Testamenta Marra (Dieri New Testament)
1Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl in your miseries, which shall come upon you.
1Mai, jura kana poto pirnanto, jindranau ja maritjianau jurani wangiwangindru, nau jurangu wokarala nganai!
2Your riches are corrupted: and your garments are motheaten.
2Jurani poto pirna karumuru pantjina warai, ja jurani kati kakatjieli matja tajina.
3Your gold and silver is cankered: and the rust of them shall be for a testimony against you, and shall eat your flesh like fire. You have stored up to yourselves wrath against the last days.
3Jurani mardatandra maralje ja mardatandra bulu karumuru pantjina warai, ja tanani karumuru jurangu malka nganala nganai, ja jurana turujeli jeribaka tajila nganai. Poto pirna jura kampana warai mudani ditjini.
4Behold the hire of the labourers, who have reaped down your fields, which by fraud has been kept back by you, crieth: and the cry of them hath entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.
4Mai, ngankanietjaia kalala, tanali jurani marundru jurani buka tandra kampana warai, tanani kalala jura mamana, maritjiai; ja wokaribanietjaia ngaiala Kaparani Zebaoth talpani wokarana warai.
5You have feasted upon earth: and in riotousness you have nourished your hearts, in the day of slaughter.
5Jura mirantjati nganana warai, ja madlentji ngamana warai mitani, ja jurani ngara mani ngankana warai, nandrani ditjini jeribaka.
6You have condemned and put to death the Just One, and he resisted you not.
6Jura kana talkuni kalala kurana warai ja naria nandrana warai, ja nulu jurana wata tjakakana warai.
7Be patient therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth: patiently bearing till he receive the early and latter rain.
7Manjujeli kalkanau, ngatata worajai, Kapara tikanantulu! Mai, mitaia ngankanietjali mitaia tandra ngumuni kalkai, ja manju nganai, nulu woldra talara ja kilpa talara maninantulu.
8Be you therefore also patient, and strengthen your hearts: for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
8Bakana jura manju kalkanau, ja ngara ngurunguru ngankaterianau, ngangau Kaparaia tikani karakara nganai!
9Grudge not, brethren, one against another, that you may not be judged. Behold the judge standeth before the door.
9Wata ngara wordu ngankijiribamalianimai, ngatata worajai, jura kalala maniati! Mai, kalala kuranietja manani terkala wapaia.
10Take, my brethren, for an example of suffering evil, of labour and patience, the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord.
10Ketjaketjanaia ja manjuja malka Propheta worana najianau, tanali Kaparaia talani kaukaubana wonti.
11Behold, we account them blessed who have endured. You have heard of the patience of Job, and you have seen the end of the Lord, that the Lord is merciful and compassionate.
11Mai, ngaiana tana jurakokai, tana wonki ngamana wonti. Hiobani manju jura ngarana warai, ja Kaparaia mudani jura najina wonti; ngangau Kapara murlali nganai ja kalumiltjamiltjariai.
12But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath. But let your speech be, yea, yea: no, no: that you fall not under judgment.
12Pratjanani ngopera, ngakani ngatata worajai, wata jaura morlalu kuranau, wata pariwilpani ja wata mitani, ja wata jaura morlalu pilki. Jurani kau nganananto kau, ja pani nganananto pani, ngangau jura kalalani puriati.
13Is any of you sad? Let him pray. Is he cheerful in mind? Let him sing.
13Kulno jurangundru ketjaketjanani, nau ngatjiaiatimai; kulno murlali ngananani, nulu Psalma wonkaiatimai.
14Is any man sick among you? Let him bring in the priests of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
14Kulno jurangundru muntja ngananani, nulu mili wolaraia pinaru karkaiatimai, tana nunkangundru ngatjinanto, ja gildieli wiribananto Kaparaia talani.
15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick man: and the Lord shall raise him up: and if he be in sins, they shall be forgiven him.
15Ja morlalu ngundranaia ngatjinali kana muntjani marangokala nganai, ja Kaparali nina terkibana tarala nganai, ja nulu madlentji matja ngankana, nulu kalingani manila nganai.
16Confess therefore your sins one to another: and pray one for another, that you may be saved. For the continual prayer of a just man availeth much.
16Madlentji dikijiribamalianimai ja ngatjilkijiribamalianimai, jura tepi pantjinanto. Kana talkuja ngatjini ngurunguru nganai marapu ngankala.
17Elias was a man passible like unto us: and with prayer he prayed that it might not rain upon the earth, and it rained not for three years and six months.
17Elias kana nganana wonti ngaianangu jeribaka, ja nau ngatjini kulno ngatjina wonti, talara wata godananto; ja talara wata godana wonti mitani kilpawoldra parkulu ja pira mara wora ja kulno.
18And he prayed again: and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
18Ja nakaldra nau ngatjina wonti, ja pariwilpali talara jinkina wonti, ja mitali tandra punkibana wonti.
19My brethren, if any of you err from the truth, and one convert him:
19Ngatata worajai, kulno jurangundru morlalundru tjiringanani, ja kulnujeli nina karitjimalkanani,
20He must know that he who causeth a sinner to be converted from the error of his way, shall save his soul from death, and shall cover a multitude of sins.
20Nau milkila nganananto, warle kana madlentji kulno nunkani tjiringani paltundru matja karitjimalkana, nulu mungara narindru kulkala nganai, ja madlentji marapu walpadakala nganai.
