1Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.
1ΚΑΙ Ἰησοῦς πρεσβύτερος προβεβηκὼς τῶν ἡμερῶν. καὶ εἶπε Κύριος πρὸς Ἰησοῦν· σὺ προβέβηκας τῶν ἡμερῶν, καὶ ἡ γῆ ὑπολέλειπται πολλὴ εἰς κληρονομίαν.
2This is the land that yet remaineth: all the borders of the Philistines, and all Geshuri,
2καὶ αὕτη ἡ γῆ καταλελειμμένη· ὅρια Φυλιστιείμ, ὁ Γεσιρὶ καὶ ὁ Χαναναῖος·
3From Sihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the borders of Ekron northward, which is counted to the Canaanite: five lords of the Philistines; the Gazathites, and the Ashdothites, the Eshkalonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avites:
3ἀπὸ τῆς ἀοικήτου τῆς κατὰ πρόσωπον Αἰγύπτου ἕως τῶν ὁρίων Ἀκκαρὼν ἐξ εὐωνύμων τῶν Χαναναίων προσλογίζεται ταῖς πέντε σατραπείαις τῶν Φυλιστιείμ, τῷ Γαζαίῳ καὶ τῷ Ἀζωτίῳ καὶ τῷ Ἀσκαλωνίτῃ καὶ τῷ Γετθαίῳ καὶ τῷ Ἀκκαρωνίτῃ· καὶ τῷ Εὐαίῳ
4From the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that is beside the Sidonians, unto Aphek, to the borders of the Amorites:
4ἐκ Θαιμὰν καὶ πάσῃ γῇ Χαναὰν ἐναντίον Γάζης, καὶ οἱ Σιδώνιοι ἕως Ἀφέκ, ἕως τῶν ὁρίων τῶν Ἀμορραίων,
5And the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrising, from Baal-gad under mount Hermon unto the entering into Hamath.
5καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν Γαβλὶ Φυλιστιείμ· καὶ πάντα τὸν Λίβανον ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν ἡλίου, ἀπὸ Γαλγὰλ ὑπὸ τὸ ὄρος τὸ Ἀερμὼν ἕως τῆς εἰσόδου Ἐμάθ·
6All the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon unto Misrephoth-maim, and all the Sidonians, them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.
6πᾶς ὁ κατοικῶν τὴν ὀρεινὴν ἀπὸ τοῦ Λιβάνου ἕως τῆς Μασερεφωθαίμ, πάντας τοὺς Σιδωνίους, ἐγὼ αὐτοὺς ἐξολοθρεύσω ἀπὸ προσώπου Ἰσραήλ· ἀλλὰ διάδος αὐτὴν ἐν κλήρῳ τῷ Ἰσραήλ, ὃν τρόπον σοι ἐνετειλάμην.
7Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Manasseh,
7καὶ νῦν μέρισον τὴν γῆν ταύτην ἐν κληρονομίᾳ ταῖς ἐννέα φυλαῖς καὶ τῷ ἡμίσει φυλῆς Μανασσῆ· ἀπὸ τοῦ Ἰορδάνου ἕως τῆς θαλάσσης τῆς μεγάλης κατὰ δυσμὰς ἡλίου δώσεις αὐτήν, ἡ θάλασσα ἡ μεγάλη ὁριεῖ.
8With whom the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of the LORD gave them;
8ταῖς δυσὶ φυλαῖς καὶ τῷ ἡμίσει φυλῆς Μανασσῆ, τῷ Ρουβὴν καὶ τῷ Γάδ, ἔδωκε Μωυσῆς ἐν τῷ πέραν τοῦ Ἰορδάνου· κατ' ἀνατολὰς ἡλίου δέδωκεν αὐτὴν Μωυσῆς ὁ παῖς Κυρίου,
9From Aroer, that is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain of Medeba unto Dibon;
9ἀπὸ Ἀροήρ, ἥ ἐστιν ἐπὶ τοῦ χείλους χειμάρρου Ἀρνῶν, καὶ τὴν πόλιν τὴν ἐν μέσῳ τῆς φάραγγος καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν Μισὼρ ἀπὸ Μαιδαβὰ ἕως Δαιβάν,
10And all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the children of Ammon;
10πάσας τὰς πόλεις Σηὼν βασιλέως Ἀμορραίων, ὃς ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ἐσεβών, ἕως τῶν ὁρίων υἱῶν Ἀμμῶν,
11And Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maachathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salcah;
11καὶ τὴν Γαλααδίτιδα καὶ τὰ ὅρια Γεσιρὶ καὶ τοῦ Μαχατί, πᾶν ὄρος Ἀερμὼν καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν Βασανίτιν ἕως Σελλά,
12All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out.
