Testamenta Marra (Dieri New Testament)
1Brothers, I couldn’t speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ.
1Ja ngani, ngatata worajai, ngandandarina wonti jurangu kaukaubala Jaolaia kanali jeribaka, a‐ai, palkuja kanali jeribaka, kupa wakali jeribaka Christungu.
2I fed you with milk, not with solid food, for you weren’t yet ready. Indeed, you aren’t ready even now,
2Ngama ngato jurangu jinkina wonti tapananto ja wata buka; ngangau jura wata ngurunguru nganana wonti, ja kararielu jura wata ngurunguru nganai.
3for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren’t you fleshly, and don’t you walk in the ways of men?
3Bakana karari jura palkuja kana nganai; ngangau kuterina ja jatamalina ja puntibijiribamalina jurangu ngananani, jura wata palkuja kana nganai? Ja wata jura mitaia kanani jeribaka wirariai?
4For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you fleshly?
4Ngangau kulno jatanani: Ngani Pauluni; kulnujeli: Ngani Apolloni mili nganai; jura wata palkuja kana nganai?
5Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed, and each as the Lord gave to him?
5Worana Paulus ja worana Apollo nganai? Mili pudlaia nganai, pudlangundru jura morlalu ngundrana wonti, worderu Kaparali pudlangu pilki ja pilki jinkina wonti.
6I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase.
6Ngato kurana wonti, Apolloli turibana wonti, ja Godali punkibana jinkina wonti.
7So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
7Ja jeruja kuranietja pani nganai, ja bakana turibanietja pani nganai, a‐ai, windri Goda, Nulia punkibani jinkina wonti.
8Now he who plants and he who waters are the same, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
8Kuranietja ja turibanietja kulno nganai, pudlali kalala pudlani manila nganai pudlanina ngankanandru.
9For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s farming, God’s building.
9Ngangau Godaia jelalingankanietja ngaiani nganai, ja Godaia mita, ja Godaia wotini jura nganai.
10According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it.
10Godaia manjulandru, ninaia ngato maninala, ngato wotinietja kiri jeribaka marda kapara kurana wonti. Kulno ngurujeli nunkangu morla wotiai; pratjanali najinanto, worderu tanali nunkangu wotiai.
11For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.
11Kulno nguru ngandandariai marda kapara pilki kurala nnnkangu, nauja matja parai, Naupini Jesus Christus nganai.
12But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw,
12Kulnujeli nunkangupini marda kaparani wotinani marda maralje, marda bulu, marda ngumu pilki, pita, kanta, ngurdi;
13each man’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man’s work is.
13Jeruja pratjanaia ngankana tinkari pantjila nganai, ngangau ditjieli nina wondrala nganai, ngangau nau turujeli tinkari pantjila nganai; ja worderu kulnuja ngankana wodajeni nganai, turujeli nina wontjala nganai.
14If any man’s work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward.
14Kulnuja ngankana paranani, nina nulu morla wotina warai, jeruja nulu kalala manila nganai.
15If any man’s work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.
15Kulnuja ngankana jerkinani, jeruja nulu nina tintala nganai; nau munta tepi pantjila nganai turuni palkingana jeribaka.
16Don’t you know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?
16Jura wata milkila, jura Godaia punga nganai, ja Godaia Jaola jurangu ngamai?
17If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are.
17Kulnujeli Godaia punga madlentji ngankanani, ninapini Godali madlentji ngankala nganai; ngangau Godaia punga kulikiri nganai, naupini jura nganai.
18Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool that he may become wise.
18Wata kulno jedibateriatimai. Kulnujeli ngundranani kiri nganala jurangu nunkangupini miljarani, nau patipati pantjiatimai, ngangau nau kiri pantjinanto.
19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He has taken the wise in their craftiness.”
19Ngangau nunkangupini mitaia kirila patipati nganai Godani. Ngangau dakanala parai: „Nulia kana kirieli tanani kirilani patai.“
20And again, “The Lord knows the reasoning of the wise, that it is worthless.”
20Ja nakaldra: „Kaparali kana kiria ngundrana ngujamai, nau baku nganai.“
21Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours,
21Ja jeruja wata kulno kanandru jurakokateriatimai; ngaugau pratjana jurani nganai;
22whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All are yours,
22Paulus kara Apollo kara Kephas kara, tepi kara nari kara, mina kantji parai kara, mina wokarala nganai kara; pratjana jurani nganai.
23and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.
23Jura Christuja nganai, ja Christus Godaia.
