Psalms 131

Berean Standard Bible
Tongan Bible, Revised West Version
1My heart is not proud, O LORD, my eyes are not haughty. I do not aspire to great things or matters too lofty for me.
1‌ʻE Sihova, ʻoku ʻikai fielahi hoku loto, pe fieʻeiki hoku mata: pea ʻoku ʻikai te u kau ʻi he ngaahi meʻa lalahi, pe ʻi he ngaahi meʻa ʻoku māʻolunga hake ʻiate au.
2Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.
2Ko e moʻoni kuo u fakafiemālieʻi mo fakanaʻanaʻaʻi au, ʻo hangē ko e tamasiʻi kuo fakamāvae mei heʻene faʻē: ʻoku tatau hoku laumālie mo e tamasiʻi kuo fakamāvae.
3O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, both now and forevermore.
3Tuku ke ʻamanaki lelei ʻa ʻIsileli kia Sihova, mei he ʻaho ni pea taʻengata.
