1And the courses of the sons of Aaron were these. The sons of Aaron: Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
1وَهَذِهِ فِرَقُ بَنِي هَارُونَ: بَنُو هَارُونَ: نَادَابُ وَأَبِيهُو، أَلِعَازَارُ وَإِيثَامَارُ.
2But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children; therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest's office.
2وَمَاتَ نَادَابُ وَأَبِيهُو قَبْلَ أَبِيهِمَا وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُمَا بَنُونَ، فَكَهَنَ أَلِعَازَارُ وَإِيثَامَارُ.
3And David with Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, divided them according to their ordering in their service.
3وَقَسَمَهُمْ دَاوُدُ وَصَادُوقُ مِنْ بَنِي أَلِعَازَارَ، وَأَخِيمَالِكَ مِنْ بَنِي إِيثَامَارَ، حَسَبَ وَكَالَتِهِمْ فِي خِدْمَتِهِمْ.
4And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and thus were they divided: of the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen, heads of fathers' houses; and of the sons of Ithamar, according to their fathers' houses, eight.
4وَوُجِدَ لِبَنِي أَلِعَازَارَ رُؤُوسُ رِجَالٍ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ بَنِي إِيثَامَارَ، فَٱنْقَسَمُوا لِبَنِي أَلِعَازَارَ رُؤُوسًا لِبَيْتِ آبَائِهِمْ سِتَّةَ عَشَرَ، وَلِبَنِي إِيثَامَارَ لِبَيْتِ آبَائِهِمْ ثَمَانِيَةٌ.
5Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for they were princes of the sanctuary and princes of God, both of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
5وَٱنْقَسَمُوا بِٱلْقُرْعَةِ، هَؤُلَاءِ مَعَ هَؤُلَاءِ، لِأَنَّ رُؤَسَاءَ ٱلْقُدْسِ وَرُؤَسَاءَ بَيْتِ ٱللهِ كَانُوا مِنْ بَنِي أَلِعَازَارَ وَمِنْ بَنِي إِيثَامَارَ.
6And Shemaiah the son of Nethanel the scribe, who was of the Levites, wrote them in the presence of the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the heads of the fathers' houses of the priests and of the Levites: one father's house being taken for Eleazar, and proportionately for Ithamar.
6وَكَتَبَهُمْ شَمَعْيَا بْنُ نَثَنْئِيلَ ٱلْكَاتِبُ مِنَ ٱللَّاوِيِّينَ أَمَامَ ٱلْمَلِكِ وَٱلرُّؤَسَاءِ وَصَادُوقَ ٱلْكَاهِنِ وَأَخِيمَالِكَ بْنِ أَبِيَاثَارَ وَرُؤُوسِ ٱلْآبَاءِ لِلْكَهَنَةِ وَٱللَّاوِيِّينَ. فَأُخِذَ بَيْتُ أَبٍ وَاحِدٍ لِأَلِعَازَارَ، وَأُخِذَ وَاحِدٌ لِإِيثَامَارَ.
7Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah;
7فَخَرَجَتِ ٱلْقُرْعَةُ ٱلْأُولَى لِيَهُويَارِيبَ. ٱلثَّانِيَةُ لِيَدْعِيَا.
8the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim;
8ٱلثَّالِثَةُ لِحَارِيمَ. ٱلرَّابِعَةُ لِسَعُورِيمَ.
9the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin;
9ٱلْخَامِسَةُ لِمَلْكِيَّا. ٱلسَّادِسَةُ لِمَيَّامِينَ.
10the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah;
10ٱلسَّابِعَةُ لِهُقُّوصَ. ٱلثَّامِنَةُ لِأَبِيَّا.
11the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah;
11ٱلتَّاسِعَةُ لِيَشُوعَ. ٱلْعَاشِرَةُ لِشَكُنْيَا.
12the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim;
12ٱلْحَادِيَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِأَلِيَاشِيبَ. ٱلثَّانِيَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِيَاقِيمَ.
13the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab;
13ٱلثَّالِثَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِحُفَّةَ. ٱلرَّابِعَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِيَشَبْآبَ.
14the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer;
14ٱلْخَامِسَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِبَلْجَةَ. ٱلسَّادِسَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِإِيمِيرَ.
15the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez;
15ٱلسَّابِعَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِحِيزِيرَ. ٱلثَّامِنَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِهَفْصِيصَ.
