1These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun;
1Ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ· Ῥουβὴν, Συμεὼν, Λευὶ, Ἰούδα, Ἰσσάχαρ, Ζαβουλὼν,
2Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
2Δὰν, Ἰωσὴφ, Βενιαμὶν, Νεφθαλὶ, Γὰδ, Ἀσήρ.
3The sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah; which three were born unto him of Bath-shua the Canaanitess. And Er, Judah's first-born, was wicked in the sight of the LORD; and He slew him.
3Υἱοὶ Ἰούδα, Ἢρ, Αὐνὰν, Σηλώμ· τρεῖς ἐγεννήθησαν αὐτῷ ἐκ τῆς θυγατρὸς Σαύας τῆς Χανανίτιδος· καὶ ἦν Ἢρ ὁ πρωτότοκος Ἰούδα πονηρὸς ἐναντίον Κυρίου, καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν αὐτόν·
4And Tamar his daughter-in-law bore him Perez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.
4Καὶ Θάμαρ ἡ νύμφη αὐτοῦ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Φαρὲς, καὶ τὸν Ζαρα· πάντες υἱοὶ Ἰούδα πέντε.
5The sons of Perez: Hezron, and Hamul.
5Υἱοὶ Φαρὲς, Ἐσρὼμ, καὶ Ἰεμουήλ.
6And the sons of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.
6Καὶ υἱοὶ Ζαρὰ, Ζαμβρὶ, καὶ Αἰθὰμ, καὶ Αἰμουὰν, καὶ Καλχὰλ, καὶ Δαρὰδ, πάντες πέντε.
7And the sons of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who committed a trespass concerning the devoted thing.
7Καὶ υἱοὶ Χαρμὶ, Ἀχὰρ ὁ ἐμποδοστάτης Ἰσραὴλ, ὃς ἠθέτησεν εἰς τὸ ἀνάθεμα.
8And the sons of Ethan: Azariah.
8Καὶ υἱοὶ Αἰθὰμ, Ἀζαρίας.
9The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him: Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
9Καὶ υἱοὶ Ἐσρὼμ οἳ ἐτέχθησαν αὐτῷ, ὁ Ἱεραμεὴλ, καὶ ὁ Ἀρὰμ, καὶ ὁ Χαλέβ.
10And Ram begot Amminadab; and Amminadab begot Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;
10Καὶ Ἀρὰμ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἀμιναδὰβ, καὶ Ἀμιναδὰβ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ναασσὼν ἄρχοντα οἴκου Ἰούδα,
11and Nahshon begot Salma, and Salma begot Boaz;
11καὶ Ναασσὼν ἐγέννησε τὸν Σαλμὼν, καὶ Σαλμὼν ἐγέννησε τὸν Βοὸζ,
12and Boaz begot Obed, and Obed begot Jesse;
12καὶ Βοὸζ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ὠβὴδ, καὶ Ὠβὴδ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἰεσσαὶ,
13and Jesse begot his first-born Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third;
13καὶ Ἰεσσαὶ ἐγέννησε τὸν πρωτότοκον αὐτοῦ τὸν Ἐλιὰβ, Ἀμιναδὰβ ὁ δεύτερος, Σαμαὰ ὁ τρίτος,
14Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth;
14Ναθαναὴλ ὁ τέταρτος, Ζαβδαῒ ὁ πέμπτος,
15Ozem the sixth, David the seventh.
15Ἀσὰμ ὁ ἕκτος, Δαυὶδ ὁ ἕβδομος.
16And their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.
16Καὶ ἡ ἀδελφὴ αὐτῶν Σαρουία, καὶ Ἀβιγαία· καὶ υἱοὶ Σαρουία, Ἀβισὰ, καὶ Ἰωὰβ, καὶ Ἀσαὴλ, τρεῖς.
17And Abigail bore Amasa; and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.
17Καὶ Ἀβειγαία ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἀμεσσάβ· καὶ πατὴρ Ἀμεσσὰβ Ἰοθὸρ ὁ Ἰσμαηλίτης.
18And Caleb the son of Hezron begot children of Azubah his wife — and of Jerioth — and these were her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
18Καὶ Χαλὲβ υἱὸς Ἐσρὼμ ἔλαβε τὴν Γαζουβὰ γυναῖκα, καὶ τὴν Ἰεριώθ· καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ αὐτῆς, Ἰασὰρ, καὶ Σουβὰβ, καὶ Ἀρδών.
19And Azubah died, and Caleb took unto him Ephrath, who bore him Hur.
19Καὶ ἀπέθανε Γαζουβὰ, καὶ ἔλαβεν ἑαυτῷ Χαλὲβ τὴν Ἐφρὰθ, καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Ὥρ.
20And Hur begot Uri, and Uri begot Bezalel.
20Καὶ Ὣρ ἐγέννησε τὸν Οὐρί· καὶ Οὐρὶ ἐγέννησε τὸν Βεσελεήλ.
21And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead; whom he took to wife when he was threescore years old; and she bore him Segub.
21Καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα εἰσῆλθεν Ἐσρὼν πρὸς τὴν θυγατέρα Μαχὶρ πατρὸς Γαλαὰδ, καὶ αὐτὸς ἔλαβεν αὐτὴν, καὶ αὐτὸς ἑξηκονταπέντε ἐτῶν ἦν· καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Σερούχ.
22And Segub begot Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.
22Καὶ Σεροὺχ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἰαΐρ. καὶ ἦσαν αὐτῷ εἴκοσι καὶ τρεῖς πόλεις ἐν τῇ Γαλαάδ.
23And Geshur and Aram took Havvoth-jair from them, with Kenath, and the villages thereof, even threescore cities. All these were the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.
23Καὶ ἔλαβε Γεδσοὺρ καὶ Ἀρὰμ τὰς κώμας Ἰαῒρ ἐξ αὐτῶν, τὴν Κανὰθ καὶ τὰς κώμας αὐτῆς, ἑξήκοντα πόλεις· πᾶσαι αὗται υἱῶν Μαχὶρ πατρὸς Γαλαάδ.
24And after that Hezron was dead in Caleb-ephrath, then Abiah Hezron's wife bore him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.
24Καὶ μετὰ τὸ ἀποθανεῖν Ἐσρὼν, ἦλθε Χαλὲβ εἰς Ἐφραθά· καὶ ἡ γυνὴ Ἐσρὼν Ἀβιά· καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Ἀσχὼ πατέρα Θεκωέ.
25And the sons of Jerahmeel the first-born of Hezron were Ram the first-born, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah.
25καὶ ἦσαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἱεραμεὴλ πρωτοτόκου Ἐσρὼν, ὁ πρωτότοκος Ῥὰμ, καὶ Βαναὰ, καὶ Ἀρὰμ, καὶ Ἀσὰν ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ.
26And Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
26Καὶ ἦν γυνὴ ἑτέρα τῷ Ἱεραμεὴλ, καὶ ὄνομα αὐτῇ Ἀτάρα· αὕτη ἐστὶ μήτηρ Ὀζόμ.
27And the sons of Ram the first-born of Jerahmeel were Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
27Καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ Ῥὰμ πρωτοτόκου Ἱεραμεὴλ, Μαὰς, καὶ Ἰαμὶν, καὶ Ἀκόρ.
28And the sons of Onam were Shammai, and Jada; and the sons of Shammai: Nadab, and Abishur.
28Καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ Ὀζὸμ, Σαμαῒ, καὶ Ἰαδαέ· καὶ υἱοὶ Σαμαῒ, Ναδὰβ καὶ Ἀβισούρ.
29And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail; and she bore him Ahban, and Molid.
29Καὶ ὄνομα τῆς γυναικὸς Ἀβισοὺρ, Ἀβιχαία· καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Ἀχαβὰρ, καὶ τὸν Μωήλ.
30And the sons of Nadab: Seled, and Appaim; but Seled died without children.
30Καὶ υἱοὶ Ναδὰβ, Σαλὰδ, καὶ Ἀπφαίν· καὶ ἀπέθανε Σαλὰδ οὐκ ἔχων τέκνα.
31And the sons of Appaim: Ishi. And the sons of Ishi: Sheshan. And the sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.
31Καὶ υἱοὶ Ἀπφαὶν, Ἰσεμιήλ· καὶ υἱοὶ Ἰσεμιὴλ, Σωσάν· καὶ υἱοὶ Σωσὰν, Δαδαί.
32And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai: Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.
32Καὶ υἱοὶ Δαδαὶ, Ἀχισαμὰς, Ἰεθὲρ, Ἰωνάθαν· καὶ ἀπέθανεν Ἰεθὲρ οὐκ ἔχων τέκνα.
33And the sons of Jonathan: Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
33Καὶ υἱοὶ Ἰωνάθαν, Φαλὲθ, καὶ Ὁζάμ· οὗτοι ἦσαν υἱοὶ Ἱεραμεήλ.
34Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.
34Καὶ οὐκ ἦσαν τῷ Σωσὰν υἱοὶ, ἀλλʼ ἢ θυγατέρες· καὶ τῷ Σωσὰν παῖς Αἰγύπτιος, καὶ ὄνομα αὐτῷ Ἰωχήλ.
35So Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bore him Attai.
35Καὶ ἔδωκε Σωσὰν τὴν θυγατέρα αὐτοῦ τῷ Ἰωχὴλ παιδὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς γυναῖκα, καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Ἐθὶ,
36And Attai begot Nathan, and Nathan begot Zabad;
36καὶ Ἐθὶ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ναθὰν, καὶ Ναθὰν ἐγέννησε τὸν Ζαβὲδ,
37and Zabad begot Ephlal, and Ephlal begot Obed;
37καὶ Ζαβὲδ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἀφαμὴλ, καὶ Ἀφαμὴλ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ὠβὴδ,
38and Obed begot Jehu, and Jehu begot Azariah;
38καὶ Ὠβὴδ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἰηοὺ, καὶ Ἰηοὺ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἀζαρίαν,
39and Azariah begot Helez, and Helez begot Eleasah;
39καὶ Ἀζαρίας ἐγέννησε τὸν Χελλὴς, καὶ Χελλὴς ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἐλεασὰ,
40and Eleasah begot Sisamai, and Sisamai begot Shallum;
40καὶ Ἐλεασὰ ἐγέννησε τὸν Σοσομαῒ, καὶ Σοσομαῒ ἐγέννησε τὸν Σαλοὺμ,
41and Shallum begot Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begot Elishama.
