1Rends-moi justice, ô Dieu, défends ma cause contre une nation infidèle! Délivre-moi des hommes de fraude et d’iniquité!
1Vindicate me, O God, and plead my case against an ungodly nation; deliver me from deceitful and unjust men.
2Toi, mon Dieu protecteur, pourquoi me repousses-tu? Pourquoi dois-je marcher dans la tristesse, Sous l’oppression de l’ennemi?
2For You are the God of my refuge. Why have You rejected me? Why must I walk in sorrow because of the enemy’s oppression?
3Envoie ta lumière et ta fidélité! Qu’elles me guident, Qu’elles me conduisent à ta montagne sainte et à tes demeures!
3Send out Your light and Your truth; let them lead me. Let them bring me to Your holy mountain, and to the place where You dwell.
4J’irai vers l’autel de Dieu, de Dieu, ma joie et mon allégresse, Et je te célébrerai sur la harpe, ô Dieu, mon Dieu!
4Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my greatest joy. I will praise You with the harp, O God, my God.
5Pourquoi t’abats-tu, mon âme, et gémis-tu au-dedans de moi? Espère en Dieu, car je le louerai encore; Il est mon salut et mon Dieu.
5Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why the unease within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.