12πᾶσαν τὴν βασιλείαν Ὢγ ἐν τῇ Βασανίτιδι, ὃς ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ἀσταρὼθ καὶ ἐν Ἐδραΐν· οὗτος κατελείφθη ἀπὸ τῶν γιγάντων, καὶ ἐπάταξεν αὐτὸν Μωυσῆς καὶ ἐξωλόθρευσε.
13Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites, nor the Maachathites: but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites until this day.
13καὶ οὐκ ἐξωλόθρευσαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ τὸν Γεσιρὶ καὶ τὸν Μαχατὶ καὶ τὸν Χαναναῖον, καὶ κατῴκει βασιλεὺς Γεσιρὶ καὶ ὁ Μαχατὶ ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ ἕως τῆς σήμερον ἡμέρας.
14Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave none inheritance; the sacrifices of the LORD God of Israel made by fire are their inheritance, as he said unto them.
14πλὴν τῆς φυλῆς Λευὶ οὐκ ἐδόθη κληρονομία· Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς Ἰσραήλ, οὗτος κληρονομία αὐτῶν, καθὰ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Κύριος. καὶ οὗτος ὁ καταμερισμός, ὃν κατεμέρισε Μωυσῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ ἐν Ἀραβὼθ Μωὰβ ἐν τῷ πέραν τοῦ Ἰορδάνου κατὰ Ἱεριχώ.
15¶ And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben inheritance according to their families.
15Καὶ ἔδωκε Μωυσῆς τῇ φυλῇ Ρουβὴν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν.
16And their coast was from Aroer, that is on the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain by Medeba;
16καὶ ἐγενήθη αὐτῶν τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ Ἀροήρ, ἥ ἐστι κατὰ πρόσωπον φάραγγος Ἀρνῶν, καὶ ἡ πόλις ἡ ἐν τῇ φάραγγι Ἀρνῶν. καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν Μισὼρ ἕως Ἐσεβὼν
17Heshbon, and all her cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamoth-baal, and Beth-baal-meon,
17καὶ πάσας τὰς πόλεις τὰς οὔσας ἐν τῇ Μισὼρ καὶ Δαιβὼν καὶ Βαμωθβάαλ καὶ οἴκου Βεελμὼν
18And Jahazah, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,
18καὶ Ἰασσὰ καὶ Κεδημὼθ καὶ Μεφαὰθ
19And Kirjathaim, and Sibmah, and Zareth-shahar in the mount of the valley,
19καὶ Καριαθαὶμ καὶ Σεβαμὰ καὶ Σεραδὰ καὶ Σιὼρ ἐν τῷ ὄρει Ἐμὰκ
20And Beth-peor, and Ashdoth-pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth,
20καὶ Βαιθφογὸρ καὶ Ἀσηδὼθ Φασγὰ καὶ Βαιθασειμὼθ
21And all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, which were dukes of Sihon, dwelling in the country.
21καὶ πάσας τὰς πόλεις τοῦ Μισὼρ καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ Σηὼν βασιλέως τῶν Ἀμορραίων, ὃν ἐπάταξε Μωυσῆς αὐτὸν καὶ τοὺς ἡγουμένους Μαδιὰμ καὶ τὸν Εὐὶ καὶ τὸν Ροκὸμ καὶ τὸν Σοὺρ καὶ τὸν Οὒρ καὶ τὸν Ροβὲ ἄρχοντας παρὰ Σηὼν καὶ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας τὴν γῆν.
