1What shall we say, then? shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
1ⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϫⲟϥ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲉⲣϩⲟⲩ⳿ⲟ.
2God forbid. For we that are dead to sin, how shall we live any longer therein?
2⳿ⲛⲛⲉⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁⲛⲙⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲡⲱⲥ ⲟⲛ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲱⲛϧ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ.
3Know you not that all we, who are baptized in Christ Jesus, are baptized in his death?
3ϣⲁⲛ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ϧⲁ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁⲛϭⲓⲱⲙⲥ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉⲧⲁⲛϭⲓⲱⲙⲥ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉϥⲙⲟⲩ.
4For we are buried together with him by baptism into death; that as Christ is risen from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also may walk in newness of life.
4ⲁⲩⲕⲟⲥⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲱⲙⲥ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉϥⲙⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲱⲛϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲏⲉⲑⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ϩⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲙⲟϣⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲃⲉⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲱⲛϧ.
5For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection.
5ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛⲉⲣ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲱϫⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡ⳿ⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉⲛ⳿ⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲧⲉϥⲕⲉ⳿ⲁⲛⲁⲥⲧⲁⲥⲓⲥ.
6Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin may be destroyed, to the end that we may serve sin no longer.
6ⲉⲛ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉⲫⲁⲓ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲁⲡⲁⲥ ⲁⲩⲁϣϥ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥⲕⲱⲣϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⳿ⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙⲉⲣⲃⲱⲕ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ϫⲉ.
7For he that is dead is justified from sin.
7ⲫⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲙⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲙⲁⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁ ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ.
8Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall live also together with Christ:
8ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲛⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲱⲛϧ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ⲟⲛ.
9Knowing that Christ rising again from the dead, dieth now no more, death shall no more have dominion over him.
9ⲉⲛ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲱⲛϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲏⲉⲑⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⳿ϥⲛⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲫⲙⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲉⲣ⳪ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁⲛ.
10For in that he died to sin, he died once; but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God:
10ⲫⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲙⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲟⲡ ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉϥⲱⲛϧ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ϥⲱⲛϧ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ.
11So do you also reckon, that you are dead to sin, but alive unto God, in Christ Jesus our Lord.
11ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲱⲛϧ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉⲛ⳪.
12Let no sin therefore reign in your mortal body, so as to obey the lusts thereof.
12⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲛ⳿ⲑⲣⲉ ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲣⲟⲩⲣⲟ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲉϥ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓ⳿ⲁ.
13Neither yield ye your members as instruments of iniquity unto sin; but present yourselves to God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of justice unto God.
13ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲧⲁϩⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲡⲗⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯ⳿ⲁⲇⲓⲕⲓ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲙⲁⲧⲁϩⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲉⲩⲟⲛϧ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲡⲗⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ.
14For sin shall not have dominion over you; for you are not under the law, but under grace.
14⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲁⲉⲣ⳪ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲭⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ϧⲁ ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϧⲁ ⲡⲓ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ.
15What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
15ⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲛⲭⲏ ϧⲁ ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϧⲁ ⲡⲓ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ.
16Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are whom you obey, whether it be of sin unto death, or of obedience unto justice.
16ϣⲁⲛ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲁϩⲟ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲃⲱⲕ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲃⲱⲕ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⳿ⲓⲧⲉ ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲉⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⳿ⲓⲧⲉ ⳿ⲡⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ.
17But thanks be to God, that you were the servants of sin, but have obeyed from the heart, unto that form of doctrine, into which you have been delivered.
17⳿ⲡ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ϣⲏⲡ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⳿ⲙⲃⲱⲕ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲧⲩⲡⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁⲩϯ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ.
18Being then freed from sin, we have been made servants of justice.
18ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲣⲉⲙϩⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁ ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲃⲱⲕ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ.
19I speak an human thing, because of the infirmity of your flesh. For as you have yielded your members to serve uncleanness and iniquity, unto iniquity; so now yield your members to serve justice, unto sanctification.
19ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲡⲉϯϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲁϩⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲙⲃⲱⲕ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡϭⲱϧⲉⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϯ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓ⳿ⲁ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲛ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲙⲁⲧⲁϩⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲙⲃⲱⲕ ⳿ⲛ ϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ.
20For when you were the servants of sin, you were free men to justice.
20ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⳿ⲙⲃⲱⲕ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲛⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲣⲉⲙϩⲉ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ.
21What fruit therefore had you then in those things, of which you are now ashamed? For the end of them is death.
21ⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⲉⲛⲁϥϣⲟⲡ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲏⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϭⲓϣⲓⲡⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲧϧⲁ⳿ⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏ ⳿ⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ.
22But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, you have your fruit unto sanctification, and the end life everlasting.
22ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲣⲉⲙϩⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁ ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲃⲱⲕ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ ⳿ⲡϫⲱⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲱⲛϧ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲡⲉ.
23For the wages of sin is death. But the grace of God, life everlasting, in Christ Jesus our Lord.
23ⲛⲓⲟⲯⲱⲛⲓⲟⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⳿ⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲟⲩⲱⲛϧ ϣⲁ ⳿ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲡⲉ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉⲛ⳪
