King James Version with Apocrypha
1Mwet lili luk, ke pacl se nga tuh tuku nu yuruwos in fahkak nu suwos ma pwaye lun God su tia eteyuk meet, nga tuh tia orekmakin kas loal ku kas in lalmwetmet.
1And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
2Ke pacl nga muta yuruwos ah, nga tuh sulela sik in mulkunla ma nukewa sayen Jesus Christ, ac yokna ke misa lal fin sakseng.
2For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
3Ouinge ke nga tuku nu yuruwos ah, nga tuh munas ac rarrar monuk nufon ke sangeng,
3And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
4ac mwe luti ac fahkak luk ah tuh tiana fahla ke kas oa ku kas lalmwetmet lun mwet, a ke kas ma arulana akkalemye ku lun Ngun lun God.
4And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
5Ouinge, lulalfongi lowos tia oakwuki ke lalmwetmet lun mwet, a ke ku lun God.
5That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
6Ne ouinge, nga sulkakin pweng lalmwetmet nu selos su matu tari ke moul in ngun. Tusruktu lalmwetmet se inge tia ma lun faclu, ac tia pac ma lun ku su leumi faclu — ku sac fahfahla in wanginla.
6Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
7Lalmwetmet se su nga sulkakin inge pa lalmwetmet lukma lun God, su wikla liki mwet uh, ac su El nuna sulela nu ke wolana lasr meet liki orekla faclu.
7But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom , which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
8Wangin sie sin leum fin faclu etu ke lalmwetmet se inge. Elos funu etu, elos lukun tia srupusrak Leum lun wolana.
8Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it , they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9Tusruktu, in oana Ma Simusla uh fahk, “Ma su mwet uh soenna liye ku lohng, Ma se su mwet uh soenna nunkauk mu ku in sikyak, Pa ma se ma God El akola nu selos su lungse El.”
9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10Tuh God El akkalemye ma inge nu sesr ke Ngun lal. Ngun el tuni ma nukewa, finne sripa loallana lun God.
10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11Ngunin mwet se sifacna pa etu ma nukewa kacl; in lumah sacna, Ngun lun God mukena pa etu ma nukewa ke God.
11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12Kut tia eis ngun lun faclu, a kut eis Ngun se su supweyukme sin God, tuh kut fah ku in etu ma nukewa ma God El ase nu sesr.
12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13Ke ma inge, kut tia luti ke kas su lutiyuk ke lalmwetmet lun mwet, a ke kas ma lutiyuk sin Ngun Mutal, oana ke kut aketeya ma pwaye lun ngun nu selos su oasr Ngun yoro.
13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them , because they are spiritually discerned.
15Kutena mwet su oasr Ngun yoro, oasr kalem lal in nununku ma nukewa, tusruktu wangin sie ac ku in nununkal.
15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16Oana Ma Simusla uh fahk, “Su etu nunak lun Leum? Su ku in sang kas in kasru nu sel?” Tusruktu, nunak lun Christ oasr yorosr.
16For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