41καὶ Σαλοὺμ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἰεχεμίαν, καὶ Ἰεχεμίας ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἐλισαμὰ, καὶ Ἐλισαμὰ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἰσμαήλ.
42And the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were Mesha his first-born, who was the father of Ziph, and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
42Καὶ υἱοὶ Χαλὲβ ἀδελφοῦ Ἱεραμεὴλ, Μαρισὰ ὁ πρωτότοκος αὐτοῦ· οὗτος πατὴρ Ζίφ· καὶ υἱοὶ Μαρισὰ πατρὸς Χεβρών.
43And the sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
43Καὶ υἱοὶ Χεβρὼν, Κορὲ, καὶ Θαπφοὺς, καὶ Ῥεκὸμ, καὶ Σαμαά.
44And Shema begot Raham, the father of Jorkeam; and Rekem begot Shammai.
44Καὶ Σαμαὰ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ῥαὲμ πατέρα Ἰεκλὰν, καὶ Ἰεκλὰν ἐγέννησε τὸν Σαμαΐ.
45And the son of Shammai was Maon; and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.
45Καὶ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Μαών· καὶ Μαὼν πατὴρ Βαιθσούρ.
46And Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begot Gazez.
46Καὶ Γαιφὰ ἡ παλλακὴ Χαλὲβ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἀρὰμ, καὶ τὸν Μοσὰ, καὶ τὸν Γεζουέ.
47And the sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
47Καὶ υἱοὶ Ἀδδαῒ, Ῥαγὲμ, καὶ Ἰωάθαμ, καὶ Σωγὰρ, καὶ Φαλὲκ, καὶ Γαιφὰ, καὶ Σαγαέ.
48Maacah, Caleb's concubine, bore Sheber and Tirhanah.
48Καὶ ἡ παλλακὴ Χαλὲβ Μωχὰ ἐγέννησε τὸν Σαβὲρ, καὶ τὸν Θαράμ.
49And the wife of Shaaph the father of Madmannah bore Sheva the father of Machbenah and the father of Gibea. And the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.
49Καὶ ἐγέννησε Σαγαὲ πατέρα Μαδμηνὰ, καὶ τὸν Σαοὺ πατέρα Μαχαβηνὰ, καὶ πατέρα Γαιβάλ· καὶ θυγάτηρ Χαλὲβ, Ἀσχά.
50These were the sons of Caleb. The sons of Hur the first-born of Ephrath: Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim;
50Οὗτοι ἦσαν υἱοὶ Χαλέβ· υἱοὶ Ὢρ πρωτοτόκου Ἐφραθά· Σωβὰλ πατὴρ Καριαθιαρὶμ,
51Salma the father of Beth-lehem, Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
51Σαλωμὼν πατὴρ Βαιθὰ, Λαμμὼν πατὴρ Βαιθαλαὲμ, καὶ Ἀρὶμ πατὴρ Βεθγεδώρ.
52And Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim had sons: Haroeh, and half of the Menuhoth.
52Καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ τῷ Σωβὰλ πατρὶ Καριαθιαρὶμ Ἀραὰ, καὶ Αἰσὶ, καὶ Ἀμμανὶθ,
53And the families of Kiriath-jearim: the Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zorathites, and the Eshtaolites.
53καὶ Οὐμασφαὲ, πόλεις Ἰαῒρ, Αἰθαλὶμ, καὶ Μιφιθὶμ, καὶ Ἡσαμαθὶμ, καὶ Ἡμασαραΐμ· ἐκ τούτων ἐξήλθοσαν οἱ Σαραθαῖοι, καὶ υἱοὶ Ἐσθαάμ.
54The sons of Salma: Beth-lehem, and the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab, and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites.
54Υἱοὶ Σαλωμὼν Βαιθαλαὲμ, ὁ Νετωφατὶ, Ἀταρὼθ οἴκου Ἰωὰβ, καὶ ἥμισυ τῆς Μαλαθὶ, Ἠσαρὶ·
55And the families of scribes that dwelt at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, the Sucathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
55Πατριαὶ γραμματέων κατοικοῦντες ἐν Ἰάβις Θαργαθιῒμ, καὶ Σαμαθιῒμ, καὶ Σωχαθίμ· οὗτοι οἱ Κιναῖοι οἱ ἐλθόντες ἐξ Αἱμὰθ πατρὸς οἴκου Ῥηχάβ.
