2 John 1

Berean Standard Bible
Baibala Hemolele (Hawaiian Bible, 1868 revision)
1The elder, To the chosen lady and her children, whom I love in the truth—and not I alone, but also all who know the truth—
1NA ka Lunakahiko i ka wahine aloha a me kana mau keiki i alohaia e au ma ka oiaio; aole e au wale no, aka, e ka poe a pau i ike i ka oiaio;
2because of the truth that abides in us and will be with us forever:
2No ka oiaio e noho ana iloko o kakou, a e mau loa aku no hoi iloko o kakou;
3Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, will be with us in truth and love.
3E alohaia mai oukou, a e lokomaikaiia mai, a e maluhia hoi e ke Akua ka Makua, a me ka Haku o Iesu Kristo ke Keiki a ka Makua, ma ka oiaio a me ke aloha.
4I was overjoyed to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father has commanded us.
4Ua hauoli nui aku au i ko'u ike ana i kekahi o kau poe keiki e hele ana ma ka oiaio, e like me ke kauoha i loaa ia kakou, mai ka Makua mai.
5And now I urge you, dear lady—not as a new commandment to you, but one we have had from the beginning—that we love one another.
5Ano la ke nonoi aku nei au ia oe, e ka wahine, aole me ka palapala ana aku ia oe i ke kanawai hou, aka, o ka mea i loaa mai ia makou mai kinohi mai, i aloha kakou i kekahi i kekahi.
6And this is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the very commandment you have heard from the beginning, that you must walk in love.
6Eia no ke aloha, i hele kakou ma kana mau kauoha. Eia no ke kauoha, e like me ko oukou lohe ana, mai kinohi mai, i hele oukou malaila.
7For many deceivers have gone out into the world, refusing to confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.
7No ka mea, ua komo mai i ke ao nei ka poe wahahee he nui wale, aole lakou i hooiaio i ko Iesu Kristo hiki ana mai ma ke kino; oia no ka wahahee a me ke Anikristo.
8Watch yourselves, so that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be fully rewarded.
8E malama pono ia oukou iho, i lilo ole ka makou mea i hana'i, aka, i loaa hoi ia makou ka uku a pau.
9Anyone who runs ahead without remaining in the teaching of Christ does not have God. Whoever remains in His teaching has both the Father and the Son.
9O ka mea i hana hewa, aole hoi i noho ma ka olelo a ka Mesia, aole no ke Akua ia: o ka mea e noho ana ma ka olelo a ka Mesia, nona no ka Makua a me Keiki.
10If anyone comes to you but does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your home or even greet him.
10Ina e hele mai kekahi io oukou la, aole i halihali mai i ua olelo la, mai hookipa oukou ia ia iloko o ka hale, aole hoi o i aku ia ia, Aloha.
11Whoever greets such a person shares in his evil deeds.
11No ka mea, o ka mea e i ae ia ia, Aloha; he hoalawehana ia ma kana hana ino ana.
12I have many things to write to you, but I would prefer not to do so with paper and ink. Instead, I hope to come and speak with you face to face, so that our joy may be complete.
12Nui no ka'u mea e palapala aku ai ia oukou, aole au i makemake ma ka pepa a me ka inika; no ka mea, he manaolana ko'u e hele aku io oukou la, e kamailio pu, he waha no he waha, i nui ai ko kakou olioli ana.
13The children of your elect sister send you greetings.
13Ke uwe aku nei ia oe na keiki a kou hoahanau wahine aloha. Amene.