22¶ Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among them that were slain by them.
22καὶ τὸν Βαλαὰμ τὸν τοῦ Βεώρ, τὸν μάντιν, ἀπέκτειναν ἐν τῇ ροπῇ.
23And the border of the children of Reuben was Jordan, and the border thereof . This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben after their families, the cities and the villages thereof.
23ἐγένετο δὲ τὰ ὅρια Ρουβήν· Ἰορδάνης ὅριον, αὕτη ἡ κληρονομία υἱῶν Ρουβὴν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν, αἱ πόλεις αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῶν.
24And Moses gave inheritance unto the tribe of Gad, even unto the children of Gad according to their families.
24ἔδωκε δὲ Μωυσῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Γὰδ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν.
25And their coast was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah;
25καὶ ἐγένετο τὰ ὅρια αὐτῶν Ἰαζήρ, πᾶσαι πόλεις Γαλαὰδ καὶ τὸ ἥμισυ γῆς υἱῶν Ἀμμῶν ἕως Ἀροήρ, ἥ ἐστι κατὰ πρόσωπον Ραββά,
26And from Heshbon unto Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir;
26καὶ ἀπὸ Ἐσεβὼν ἕως Ραμὼθ κατὰ τὴν Μασσηφὰ καὶ Βοτανὶμ καὶ Μααναΐν ἕως τῶν ὁρίων Δαβίρ,
27And in the valley, Beth-aram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and his border, even unto the edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the other side Jordan eastward.
27καὶ Ἐμὲκ Βαιθαρὰμ Βανθαναβρὰ καὶ Σοκχωθὰ καὶ Σαφὰν καὶ τὴν λοιπὴν βασιλείαν Σηὼν βασιλέως Ἐσεβών, καὶ ὁ Ἰορδάνης ὁριεῖ ἕως μέρους τῆς θαλάσσης Χενερὲθ πέραν τοῦ Ἰορδάνου ἀπ' ἀνατολῶν.
28This is the inheritance of the children of Gad after their families, the cities, and their villages.
28αὕτη ἡ κληρονομία υἱῶν Γὰδ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν, αἱ πόλεις αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῶν.
29¶ And Moses gave inheritance unto the half tribe of Manasseh: and this was the possession of the half tribe of the children of Manasseh by their families.
29καὶ ἔδωκε Μωυσῆς τῷ ἡμίσει φυλῆς Μανασσῆ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν.
30And their coast was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, threescore cities:
30καὶ ἐγένετο τὰ ὅρια αὐτῶν ἀπὸ Μααναΐμ καὶ πᾶσα βασιλεία Βασανὶ καὶ πᾶσα βασιλεία Ὢγ βασιλέως τῆς Βασὰν καὶ πάσας τὰς κώμας Ἰαΐρ, αἵ εἰσιν ἐν τῇ Νασανίτιδι, ἑξήκοντα πόλεις,
31And half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were pertaining unto the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even to the one half of the children of Machir by their families.
31καὶ τὸ ἥμισυ τῆς Γαλαὰδ καὶ ἐν Ἀσταρὼθ καὶ ἐν Ἐδραΐν, πόλεις βασιλείας Ὢγ ἐν τῇ Βασανίτιδι καὶ ἐδόθησαν τοῖς υἱοῖς Μαχὶρ υἱοῦ Μανασσῆ, κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν.
32These are the countries which Moses did distribute for inheritance in the plains of Moab, on the other side Jordan, by Jericho, eastward.
32οὗτοι οὓς κατεκληρονόμησε Μωυσῆς πέραν τοῦ Ἰορδάνου ἐν Ἀραβὼθ Μωὰβ ἐν τῷ πέραν τοῦ Ἰορδάνου τοῦ κατὰ Ἱεριχὼ ἀπ' ἀνατολῶν.
33But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave not any inheritance: the LORD God of Israel was their inheritance, as he said unto them.
