Testamenta Marra (Dieri New Testament)
Douay-Rheims Bible, American Edition (1899)
1Ja malka pirna pariwilpani wondraterina wonti: Widla kulno, ditji pirna matja widmaterina, ja ditji pira nankangu tidnani, ja nankangu mangatandrani pirapira ditji waka marapratjana ja mandrundru.
1And a great sign appeared in heaven: A woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars:
2Ja nani mandrantju nganana wonti, ja kupa dankani ketjaketjanani nani maritjina wonti.
2And being with child, she cried travailing in birth, and was in pain to be delivered.
3Ja malka kulno nguru pariwilpani wondraterina wonti, ja mai, Dracha pirna maralje turu jeribaka, nau mangatandra mara wora ja mandru ja jurietja marapratjana ngamalkana wonti, ja nunkani mangatandra worani Diadema mara wora ja mandru;
3And there was seen another sign in heaven: and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads, and ten horns: and on his head seven diadems:
4Ja nulu nurali nunkanali pariwilpaia ditji wakaia buru parkulandru kulno tarpana wonti, ja tanana mitani worana wonti. Ja Dracha widlani mudlani terkana wonti, nandru dankananto, nulu kupa nankani julkananto, nandru matja dankana warai.
4And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to be delivered; that, when she should be delivered, he might devour her son.
5Ja nandru kupa kanku kantji patana wonti, nulu kana wolara warupoto marda pitali ngamalkananto. Ja kupa nankani ngaramarlarina wonti Godani ja nunkani ngamani pirini.
5And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with an iron rod: and her son was taken up to God, and to his throne.
6Ja widla pitaraia japa mindrina wonti, naka nandru piri kulno ngamalkana wonti, nina Godali nankangu ngankingana wonti, nani naka tepirinanto 1,260 ditji. (Dakani jaura Michaelis ditjini.)
6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she had a place prepared by God, that there they should feed her a thousand two hundred sixty days.
7Ja tirimalini pariwilpani nganana wonti; Michael ja angela wolara nunkani tirimalina wonti Drachani; ja Drachali ja angela wolara nunkani tirimalina wonti,
7And there was a great battle in heaven, Michael and his angels fought with the dragon, and the dragon fought and his angels:
8Ja tana wata ngurunguru nganana wonti, ja wata morla piri tanangu pariwilpani nganana wonti.
8And they prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9Ja Nulia Dracha pirna, nina tjutju waru, jenia wondrai kutji ja Satan, nulu mita maru karkarkai, mitani worana wonti, ja bakana nunkani angela nunkangunto worana wonti.
9And that great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, who seduceth the whole world; and he was cast unto the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
10Ja ngato ngaiala pirna pariwilpani ngarana wonti jatanani: „Karari murla ja ngurula ja milila Godaia ngaiananaia ja ngurungurula nunkani Christuja pantjina warai; ngangau ngaiananaia ngatataia ngulkuterkanietja matja teribana warai, nau tanangundru ngulkuterkai Godani ditjini ja tinkani.
10And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying: Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: because the accuser of our brethren is cast forth, who accused them before our God day and night.
11Ja tanali nina kalalu ngankana warai Tjipi kuparaia kumarandru, ja tanani tinkari ngankanaia jaurandru, ja tanali tanani tepi wata ngantjana warai narielu.
11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of the testimony, and they loved not their lives unto death.
12Jendrangundruja jurakokanau jura pariwilpa worajai, ja jura, jura tanangu ngamai! Jakajai mitani ja panto pirnani, ngangau kutji ngarina warai jurangu, tiri pirna, ngangau nulu ngujamai, miljaru nunkani wordu nganai.“
12Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you that dwell therein. Woe to the earth, and to the sea, because the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, knowing that he hath but a short time.
13Ja Dracha najinani, Nulia nina mitani matja puribana, nau nankangu widlani tirikaripaterina wonti, nandru kupa kanku matja dankana warai.
13And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman, who brought forth the man child:
14Ja widlali karawara ngaru mandru manina wonti, nani pitaraia nankani piria tarananto, naka nani tepirinanto miljaru kulno ja miljaru mandru ja miljaru jura, tjutjuni mudlani kurukuru worita.
14And there were given to the woman two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the desert unto her place, where she is nourished for a time and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
15Ja tjutjujeli widlani ngadani nunkani manandru ngapa dunkalkana wonti ngapa kaiari jeribaka, nana ngapa kaiarali waltananto.
15And the serpent cast out of his mouth after the woman, water as it were a river; that he might cause her to be carried away by the river.
16Ja mitali widlani marangokana wonti; ja mita mana terkana wonti, ja ngapa kaiari julkana wonti, nina Drachali manandru dunkalkana warai.
16And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the river, which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
17Ja Dracha widlani tiri pantjina wonti, ja wapana wonti tirimalila nankanani kupa wolarani, tanali Godaia jirijiribani jaura ngamalkijiribai, ja Jesuni tinkari ngankani ngamalkai.
17And the dragon was angry against the woman: and went to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
18Ja ngani panto pirnaia dirkalani ngalarani terkana wonti.
18And he stood upon the sand of the sea.
