Ephesians 3

World English Bible
Tongan Bible, Revised West Version
1For this cause I, Paul, am the prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles,
1Pea koeʻuhi ko e meʻa ni, ko au Paula, ko e pōpula ʻa Sisu Kalaisi koeʻuhi ko kimoutolu Senitaile,
2if it is so that you have heard of the administration of that grace of God which was given me toward you,
2(He kuo mou fanongo ki he lakanga ʻi he ʻofa ʻae ʻOtua, ʻaia kuo foaki kiate au koeʻuhi ko kimoutolu:
3how that by revelation the mystery was made known to me, as I wrote before in few words,
3Koeʻuhi naʻe fakaʻilo ʻe ia ʻi he fakahā kiate au ʻae meʻa fakalilolilo; ʻo hangē ko ia ne u tohi siʻi ki ai ʻi muʻa,
4by which, when you read, you can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ,
4‌ʻAia, ʻoka mou ka lau, te mou ʻilo ʻeku poto ʻi he meʻa fakalilolilo ʻa Kalaisi)
5which in other generations was not made known to the children of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit,
5‌ʻAia naʻe ʻikai fakaʻilo ʻi he ngaahi kuonga ʻi muʻa ki he ngaahi foha ʻoe tangata, ʻo hangē ko hono fakahā eni ʻe he Laumālie ki heʻene kau ʻaposetolo māʻoniʻoni mo e kau palōfita;
6that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of his promise in Christ Jesus through the Good News,
6Koeʻuhi ke kaunga hoko ʻae kakai Senitaile, pea ʻi he sino pe taha, pea kau ʻi heʻene talaʻofa ʻia Kalaisi ʻi he ongoongolelei:
7of which I was made a servant according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power.
7‌ʻAia naʻe fakanofo au ko e faifekau ʻo ia, ʻo fakatatau ki he foaki ʻofa ʻae ʻOtua, naʻe foaki kiate au ʻi he ngāue mālohi ʻo ʻene māfimafi.
8To me, the very least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
8Ko e siʻi hifo taha pe au ʻi he kāinga māʻoniʻoni kotoa pē ʻoku siʻi, ka kuo foaki ʻae ʻofa ni kiate au, koeʻuhi ke u malangaʻaki ki he ngaahi Senitaile ʻae koloa taʻefaʻahakule ʻa Kalaisi;
9and to make all men see what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things through Jesus Christ,
9Pea ke fakaʻilo ki he kakai kotoa pē, ʻae feohi ʻoe meʻa fakalilolilo, ʻaia naʻe lilo ʻi he ʻOtua, ʻaia naʻa ne fakatupu ʻae meʻa kotoa pē ia Sisu Kalaisi, talu mei he kamataʻanga ʻo māmani:
10to the intent that now through the assembly the manifold wisdom of God might be made known to the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places,
10Koeʻuhi ke fakahā atu eni ʻe he siasi, ʻi he ngaahi meʻa kehekehe, ʻae poto ʻoe ʻOtua ki he ngaahi pule mo e ngaahi mālohi ʻi he ngaahi potu fakalangi,
11according to the eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.
11‌ʻO fakatatau ki he tuʻutuʻuni ʻi muʻa ʻi muʻa, ʻaia naʻa ne tuʻutuʻuni ʻia Kalaisi Sisu ko hotau ʻEiki:
12In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him.
12‌ʻAia ʻoku ʻapaʻapangofua ai ʻetau hū mālohi atu ʻi he tui kiate ia.
13Therefore I ask that you may not lose heart at my troubles for you, which are your glory.
13Ko ia ʻoku ou holi ke ʻoua naʻa mou loto foʻi ʻi heʻeku ngaahi mamahi koeʻuhi ko kimoutolu, ʻaia ko homou fiefiaʻanga.
14For this cause, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
14Ko e meʻa ko ia ʻoku ou peluki ai hoku tui ki he Tamai ʻa hotau ʻEiki ko Sisu Kalaisi,
15from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,
15‌ʻAia ʻoku ui mei ai ʻae fānau kotoa pē ʻi he langi mo māmani,
16that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person,
16Koeʻuhi ke ne foaki kiate kimoutolu, ʻo fakatatau mo hono lahi ʻaupito ʻo ʻene lelei, ke fakamālohi ʻakimoutolu ʻaki ʻae mālohi ʻi hono Laumālie ʻi he tangata ʻi loto;
17that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
17Koeʻuhi ke nofoʻia homou loto ʻe Kalaisi ʻi he tui; kae aka ʻakimoutolu mo tuʻumaʻu ʻi he ʻofa,
18may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth,
18Ke mou mafai ke ʻilo fakataha mo e kāinga māʻoniʻoni kotoa pē, hono māukupu, mo hono lōloa, mo hono loloto, mo hono māʻolunga;
19and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
19Pea ke ʻilo ʻae ʻofa ʻa Kalaisi, ʻaia ʻoku lahi hake ʻi he faʻa ʻilo, pea ke fakafonu ʻakimoutolu ʻaki ʻae fonu kotoa pē ʻoe ʻOtua.
20Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
20Pea ko eni, ke ʻiate ia ʻaia ʻoku mafai ke fai lahi hake ʻaupito ʻaupito ʻi he meʻa kotoa pē te tau kolea pe mahalo ki ai, ʻo fakatatau ki he mālohi ʻaia ʻoku ngāue ʻiate kitautolu,
21to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
21Ke ʻiate ia ʻae ongoongolelei ʻi he siasi ʻia Kalaisi Sisu, ʻi he ngaahi kuonga kotoa pē, ʻo taʻengata pea taʻengata. ʻEmeni.
