ငါး နှစ် စိုးစံ လေ၏။ မယ်တော် ကား ရှိလဟိ သမီး အဇုဘ အမည် ရှိ၏။
42Jehoshaphat was thirty-five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.
43ထိုမင်းသည်ခမည်းတော် အာသ လိုက်သော လမ်း ကိုမ လွှဲ ၊ အကုန်အစင် လိုက် ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောအကျင့် ကိုသာ ကျင့် ၏။ သို့ရာတွင် မြင့် သောအရပ်တို့ကို မ ပယ်ရှား သောကြောင့်၊ လူ တို့သည် ထိုအရပ် တို့၌ ယဇ် ပူဇော်၍ နံ့သာပေါင်း ကို မီးရှို့ကြ၏။
43He walked in all the way of Asa his father. He didn’t turn away from it, doing that which was right in the LORD’s eyes. However, the high places were not taken away. The people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places.
44ယောရှဖတ် မင်းသည် ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် နှင့် စစ်မတိုက် မိဿဟာယ ဖွဲ့လေ၏။
44Jehoshaphat made peace with the king of Israel.
45ယောရှဖတ် ပြုမူ သော အမှုအရာ ကြွင်း လေသမျှ တို့နှင့် တန်ခိုး ကြီးခြင်း၊ စစ်တိုက် ခြင်းအရာတို့သည် ယုဒ ရာဇဝင် ၌ ရေးထား လျက် ရှိ၏။
45Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, and his might that he showed, and how he fought, aren’t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
46ခမည်းတော် အာသ လက်ထက် ၌ ကျန်ကြွင်း သေး သော ယောက်ျားအလိုသို့ လိုက်တတ်သော မိန်းမလျှာ တို့ကို ပြည် တော်မှ သုတ်သင် ပယ်ရှင်းလေ၏။
46The remnant of the sodomites, that remained in the days of his father Asa, he put away out of the land.
47ထိုကာလ၊ ဧဒုံ ပြည်၌ ရှင်ဘုရင် မ ရှိ။ ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင်ခန့်ထား သော မြို့ဝန်မင်း စီရင်ရ၏။
47There was no king in Edom. A deputy ruled.
48ယောရှဖတ် သည် ဩဖိရ ပြည်သို့ စေလွှတ်၍၊ ရွှေ ကို ယူစေခြင်းငှါ တာရှု သင်္ဘော တို့ကို ဧဇယုန်ဂါဗာမြို့ မှာ တည် ၏။
48Jehoshaphat made ships of Tarshish to go to Ophir for gold, but they didn’t go, for the ships wrecked at Ezion Geber.
49အာဟပ် သား အာခဇိ က၊ ငါ့ ကျွန် တို့သည် မင်းကြီး ကျွန် တို့နှင့် သင်္ဘော စီးပါစေဟု ယောရှဖတ်၌ အခွင့်တောင်း၍ ယောရှဖတ်သည် အခွင့်ပေး၏။ သို့သော်လည်းသင်္ဘော တို့သည် ဧဇယုန်ဂါဗာ မြို့မှာ ကျိုးပဲ့ သောကြောင့် ၊ ဩဖိရမြို့သို့ မသွားရ။
49Then Ahaziah the son of Ahab said to Jehoshaphat, “Let my servants go with your servants in the ships.” But Jehoshaphat would not.
50ယောရှဖတ် သည် ဘိုးဘေး တို့နှင့် အိပ်ပျော် ၍ သူတို့နှင့်အတူ အဘ ဒါဝိဒ် မြို့ ၌ သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ခြင်းကိုခံလေ၏။ သား တော်ယဟောရံ သည် ခမည်းတော်အရာ ၌ နန်း ထိုင် ၏။
50Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in his father David’s city. Jehoram his son reigned in his place.
51ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် ယောရှဖတ် နန်းစံဆယ် ခုနစ် နှစ် တွင် ၊ အာဟပ် သား အာခဇိ သည် ရှမာရိ မြို့၌ မင်းပြု ၍ ဣသရေလ နိုင်ငံကို နှစ် နှစ်စိုးစံ ၏။
51Ahaziah the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria in the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and he reigned two years over Israel.
52ထိုမင်းသည်ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ဒုစရိုက် ကို ပြု ၍ ၊ မိ ဘ လိုက်သောလမ်း ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို ပြစ်မှား စေသော နေဗတ် ၏သား ယေရောဗောင် လိုက်သောလမ်း သို့ လိုက် လေ၏။
52He did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight, and walked in the way of his father, and in the way of his mother, and in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, in which he made Israel to sin.
53ဗာလ ဘုရားကို ဝတ်ပြု ကိုးကွယ် ၍ ၊ အဘ ကျင့် လေသမျှ အတိုင်း ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အမျက် တော်ကို နှိုးဆော်သတည်း။
53He served Baal and worshiped him, and provoked the LORD, the God of Israel, to anger in all the ways that his father had done so.
