Old Persian Version (ترجمه قدیم)
1For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
1زیرا اینک آن روزی که مثل تنور مشتعل می باشد، خواهد آمد و جمیع متکبران وجمیع بدکاران کاه خواهند بود و یهوه صبایوت می‌گوید: آن روز که می‌آید ایشان را چنان خواهدسوزانید که نه ریشه و نه شاخه‌ای برای ایشان باقی خواهد گذاشت.
2¶ But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
2اما برای شما که از اسم من می‌ترسید آفتاب عدالت طلوع خواهد کرد و بربالهای وی شفا خواهد بود و شما بیرون آمده، مانند گوساله های پرواری جست و خیز خواهیدکرد.
3And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this , saith the LORD of hosts.
3و یهوه صبایوت می‌گوید: شریران راپایمال خواهید نمود زیرا در آن روزی که من تعیین نموده‌ام، ایشان زیر کف پایهای شماخاکستر خواهند بود.
4¶ Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
4تورات بنده من موسی راکه آن را با فرایض و احکام به جهت تمامی اسرائیل در حوریب امر فرمودم بیاد آورید.
5¶ Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD :
5اینک من ایلیای نبی را قبل از رسیدن روز عظیم و مهیب خداوند نزد شما خواهم فرستاد.
6And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
6و اودل پدران را بسوی پسران و دل پسران را بسوی پدران خواهد برگردانید، مبادا بیایم و زمین را به لعنت بزنم.
