1If any of you has a grievance against another, how dare he go to law before the unrighteous instead of before the saints!
1Fin oasr alein inmasrlon sie suwos ac sie pac mwet Christian, mwe mea elan usak nu ye mutun mwet nununku lun mwet pegan, ac tia sang nu sin mwet lun God in aksuwosye?
2Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases?
2Mea, kowos tia etu lah mwet lun God pa ac nununku faclu? Na fuka, kowos fin ac nununku faclu, ya kowos tia ku in nununku alein srisrik?
3Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!
3Ya kowos tia etu lah kut ac nununku pac lipufan uh? Na kalem lah kut arulana yolyak in nununku ma lun moul se inge!
4So if you need to settle everyday matters, do you appoint as judges those of no standing in the church?
4Kain ouiya inge fin sikyak, ya kowos ac usak in nununkeyuk sin mwet su tia mwet in church?
5I say this to your shame. Is there really no one among you wise enough to arbitrate between his brothers?
5Mea, kowos tia mwekin? Ya pwaye lah wangin sie mwet lalmwetmet inmasrlowos su ku in akmisyela alein inmasrlon mwet Christian?
6Instead, one brother goes to law against another, and this in front of unbelievers!
6A kowos tiana oru ouiya — sie mwet lulalfongi el usak mwet lulalfongi se wial nu ke nien nununku, ac sang tuh sie mwet tia lulalfongi in orekma kac.
7The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means that you are thoroughly defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?
8Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, even against your own brothers!
8Kowos tia sruhk muteng lumah ouinge, a kowos sifacna forang ac pisre ac kutasrik nu sin mwet lulalfongi wiowos.
9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who submit to or perform homosexual acts,
9Kowos arulana etu lah mwet koluk fah tia wi ipeis ke Tokosrai lun God. Nimet kiapwekowos sifacna; mwet orekma kupatol, ku alu nu ke ma sruloala, ku kosro, ku oru ouiya sufal inmasrlon mukul nu sin mukul,
10nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
10ku pisrapasr, ku rapku, ku sruhi, ku kaskas in akkolukye mwet, ku pisrapasr sulallal — wangin sin kain mwet inge fah ipeis ke Tokosrai lun God.
11And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
11Kutu suwos tuh moul ouinge meet. Tusruktu kowos aknasnasyeyukla tari liki ma koluk; kowos kisakinyukyang nu sin God; ac Leum Jesus Christ, oayapa Ngun lun God lasr, aksuwosye kowos ye mutun God.
12“Everything is permissible for me,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible for me,” but I will not be mastered by anything.
12Kutu suwos fahk, “Wangin ma sap sruokyu in oru kutena ma nga lungse.” Pwaye, tusruktu tia ma nukewa wo nu sum. Nga ku pac in fahk mu wangin ma sap sruokyu in oru kutena ma nga lungse, tusruktu nga ac tia fuhlela kutena ma in oru tuh nga in mwet kohs nu kac.
13“Food for the stomach and the stomach for food,” but God will destroy them both. The body is not intended for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
13Oasr pac mwet ac fahk, “Mwe mongo uh ma nu insia, ac insia uh ma in eis mwe mongo.” Pwaye, tusruktu God El ac kunausla kewana ma luo inge. Mano uh tia ma in orekmakinyuk nu ke inkanek in kosro, a in mwe kulansupu Leum God; ac Leum God El sang mwe enenu lun mano.
14By His power God raised the Lord from the dead, and He will raise us also.
14God El akmoulyelak Leum liki misa, ac El fah oayapa akmoulyekutyak ke ku lulap lal.
15Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never!
15Kowos etu lah monuwos pa lahn Christ. Ya nga ac eisla sie lahn Christ ac oru tuh in lahn sie mutan kosro? Tiana ku!
16Or don’t you know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”
16Ya kowos tia etu lah sie mwet su sang manol nu ke monin sie mutan kosro eltal mano sefannala?
17But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with Him in spirit.
18Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a man can commit is outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.
18Kaing liki inkanek in kosro.
19Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;
Kowos tia ma lowos sifacna, a ma lun God.
20you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.
20God El molikowosla ke sie mwe moul. Ke ma inge orekmakin monuwos nu ke wolana lun God.
