1In the three and twentieth year of Joas son of Ochozias king of Juda, Joachaz the son of Jehu reigned over Israel in Samaria, seventeen years.
1ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် အာခဇိ သား ယောရှ နန်းစံ နှစ်ဆယ် သုံး နှစ် တွင် ၊ ယေဟု သား ယောခတ် သည် ရှမာရိ မြို့၌ မင်းပြု၍ ဣသရေလ နိုင်ငံကို ဆယ် ခုနစ် နှစ် စိုးစံ၏
2And he did evil before the Lord, and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nabat, who made Israel to sin, and he departed not from them.
2ထိုမင်းသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ဒုစရိုက် ကိုပြု ၍ ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို ပြစ်မှား စေသော နေဗတ် သား ယေရောဗောင် ၏ ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ် တို့ကို မ ရှောင် ၊ လိုက် လေ၏
3And the wrath of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into the hand of Hazael the king of Syria, and into the hand of Benadad the son of Hazael all days.
3ထိုကြောင့် ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို အမျက် ထွက် ၍ ၊ ယောခတ်မင်း လက်ထက်ကာလပတ်လုံး၊ ရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဟာဇေလ နှင့် သူ၏သား ဗင်္ဟာဒဒ် လက် သို့ ဣသရေလအမျိုးကို အပ် တော်မူ၏
4But Joachaz besought the face of the Lord, and the Lord heard him: for he saw the distress of Israel, because the king of Syria had oppressed them:
4တဖန် ယောခတ် သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ကို တောင်းပန် လေ၏။ ရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် ညှဉ်းဆဲ ၍ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသည် အလွန် ခံရကြောင်း ကို ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မြင် ၍ ယောခတ်စကားကို နားထောင် တော်မူ၏
5And the Lord gave Israel a saviour, and they were delivered out of the hand of the king of Syria: and the children of Israel dwelt in their pavilions as yesterday and the day before.
5ရှုရိ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ကို ဖျက်ဆီး ၍ ၊ စပါးနင်း ရာတွင် လွင့်သောအမှုန့် ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ် စေသဖြင့် ၊ မြင်းစီး သူရဲ၊ ငါးကျိပ် ၊ ရထား တဆယ် ၊ ခြေ သည်သူရဲတသောင်း ကိုသာ ယောခတ် ၌ ကြွင်း စေ၏
6But yet they departed not from the sins of Jeroboam, who made Israel to sin, but walked in them: and there still remained a grove also in Samaria.
6ထို့ကြောင့် ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ကယ်တင် သော သခင်ကိုပေး တော်မူသဖြင့် ၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ သည် ရှုရိလူတို့လက် မှ ထွက်မြောက် ၍ အထက် ကနည်းတူ မိမိ တို့နေရာ ၌ နေ ရကြ၏
7And Joachaz had no more left of the people than fifty horsemen, and ten chariots, and ten thousand footmen: for the king of Syria had slain them, and had brought them low as dust by thrashing in the barnfloor.
7သို့ရာတွင် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို ပြစ်မှား စေသော ယေရောဗောင် မင်းမျိုး ၏ ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ် တို့ကို မ ရှောင် ၊ လိုက်ကြ၏။ ရှမာရိ မြို့၌ လည်း အာရှရ ပင် ရှိသေး၏
8Rut the rest of the acts of Joachaz, and all that he did, and his valour, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Israel?
8ယောခတ် ပြု မူသော အမှု အရာကြွင်း လေသမျှ တို့နှင့် တန်ခိုး ကြီးခြင်းအရာသည် ဣသရေလ ရာဇဝင် ၌ ရေးထား လျက်ရှိ၏
9And Joachaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in Samaria: and Joas his son reigned in his stead.
9ယောခတ် သည် ဘိုးဘေး တို့နှင့် အိပ်ပျော် ၍ ၊ ရှမာရိ မြို့၌ သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ခြင်းကိုခံ လေ၏။ သားတော် ယဟောရှ သည် ခမည်းတော် အရာ ၌ နန်း ထိုင်၏
10In the seven and thirtieth year of Joas king of Juda, Joas the son of Joachaz reigned over Israel in Samaria sixteen years.
10ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် ယောရှ နန်းစံ သုံးဆယ် ခုနစ် နှစ် တွင် ၊ ယောခတ် သား ယဟောရှ သည် ရှမာရိ မြို့၌ မင်းပြု၍ ဣသရေလ နိုင်ငံကို ဆယ် ခြောက် နှစ် စိုးစံ၏
11And he did that which is evil in the sight of the Lord: he departed not from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nabat, who made Israel to sin, but he walked in them.
11ထိုမင်းသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ဒုစရိုက် ကို ပြု ၍ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို ပြစ်မှား စေသော နေဗတ် သား ယေရောဗောင် ၏ ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ် ကိုမ ရှောင် ၊ အကုန်အစင် လိုက်လေ၏
12But the rest of the acts of Joas, and all that he did, and his valour wherewith he fought against Amasias king of Juda, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Israel?
12ယဟောရှ ပြုမူသော အမှု အရာကြွင်း လေသမျှ ၊ ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် အာမဇိ ကို စစ်တိုက် ရာတွင် ၊ တန်ခိုးကြီးခြင်း အရာသည် ဣသရေလရာဇဝင်၌ ရေးထားလျက်ရှိ၏
13And Joas slept with his fathers: and Jeroboam sat upon his throne. But Joas was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel.
13ယဟောရှ သည် ဘိုးဘေး တို့နှင့် အိပ်ပျော် ၍ ၊ ဣသရေလ ရှင် ဘုရင်တို့နှင့်အတူ ရှမာရိ မြို့၌ သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ခြင်း ကိုခံ လေ၏။ သားတော်ယေရောဗောင် သည် ခမည်းတော် အရာ ၌ နန်းထိုင် ၏
14Now Eliseus was sick of the illness whereof he died: and Joas king of Israel went down to him, and wept before him, and said: O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel and the guider thereof.
14ထိုအခါ ဧလိရှဲ သည် သေနာ စွဲ၍ နာ နေစဉ် တွင်၊ ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ယဟောရှ သည်လာ ၍ သူ့ ရှေ့ မှာ ငိုကြွေး လျက် ငါ့ အဘ ၊ ငါ့ အဘ ၊ ဣသရေလ ရထား ၊ ဣသရေလ မြင်း ပါတကားဟု ဆို ၏
15And Eliseus said to him: Bring a bow and arrows. And when he had brought him a bow, and arrows,
15ဧလိရှဲ ကလည်း ၊ လေး နှင့် မြှား တို့ကို ယူ လော့ဟု ဆို သည်အတိုင်း ရှင်ဘုရင်ယူ ၏
16He said to the king of Israel: Put thy hand upon the bow. And when he had put his hand, Eliseus put his hands over the king’s hands,
16လေး ကိုတင် လော့ဟု တဖန် ဆို သည်အတိုင်း လေးကိုတင် ၍ ၊ ဧလိရှဲ သည် မိမိ လက် ကို ရှင်ဘုရင် လက် ပေါ် မှာ တင် လျက်၊ “
17And said: Open the window to the east. And when he had opened it, Eliseus said: Shoot an arrow. And he shot. And Eliseus said: The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance, and the arrow of the deliverance from Syria: and thou shalt strike the Syrians in Aphec, till thou consume them.
17အရှေ့ ပြတင်းပေါက် ကို ဖွင့် လော့ဟုဆို ၍ ဖွင့် လေ၏။ ပစ် လော့ဟုဆို သည်အတိုင်း ရှင်ဘုရင်သည် ပစ် လေ၏။ ဧလိရှဲ ကလည်း ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ကယ်တင် တော်မူရာမြှား ၊ ရှုရိ မင်းလက်မှ ကယ်နှုတ် ရာမြှား ဖြစ်၏။ အာဖက် မြို့၌ ရှုရိ လူတို့ကို အကုန်အစင် လုပ်ကြံ ရ လိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆို ၏
18And he said: Take the arrows. And when he had taken them, he said to him: Strike with an arrow upon the ground. And he struck three times and stood still.
