Jeremiah 18

1The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying:
1Кувынтул ворбит луй Иеремия дин партя Домнулуй ши каре сунэ астфел:
2'Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear My words.'
2„Скоалэ-те ши кобоарэ-те ын каса оларулуй; аколо те вой фаче сэ аузь кувинтеле Меле!”
3Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he was at his work on the wheels.
3Кынд м-ам коборыт ын каса оларулуй, ятэ кэ ел лукра пе роатэ.
4And whensoever the vessel that he made of the clay was marred in the hand of the potter, he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
4Васул пе каре-л фэчя н-а избутит – кум се ынтымплэ ку лутул ын мына оларулуй. Атунч, ел а фэкут ун алт вас, кум й-а плэкут луй сэ-л факэ.
5Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying:
5Ши Кувынтул Домнулуй мь-а ворбит астфел:
6'O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay in the potter's hand, so are ye in My hand, O house of Israel.
6„Ну пот Еу сэ фак ку вой ка оларул ачеста, касэ а луй Исраел?”, зиче Домнул. „Ятэ, кум есте лутул ын мына оларулуй, аша сунтець вой ын мына Мя, касэ а луй Исраел!
7At one instant I may speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up and to break down and to destroy it;
7Деодатэ зик деспре ун ням, деспре о ымпэрэцие, кэ-л вой смулӂе, кэ-л вой сурпа ши кэ-л вой нимичи,
8but if that nation turn from their evil, because of which I have spoken against it, I repent of the evil that I thought to do unto it.
8дар, дакэ нямул ачеста деспре каре ам ворбит астфел се ынтоарче де ла рэутатя луй, атунч ши Мие Ымь паре рэу де рэул пе каре Ымь пусесем ын гынд сэ и-л фак.
9And at one instant I may speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;
9Тот аша ынсэ, деодатэ зик деспре ун ням сау деспре о ымпэрэцие кэ-л вой зиди сау кэ-л вой сэди,
10but if it do evil in My sight, that it hearken not to My voice, then I repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit it.
10дар, дакэ нямул ачеста фаче че есте рэу ынаинтя Мя ши н-аскултэ гласул Меу, атунч Ымь паре рэу ши де бинеле пе каре авям де гынд сэ и-л фак.
11Now therefore do thou speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying: Thus saith the LORD: Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you; return ye now every one from his evil way, and amend your ways and your doings.
11Де ачея, ворбеште акум оаменилор луй Иуда ши локуиторилор Иерусалимулуй ши зи: ‘Аша ворбеште Домнул: «Ятэ, прегэтеск о ненорочире ымпотрива воастрэ ши фак ун план ымпотрива воастрэ. Де ачея, ынтоарчеци-вэ фиекаре де ла каля воастрэ чя ря, ындрептаци-вэ умблетеле ши фаптеле!»’”
12But they say: There is no hope; but we will walk after our own devices, and we will do every one after the stubbornness of his evil heart.'
12Дар ей зик: „Деӂяба! Кэч ной не вом урма гындуриле ноастре ши вом лукра фиекаре дупэ порнириле инимий ноастре реле!”
13Therefore thus saith the LORD: Ask ye now among the nations, who hath heard such things; the virgin of Israel hath done a very horrible thing.
13Де ачея, аша ворбеште Домнул: „Ынтребаць пе нямурь! Чине а аузит вреодатэ асеменя лукрурь? Фечоара луй Исраел а фэкут грозаве блестемэций.
14Doth the snow of Lebanon fail from the rock of the field? or are the strange cold flowing waters plucked up?
14Пэрэсеште зэпада Либанулуй стынка огоарелор? Сау се вэд секынд апеле каре вин де департе проаспете ши кургэтоаре?
15For My people hath forgotten Me, they offer unto vanity; and they have been made to stumble in their ways, in the ancient paths, to walk in bypaths, in a way not cast up;
15Тотушь попорул Меу М-а уйтат ши адуче тэмые идолилор; с-а абэтут дин кэиле луй, а пэрэсит векиле кэрэрь ши а апукат пе кэрэрь ши друмурь небэтуте,
16To make their land an astonishment, and a perpetual hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished, and shake his head.
16фэкынд астфел дин цара лор о пустиетате, о вешникэ батжокурэ; тоць чей че трек прин еа сунт уймиць ши дау дин кап.
17I will scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I will look upon their back, and not their face, in the day of their calamity.
17Ка вынтул де ла рэсэрит ый вой рисипи ынаинтя врэжмашулуй, яр ын зиуа неказулуй лор, ле вой ынтоарче спателе ши ну Мэ вой уйта ла ей!”
18Then said they: 'Come, and let us devise devices against Jeremiah; for instruction shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words.'
18Атунч ей ау зис: „Вениць сэ урзим реле ымпотрива луй Иеремия! Кэч доар ну ва пери Леӂя дин липсэ де преоць, нич сфатул дин липсэ де ынцелепць, нич кувынтул дин липсэ де пророчь. Хайдем сэ-л учидем ку ворба ши сэ ну луэм сяма ла тоате ворбириле луй!”
19Give heed to me, O LORD, and hearken to the voice of them that contend with me.
19Аскултэ-мэ, Доамне, ши аузь гласул потривничилор мей!
20Shall evil be recompensed for good? For they have digged a pit for my soul. Remember how I stood before Thee to speak good for them, to turn away Thy wrath from them.
20Ку рэу се рэсплэтеште бинеле? Кэч ау сэпат о гроапэ ка сэ-мь я вяца. Аду-Ць аминте кэ ам стат ынаинтя Та ка сэ ворбеск бине пентру ей ши сэ абат мыния Та де ла ей.
21Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and hurl them to the power of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and widows; and let their men be slain of death, and their young men smitten of the sword in battle.
21Де ачея, дэ пе копиий лор прадэ фоаметей ши добоарэ-й ку сабия! Невестеле лор сэ фие липсите де копий ши сэ рэмынэ вэдуве, ши бэрбаций лор сэ фие луаць де чумэ; тинерий лор сэ фие учишь де сабие ын луптэ!
22Let a cry be heard from their houses, when thou shalt bring a troop suddenly upon them; for they have digged a pit to take me, and hid snares for my feet.
22Сэ се аудэ стригэте ешинд дин каселе лор кынд четеле адусе де Тине вор кэдя деодатэ песте ей! Кэч ау сэпат о гроапэ ка сэ мэ приндэ ши мь-ау ынтинс лацурь суб пичоаре.
23Yet, LORD, Thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay me; forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from Thy sight; but let them be made to stumble before Thee; Deal Thou with them in the time of Thine anger.
23Дар Ту, Доамне, куношть тоате унелтириле лор фэкуте ка сэ мэ омоаре. Ну ле ерта нелеӂюиря ши ну ле штерӂе пэкатул динаинтя Та, чи сэ фие доборыць ын Фаца Та! Лукрязэ ымпотрива лор ла время мынией Тале!
