1In that day Debbora and Barac son of Abinoem sung, and said:
1Te vaeng khohnin ah Deborah neh Abinoam capa Barak loh a hlai rhoi tih,
2O you of Israel, that have willingly offered your lives to danger, bless the Lord.
2Pilnam loh a puhlu vaengah, Israel khuiah tawnlo rhoek khaw lim hamla, BOEIPA tah a yoethen pai saeh!
3Hear, O ye kings, give ear, ye princes: It is I, it is I, that will sing to the Lord, I will sing to the Lord the God of Israel.
3Manghai rhoek loh ya nawn saeh, boeica rhoek loh hnatun saeh, BOEIPA te ka hlai vetih, Israel Pathen BOEIPA te ka tingtoeng ni.
4O Lord, when thou wentest out of Seir, and passedst by the regions of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped water.
4“BOEIPA, Seir lamkah na lo tih, Edom khohmuen lamkah na luei vaengah, diklai hinghuen tih vaan rhoek khaw cip, khomai khaw tui la pha.
5The mountains melted before the face of the Lord, and Sinai before the face of the Lord the God of Israel.
5“Sinai kah BOEIPA mikhmuh ah, Israel Pathen BOEIPA mikhmuh ah tlang rhoek khaw moelh uh.
6In the days of Samgar the son of Anath, in the days of Jahel the paths rested: and they that went by them, walked through by-ways.
6“Anath capa Shamgar tue vaengah, Jael tue vaengah, caehlong mueng tih a hawn kah aka cet khaw caehlong a kael te a paan uh.
7The valiant men ceased, and rested in Israel: until Debbora arose, a mother arose in Israel.
7Israel ah khosakung a tal he, Deborah a thoh duela tal uh coeng tih, Israel khuikah manu la ka phoe coeng.
8The Lord chose new wars, and he himself overthrew the gates of the enemies: a shield and spear was not seen among forty thousand of Israel.
8Pathen thai rhoek a tuek uh vaengah vongka ah rhal khaw om dae, Israel thawng sawmli kah photling neh, cai ke hmu pawh.
9My heart loveth the princes of Israel: O you that of your own good will offered yourselves to danger, bless the Lord.
9Ka lungbuei loh, Israel aka taem taeng neh pilnam taengah aka puhlu rhoek, BOEIPA tah a yoethen pai saeh.
10Speak, you that ride upon fair asses, and you that sit in judgment, and walk in the way.
10Laak bok dongah aka ngol rhoek, himbaidok dongah aka ngol tih, longpuei kah aka cet rhoek loh lolmang saeh.
11Where the chariots were dashed together, and the army of the enemies was choked, there let the justices of the Lord be rehearsed, and his clemency towards the brave men of Israel: then the people of the Lord went down to the gates, and obtained the sovereignty.
11Sihthang ah aka phayang rhoek kah ol long tah, BOEIPA kah duengnah neh a khosakung rhoek kah duengnah te Israel lakliah a thoelh uh tih BOEIPA pilnam kah vongka la suntla uh.
12Arise, arise, O Debbora, arise, arise, and utter a canticle. Arise, Barac, and take hold of thy captives, O son of Abinoem.
12Haenghang laeh, haenghang laeh, Deborah, haenghang laeh, haenghang laeh laa thoh laeh. Thoo laeh, Barak na tamna Abinoam capa te sol laeh.
13The remnants of the people are saved, the Lord hath fought among the valiant ones.
13Rhaengnaeng loh, BOEIPA kah pilnam aka khuet rhoek taengla a suntlak vaengah kai taengah khaw hlangrhalh rhoek neh ha suntla.
14Out of Ephraim he destroyed them into Amalec, and after him out of Benjamin into thy people, O Amalec: Out of Machir there came down princes, and out of Zabulon they that led the army to fight.