18မြှား တို့ကိုယူ ဦးလော့ဟု တဖန် ဆို သည်အတိုင်း ၊ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် ယူ ၏။ မြေ ပေါ်သို့ ရိုက် လော့ဟုဆို ၍ သုံး ကြိမ် ရိုက် လေ၏
19And the man of God was angry with him, and said: If thou hadst smitten five or six or seven times, thou hadst smitten Syria even to utter destruction: but now three times shalt thou smite it.
19ထိုအခါ ဘုရား သခင်၏လူ သည် အမျက် ထွက်၍ ၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ငါး ကြိမ်ခြောက် ကြိမ်မရိုက် သနည်း။ ထိုသို့ရိုက်လျှင်၊ ရှုရိ လူတို့ကို အကုန်အစင်လုပ်ကြံ ရ လိမ့်မည်။ ယခု မူကား ၊ သုံး ကြိမ် သာ လုပ်ကြံ ရလိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆို ၏
20And Eliseus died, and they buried him. And the rovers from Moab came into the land the same year.
20ဧလိရှဲ သေ ၍ သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ခြင်းကိုခံပြီးမှ ၊ နောင် နှစ် တွင် မောဘ တပ်သား တို့သည် ဣသရေလပြည် ကို တိုက်လာ ကြ၏
21And some that were burying a man, saw the rovers, and cast the body into the sepulchre of Eliseus. And when it had touched the bones of Eliseus, the man came to life, and stood upon his feet.
21ဣသရေလလူတို့သည် လူ တယောက်ကို သင်္ဂြိုဟ် စဉ်တွင်၊ မောဘတပ် လာသည်ကို မြင် ၍ ၊ အလောင်းကို ဧလိရှဲ သင်္ချိုင်း တွင်း၌ ချ ထားကြ၏။ သေသောသူသည် အောက်သို့ရောက်၍၊ ဧလိရှဲ အရိုး တို့ကို ထိ သောအခါ ၊ အသက်ရှင် ပြန်သဖြင့် မတ်တတ်ထ ၏
22Now Hazael king of Syria afflicted Israel all the days of Joachaz:
22ရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဟာဇေလ သည် ယောခတ် လက်ထက် ကာလပတ်လုံး ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို ညှဉ်းဆဲ ၏
23And the Lord had mercy on them, and returned to them because of his covenant, which he had made with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob: and he would not destroy them, nor utterly cast them away, unto this present time.
23ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သူ တို့ကို သနား စုံမက်၍ အာဗြဟံ ၊ ဣဇာက် ၊ ယာကုပ် တို့နှင့် ဖွဲ့တော်မူခဲ့သော ပဋိညာဉ် ကို အောက်မေ့ လျက် သူ တို့ကို မ ဖျက်ဆီး ၊ အထံ တော်မှ မ နှင်ထုတ် သေးဘဲ ကြည့်ရှု ပြုစုတော်မူ၏
24And Hazael king of Syria died, and Benadad his son reigned in his stead.
24ရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဟာဇေလ သေ ၍ ၊ သားတော် ဗင်္ဟာဒဒ် သည် ခမည်းတော် အရာ ၌ နန်း ထိုင်၏
25Now Joas the son of Joachaz, took the cities out of the hand of Benadad, the son of Hazael, which he had taken out of the hand of Joachaz his father by war, three times did Joas beat him, and he restored the cities to Israel.
25ဟာဇေလသည် စစ်တိုက်၍ ယောခတ် မင်း လက် မှ နှုတ်ယူ သော မြို့ ရွာတို့ကို ယောခတ် သား ယဟောရှ သည် ဟာဇေလ သား ဗင်္ယာဒဒ် လက် မှ နှုတ်ယူ ၏။ သုံး ကြိမ် တိုင်အောင်ယဟောရှ သည်နိုင်၍ ဣသရေလ မြို့ ရွာတို့ကို ရပြန်လေ၏
