1These are the precepts and judgments, that you must do in the land, which the Lord the God of thy fathers will give thee, to possess it all the days that thou shalt walk upon the earth.

2Destroy all the places in which the nations, that you shall possess, worshipped their gods upon high mountains, and hills, and under every shady tree:
2Na haek uh namtom rhoek loh tho a thueng nah hmuen boeih te milh rhoe milh sak uh. Amih kah pathen te tlang ah khaw, som ah khaw, thing hing hmui boeih ah a pomsang uh lah ko.
3Overthrow their altars, and break down their statues, burn their groves with fire, and break their idols in pieces: destroy their names out of those places.
3A hmueihtuk te palet lamtah a kaam te phaek uh. Amih kah Asherah te hmai neh hoeh uh. Amih kah pathen mueidaep te khaw tloek uh. A ming te te hmuen lamloh phae uh.
4You shall not do so to the Lord your God:
4BOEIPA na Pathen taengah te bang te saii uh boeh.
5But you shall come to the place, which the Lord your God shall choose out of all your tribes, to put his name there, and to dwell in it:
5Tedae BOEIPA na Pathen loh amah ming a phuk tih khosak thil ham a coelh hmuen te mah nangmih koca boeih loh tlap uh lamtah paan uh.
6And you shall offer in that place your holocausts and victims, the tithes and firstfruits of your hands and your vows and gifts, the firstborn of your herds and your sheep.
6Te lam te na hmueihhlutnah neh hmueih khaw, parha pakhat neh na kut dongkah khocang khaw, na olcaeng neh na kothoh khaw, na saelhung neh na boiva cacuek te khaw khuen uh.
7And you shall eat there in the sight of the Lord your God: and you shall rejoice in all things, whereunto you shall put your hand, you and your houses wherein the Lord your God hath blessed you.
7BOEIPA na Pathen kah mikhmuh ah ca uh. BOEIPA na Pathen loh na yoe han then sak vanbangla namamih neh na imkhui kah na kut thuengnah boeih dongah na kohoe sak uh.
8You shall not do there the things we do here this day, every man that which seemeth good to himself.
8Tihnin kah he rhoek ah mamih boeih loh n'saii uh bangla saii uh boeh. Hlang he amah mikhmuh ah boeih thuem ta.
9For until this present time you are not come to refit, and to the possession, which the Lord your God will give you.
9Duemnah neh BOEIPA na Pathen loh nang taengah m'paek rho khuiah na kun uh pawt ve.
10You shall pass over the Jordan, and shall dwell in the land which the Lord your God will give you, that you may have rest from all enemies round about: and may dwell without any fear,
10Jordan na poeng uh tih BOEIPA na Pathen loh nangmih m'pang sak khohmuen la na om uh vaengah a kaepvai kah na thunkha cungkuem taeng lamloh nangmih n'duem sak vetih ngaikhuek la kho na sak uh bitni.
11In the place, which the Lord your God shall choose, that his name may be therein. Thither shall you bring all the things that I command you, holocausts, and victims, and tithes, and the firstfruits of your hands: and whatsoever is the choicest in the gifts which you shall vow to the Lord.
11Tedae BOEIPA na Pathen loh amah ming om sak ham amah taengah a coelh hmuen te om bitni. Teah tah kai loh nangmih kang uen vanbangla na hmueihhlutnah neh na hmueih khaw, parha pakhat neh na kut dongkah khocang khaw, BOEIPA taengah na caeng, olcaeng piyawn boeih khaw boeih khuen uh.
12There shall you feast before the Lord your God, you and your sons and your daughters, your menservants and maid-servants, and the Levite that dwelleth in your cities. For he hath no other part and possession among you.
12Te vaengah namamih neh na canu na capa rhoek khaw, na salpa neh na salnu rhoek khaw, nangmih bangla khoyo neh rho om pawt tih na vongka khuiah aka om Levi rhoek khaw BOEIPA na Pathen kah mikhmuh ah na kohoe sak uh.
13Beware lest thou offer thy holocausts in every place that thou shalt see:
13Namah te ngaithuen, na hmuh bangla hmuen cungkuem ah na hmueihhlutnah na tloeng ve.
14But in the place which the Lord shall choose in one of thy tribes shalt thou offer sacrifices. and shalt do all that I command thee.
14Namah koca pakhat khuiah BOEIPA kah a coelh hmuen bueng ah ni na hmueihhlutnah te na nawn vetih kang uen bangla boeih na saii eh.
15But if thou desirest to eat, and the eating of flesh delight thee, kill, and eat according to the blessing of the Lord thy God, which he hath given thee, in thy cities: whether it be unclean, that is to say, having blemish or defect: or clean, that is to say, sound and without blemish, such as may be offered, as the roe, and the hart, shalt thou eat it:
15Tedae na hinglu loh a hue boeih te ngawn lamtah BOEIPA na Pathen loh nang m'paek yoethennah maeh la ca. Na vongka khuikah boeih te tah rhalawt neh a cuem khaw rhangrhaeh bangla, kirhang bangla ca saeh.
16Only the blood thou shalt not eat, but thou shalt pour it out upon the earth as water.
16Tedae thii te tah ca boeh. Diklai dongah tui bangla hawk.
