1And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven, as it were for half an hour.
1Na Mwanakondoo alipouvunja mhuri wa saba, kukawa kimya mbinguni kwa muda wa nusu saa.
2And I saw seven angels standing in the presence of God; and there were given to them seven trumpets.
2Kisha nikawaona wale malaika saba wanaosimama mbele ya Mungu wamepewa tarumbeta saba.
3And another angel came, and stood before the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given to him much incense, that he should offer of the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar, which is before the throne of God.
3Malaika mwingine akafika, akiwa anachukua chetezo cha dhahabu, akasimama mbele ya madhabahu ya kufukizia ubani. Naye akapewa ubani mwingi autoe sadaka pamoja na sala za watu wote wa Mungu, juu ya madhabahu ya dhahabu iliyo mbele ya kiti cha enzi.
4And the smoke of the incense of the prayers of the saints ascended up before God from the hand of the angel.
4Moshi wa ubani ukapanda juu, pamoja na sala za watu wa Mungu, kutoka mikononi mwake huyo malaika aliyekuwa mbele ya Mungu.
5And the angel took the censer, and filled it with the fire of the altar, and cast it on the earth, and there were thunders and voices and lightnings, and a great earthquake.
5Kisha malaika akakichukua hicho chetezo, akakijaza moto wa madhabahuni akakitupa duniani. Kukawa na ngurumo, sauti, umeme na tetemeko la ardhi.
6And the seven angels, who had the seven trumpets, prepared themselves to sound the trumpet.
6Kisha wale malaika saba wenye tarumbeta saba wakajiweka tayari kupiga mbiu ya mgambo.
7And the first angel sounded the trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mingled with blood, and it was cast on the earth, and the third part of the earth was burnt up, and the third part of the trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
7Malaika wa kwanza akapiga tarumbeta yake. Mchanganyiko wa mvua ya mawe na moto, pamoja na damu, ukamwagwa juu ya nchi. Theluthi moja ya nchi ikaungua, theluthi moja ya miti ikaungua, na majani yote mabichi yakaungua.
8And the second angel sounded the trumpet: and as it were a great mountain, burning with fire, was cast into the sea, and the third part of the sea became blood:
8Malaika wa pili akapiga tarumbeta yake. Na kitu kama mlima mkubwa unaowaka moto ukatupwa baharini. Theluthi moja ya bahari ikawa damu,
9And the third part of those creatures died, which had life in the sea, and the third part of the ships was destroyed.
9theluthi moja ya viumbe vya baharini vikafa na theluthi moja ya meli zikaharibiwa.
10And the third angel sounded the trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, burning as it were a torch, and it fell on the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters:
10Kisha malaika wa tatu akapiga tarumbeta yake. Na nyota kubwa ikiwaka kama bonge la moto, ikaanguka kutoka mbinguni, na kutua juu ya theluthi moja ya mito na chemchemi za maji.
11And the name of the star is called Wormwood. And the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
11(Nyota hiyo inaitwa “Uchungu.”) Basi, theluthi moja ya maji yakawa machungu; watu wengi wakafa kutokana na maji hayo, kwa sababu yaligeuka kuwa machungu.
12And the fourth angel sounded the trumpet, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars, so that the third part of them was darkened, and the day did not shine for a third part of it, and the night in like manner.
12Kisha malaika wa nne akapiga tarumbeta yake. Ndipo theluthi moja ya jua, ya mwezi na ya nyota ikapata pigo; hata mwangaza ukapoteza theluthi moja ya mng'ao wake. Theluthi moja ya mchana ikakosa mwanga, hali kadhalika na theluthi moja ya usiku.
13And I beheld, and heard the voice of one eagle flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice: Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth: by reason of the rest of the voices of the three angels, who are yet to sound the trumpet.
13Kisha nikatazama, nikasikia tai akiruka juu kabisa angani anasema kwa sauti kubwa, “Ole, ole, ole kwa wanaoishi duniani wakati malaika watatu waliobaki watakapopiga tarumbeta zao!”