16the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezkel;
16ٱلتَّاسِعَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِفَقَحْيَا. ٱلْعِشْرُونَ لِيَحَزْقِيئِيلَ.
17the one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul;
17ٱلْحَادِيَةُ وَٱلْعِشْرُونَ لِيَاكِينَ. ٱلثَّانِيةُ وَٱلْعِشْرُونَ لِجَامُولَ.
18the three and twentieth to Delaiah, the four and twentieth to Maaziah.
18ٱلثَّالِثَةُ وَٱلْعِشْرُونَ لِدَلَايَا. ٱلرَّابِعَةُ وَٱلْعِشْرُونَ لِمَعَزْيَا.
19These were the orderings of them in their service, to come into the house of the LORD according to the ordinance given unto them by the hand of Aaron their father, as the LORD, the God of Israel, had commanded him.
19فَهَذِهِ وَكَالَتُهُمْ وَخِدْمَتُهُمْ لِلدُّخُولِ إِلَى بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ حَسَبَ حُكْمِهِمْ عَنْ يَدِ هَارُونَ أَبِيهِمْ كَمَا أَمَرَهُ ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُ إِسْرَائِيلَ.
20And of the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.
20وَأَمَّا بَنُو لَاوِي ٱلْبَاقُونَ: فَمِنْ بَنِي عَمْرَامَ: شُوبَائِيلُ، وَمِنْ بَنِي شُوبَائِيلَ: يَحَدْيَا.
21Of Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, Isshiah the chief.
21وَأَمَّا رَحَبْيَا، فَمِنْ بَنِي رَحَبْيَا: ٱلرَّأْسُ يَشِّيَّا.
22Of the Izharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath.
22وَمِنَ ٱلْيِصْهَارِيِّينَ: شَلُومُوثُ، وَمِنْ بَنِي شَلُومُوثَ: يَحَثُ.
23And Benai, Jeriah, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
23وَمِنْ بَنِي حَبْرُونَ: يَرِيَّا وَأَمَرْيَا ٱلثَّانِي وَيَحْزِيئِيلُ ٱلثَّالِثُ وَيَقْمَعَامُ ٱلرَّابِعُ.
24The sons of Uzziel, Micah; of the sons of Micah, Shamir.
24مِنْ بَنِي عُزِّيئِيلَ: مِيخَا. مِنْ بَنِي مِيخَا: شَامُورُ.
25The brother of Micah, Isshiah; of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.
25أَخُو مِيخَا: يِشِّيَّا، وَمِنْ بَنِي يِشِّيَّا: زَكَرِيَّا.
26The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi; the sons of Jaaziah, his son,
26اِبْنَا مَرَارِي: مَحْلِي وَمُوشِي. اِبْنُ يَعَزْيَا بَنُو.
27even the sons of Merari through Jaaziah his son: Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.
27مِنْ بَنِي مَرَارِي لِيَعَزْيَا: بَنُو وَشُوهَمُ وَزَكُّورُ وَعِبْرِي.
28Of Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.
28مِنْ مَحْلِي: أَلِعَازَارُ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ بَنُونَ.
29Of Kish: the sons of Kish, Jerahmeel.
29وَأَمَّا قَيْسُ، فَٱبْنُ قَيْسَ يَرْحَمْئِيلُ.
30And the sons of Mushi: Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites after their fathers' houses.
30وَبَنُو مُوشِي: مَحْلِي وَعَادِرُ وَيَرِيمُوثُ. هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو ٱللَّاوِيِّينَ حَسَبَ بُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ.
31These likewise cast lots even as their brethren the sons of Aaron in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the heads of the fathers' houses of the priests and of the Levites; the fathers' houses of the chief even as those of his younger brother.
31وَأَلْقَوْا هُمْ أَيْضًا قُرَعًا مُقَابِلَ إِخْوَتِهِمْ بَنِي هَارُونَ أَمَامَ دَاوُدَ ٱلْمَلِكِ وَصَادُوقَ وَأَخِيمَالِكَ وَرُؤُوسِ آبَاءِ ٱلْكَهَنَةِ وَٱللَّاوِيِّينَ. ٱلْآبَاءُ ٱلرُّؤُوسُ كَمَا إِخْوَتِهِمِ ٱلْأَصَاغِرِ.