17Thou mayst not eat in thy towns the tithes of thy corn, and thy wine, and thy oil, the firstborn of thy herds and thy cattle, nor any thing that thou vowest, and that thou wilt offer voluntarily, and the firstfruits of thy hands:
17Na cangpai, misur thai, situi parha pakhat khaw, na saelhung neh boiva cacuek, na caeng tangtae na olcaeng boeih, na kothoh neh na kut dongkah khosaa tah na vongka ah na caak ham coeng pawh.
18But thou shalt eat them before the Lord thy God in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, thou and thy son and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and maidservant, and the Levite that dwelleth in thy cities: and thou shalt rejoice and be refreshed before the Lord thy God in all things, whereunto thou shalt put thy hand.
18Namah neh na canu na capa long khaw, na salnu salpa long khaw, na vongka khuiah aka om Levi long khaw, BOEIPA na Pathen kah mikhmuh ah ca uh. Tekah a hmuen te tah BOEIPA na Pathen amah long ni a tuek. Te dongah na kut thuengnah boeih nen khaw BOEIPA na Pathen kah mikhmuh ah na kohoe sak uh.
19Take heed thou forsake not the Levite all the time that thou livest in the land.
19Namah te ngaithuen. na khohmuen kah na hing tue khuiah Levi rhoek te na hnoo ve ne.
20When the Lord thy God shall have enlarged thy borders, as he hath spoken to thee, and thou wilt eat the flesh that thy soul desireth:
20Nang taengkah a thui vanbangla BOEIPA na Pathen loh na khorhi hang aeh vaengah na hinglu loh maeh caak hamla a nai tih, “Maeh ka caak lah sue,” na ti oeh atah na hinglu loh a hue mebang maeh khaw na caak thai.
21And if the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, that his name should be there, be far off, thou shalt kill of thy herds and of thy flocks, as I have commanded thee, and shalt eat in thy towns, as it pleaseth thee.
21BOEIPA na Pathen loh amah ming phuk thil ham a coelh hmuen te nang lamloh hlavak oeh tih, BOEIPA loh nang m'paek saelhung neh boiva ni na ngawn atah, kang uen vanbangla na hinglu loh a hue bangla namah vongka ah khaw ca mai.
22Even as the roe and the hart is eaten, so shalt thou eat them: both the clean and unclean shall eat of them alike.
22Rhangrhaeh neh kirhang na caak bangla ca saeh lamtah rhalawt akhaw a cuem akhaw rhenten ca saeh.
23Only beware of this, that thou eat not the blood, for the blood is for the soul: and therefore thou must not eat the soul with the flesh:
23Tedae a thii tah hinglu la a om dongah thii te caak pawt ham tuem uh. A hinglu te maeh neh hmaih ca boeh.
24But thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water,
24Te te ca boel lamtah diklai dongah tui bangla hawk.
25That it may be well with thee and thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is pleasing in the sight of the Lord.
25Na caak pawt daengah ni BOEIPA mikhmuh ah a thuem la a saii vetih namah neh namah hnukkah na ca rhoek loh khophoeng a pha eh.
26But the things which thou hast sanctified and vowed to the Lord, thou shalt take, and shalt come to the place which the Lord shall choose:
26Tedae namah taengkah aka om hnocim neh na olcaeng tah khuen lamtah BOEIPA kah a coelh hmuen te mah paan puei.
27And shalt offer thy oblations the flesh and the blood upon the altar of the Lord thy God: the blood of thy victims thou shalt pour on the altar: and the flesh thou thyself shalt eat.
27Na hmueihhlutnah maeh neh thii te BOEIPA na Pathen kah hmueihtuk soah nawn. Tedae na hmueih thii te BOEIPA na Pathen kah hmueihtuk dongah hawk lamtah a saa tah ca mai.
28Observe and hear all the things that I command thee, that it may be well with thee and thy children after thee for ever, when thou shalt do what is good and pleasing in the sight of the Lord thy God.
28Kai loh nang kang uen olka boeih he ngaithuen lamtah hnatun. Te daengah ni BOEIPA na Pathen kah mikhmuh ah a thuem neh a then la na saii vetih namah neh na hnukkah na ca rhoek long khaw kumhal duela khophoeng a pha eh.
29When the Lord thy God shall have destroyed before thy face the nations, which then shalt go in to possess, and when thou shalt possess them, and dwell in their land:
29Namtom haek ham na paan vaengah BOEIPA na Pathen loh na mikhmuh lamkah a tulnoi coeng. Te dongah ni amih te na haek tih a khohmuen ah kho na sak.
30Beware lest thou imitate them, after they are destroyed at thy coming in, and lest thou seek after their ceremonies, saying: As these nations have worshipped their gods, so will I also worship.
30Namah te ngaithuen, na mikhmuh lamkah amih a mitmoeng sak phoeiah amih hnukah n'hlaeh ve. Te dongah, “Namtom rhoek loh a pathen taengah metlam a tho a thueng uh, kai long khaw ka saii van mako?,” aka ti hamla amih kah pathen kawng te na toem ve.
31Thou shalt not do in like manner to the Lord thy God. For they have done to their gods all the abominations which the Lord abhorreth, offering their sons and daughters, and burning them with fire.
31BOEIPA kah a tueilaehkoi boeih te tah BOEIPA na Pathen taengah saii boeh. A pathen taengah hmai neh a canu a capa a hoeh uh tih a pathen ham a saii uh te a hmuhuet.
32What I command thee, that only do thou to the Lord: neither add any thing, nor diminish.
32Kai loh nang kang uen olka boeih he na saii tih na thap pawt ham neh na yueh pawt hamla ngaithuen.
