1Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.
1Ятэ, Домнул дешартэ цара ши о пустиеште, ый рэстоарнэ фаца ши рисипеште локуиторий;
2And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the creditor, so with the debtor.
2кум се ынтымплэ преотулуй, се ынтымплэ ши попорулуй; стэпынулуй, ка ши слуӂий; стэпыней, ка ши служничей; вынзэторулуй, ка ши кумпэрэторулуй; челуй че дэ ку ымпрумут, ка ши челуй че я ку ымпрумут; даторникулуй, ка ши челуй кэруя ый есте датор.
3The earth shall be utterly emptied, and clean despoiled; for the LORD hath spoken this word.
3Цара есте пустиитэ де тот ши прэдатэ; кэч Домнул а хотэрыт аша.
4The earth fainteth and fadeth away, the world faileth and fadeth away, the lofty people of the earth do fail.
4Цара есте тристэ, слеитэ де путерь; локуиторий сунт мыхниць ши тынжеск; кэпетенииле попорулуй сунт фэрэ путере,
5The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, violated the statute, broken the everlasting covenant.
5кэч цара а фост спуркатэ де локуиторий ей; ей кэлкау леӂиле, ну циняу порунчиле ши рупяу легэмынтул чел вешник!
6Therefore hath a curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are found guilty; therefore the inhabitants of the earth waste away, and men are left few.
6Де ачея мэнынкэ блестемул цара ши суферэ локуиторий ей педяпса нелеӂюирилор лор; де ачея сунт прэпэдиць локуиторий цэрий ши ну май рэмыне декыт ун мик нумэр дин ей.
7The new wine faileth, the vine fadeth; all the merry-hearted do sigh.
7Мустул стэ трист, вия есте вештежитэ; тоць чей че ерау ку инима веселэ суспинэ.
8The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.
8А ынчетат десфэтаря тимпанелор, с-а сфыршит веселия гэлэӂиоасэ, с-а дус букурия харпей.
9They drink not wine with a song; strong drink is bitter to them that drink it.
9Ну се май кынтэ кынд се бя вин ши бэутуриле тарь ли се пар амаре челор че ле бяу.
10Broken down is the city of wasteness; every house is shut up, that none may come in.
10Четатя пустие есте дэрыматэ; тоате каселе сунт ынкисе, ну май интрэ нимень ын еле.
11There is a crying in the streets amidst the wine; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.
11Пе улице се стригэ дупэ вин; с-а дус орьче десфэтаре, ну май есте ничо веселие ын царэ.
12In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten unto ruin.
12Нумай пустиире а май рэмас ын четате ши порциле стау дэрымате.
13For thus shall it be in the midst of the earth, among the peoples, as at the beating of an olive-tree, as at the gleanings when the vintage is done.
13Да, ын царэ, ын мижлокул попоарелор, есте ка атунч кынд се скутурэ мэслинул сау ка ла кулесул чоркинелор рэмасе дупэ кулесул вией.
14Those yonder lift up their voice, they sing for joy; for the majesty of the LORD they shout from the sea:
14Чейлалць ынсэ, каре вор май рэмыне, ышь ынэлцэ гласул, скот стригэте де веселие; де пе цэрмуриле мэрий, лаудэ мэреция Домнулуй.
15'Therefore glorify ye the LORD in the regions of light, even the name of the LORD, the God of Israel, in the isles of the sea.'
15„Прослэвиць дар пе Домнул ын локуриле унде стрэлучеште луминэ, лэудаць Нумеле Домнулуй Думнезеулуй луй Исраел ын остроавеле мэрий!”
16From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs: 'Glory to the righteous.' But I say: I waste away, I waste away, woe is me! The treacherous deal treacherously; yea, the treacherous deal very treacherously.
16Де ла марӂиниле пэмынтулуй аузим кынтынд: „Славэ челуй неприхэнит!” Дар еу зик: „Сунт пердут! Сунт пердут! Вай де мине!” Жефуиторий жефуеск, жефуиторий се ынвершунязэ ла жаф.
17Terror, and the pit, and the trap, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.
17Гроаза, гроапа ши лацул вин песте тине, локуитор ал цэрий!
18And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the terror shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the trap; for the windows on high are opened, and the foundations of the earth do shake;
18Чел че фуӂе динаинтя стригэтелор де гроазэ каде ын гроапэ ши чел че се ридикэ дин гроапэ се принде ын лац, кэч се дескид стэвилареле де сус ши се клатинэ темелииле пэмынтулуй!
19The earth is broken, broken down, the earth is crumbled in pieces, the earth trembleth and tottereth;
19Пэмынтул се рупе, пэмынтул се сфэрымэ, пэмынтул се крапэ,
20The earth reeleth to and fro like a drunken man, and swayeth to and fro as a lodge; and the transgression thereof is heavy upon it, and it shall fall, and not rise again.
20пэмынтул се клатинэ ка ун ом бят, тремурэ ка о колибэ; пэкатул луй ыл апасэ, каде ши ну се май ридикэ.
21And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD will punish the host of the high heaven on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
21Ын зиуа ачея, Домнул ва педепси ын чер оштиря де сус, яр пе пэмынт, пе ымпэраций пэмынтулуй.
22And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the dungeon, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be punished.
22Ачештя вор фи стрыншь ка приншь де рэзбой ши пушь ынтр-о темницэ, вор фи ынкишь ын герле ши, дупэ ун маре нумэр де зиле, вор фи педепсиць.
23Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed; for the LORD of hosts will reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before His elders shall be Glory.
23Луна ва фи акоперитэ де рушине ши соареле, де гроазэ, кэч Домнул оштирилор ва ымпэрэци пе Мунтеле Сионулуй ши ла Иерусалим, стрэлучинд де славэ ын фаца бэтрынилор Луй.