14Amih yung te Ephraim lamloh Amalek khui la, namah hnukkah Benjamin neh Makir lamkah na pilnam long khaw, lairhoe mancai aka thueng, Zebulun khui lamkah aka taem la ha suntla.
15The captains of Issachar were with Debbora, and followed the steps of Barac, who exposed himself to danger, as one going headlong, and into a pit. Ruben being divided against himself, there was found a strife of courageous men.
15Ka mangpa rhoek khaw Issakhar neh Deborah khuiah, Barak khaw Issakhar bangla a kho neh tuikol la a paan tih, Reuben kho-rha ah lungbuei khenah la yet.
16Why dwellest thou between two borders, that thou mayest hear the bleatings of the flocks? Ruben being divided against himself, there was found a strife of courageous men.
16Balae tih saelvong laklo ah na ngol, lungbuei khenah aka yet he, Reuben khorha ah tuping kah a rhungnah aka ya la.
17Galaad rested beyond the Jordan, and Dan applied himself to ships: Aser dwelt on the sea shore, and abode in the havens.
17Gilead loh Jordan rhalvang ah a om vaengah, Dan khaw balae tih sangpho dongah a bakuep? Asher loh tuitun langkaeng ah kho a sak tih lihmoi ah om sut.
18But Zabulon and Nephtali offered their lives to death in the region of Merome.
18Zebulun neh Naphtali tah, hmuen sang ah duek ham, a hinglu aka soek pilnam ni.
19The kings came and fought, the kings of Chanaan fought in Thanach by the waters of Mageddo, and yet they took no spoils.
19Vathoh manghai rhoek ha pawk uh tih, Kanaan manghai rhoek te Meggido tui kah, Taanakh ah a tloek vaengah, mueluemnah neh cak pakhat pataeng lo uh pawh.
20War from heaven was made against them, the stars remaining in their order and courses fought against Sisara.
20Vaan lamkah aisi rhoek lo a vathoh puei dongah, amih loh Sisera te longpuei lamkah a vathoh thil uh.
21The torrent of Cison dragged their carcasses, the torrent of Cadumim, the torrent of Cisoii: tread thou, my soul, upon the strong ones.
21Kishon soklong loh amih te a yo, khosuen soklong Kishon soklong, ka hinglu na sarhi neh na hnah mai.
22The hoofs of the horses were broken whilst the stoutest of the enemies fled amain, and fell headlong down.
22Te vaengah marhang aka lueng loh, rhetlonah a pet te a khomae a phop uh.
23Curse ye the land of Meroz, said the angel of the Lord: curse the inhabitants thereof, because they came not to the help of the Lord, to help his most valiant men.
23Meroz te thaephoei thil. BOEIPA kah puencawn loh, “BOEIPA kah bomnah, BOEIPA kah bomnah loh, hlangrhalh rhoek te a paan pawt dongah, a khuikah khosa rhoek te thaephoei thil saeh,” a ti.
24Blessed among women be Jahel the wife of Haber the Cinite, and blessed be she in her tent.
24Keni Heber yuu Jael, huta rhoek khuiah na yoethen. Dap khuikah huta rhoek lakah khaw na yoethen.
25He asked her water and she gave him milk, and offered him butter in a dish fit for princes.
25Tui a hoe vaengah, suktui a paek tih, aka khuet baeldung dongah, suknaeng a khuen pah.
26She put her left hand to the nail, and her right hand to the workman’s hammer, and she struck Sisara, seeking in his head a place for the wound, and strongly piercing through his temples.
26Hlingcong te a kut neh a thueng tih a bantang lamloh thakthaekung kah thilung neh, Sisera te a hen. Te dongah a lu te pop. Te vaengah a phop tih a baengpae la pawlh.
27At her feet he fell: he fainted, and he died: he rolled before her feet, and he lay lifeless and wretched.
27A kho ah a sop uh doela cungku tih yalh. A kho laklo ah sop uh tih, a yalh vaengah a sop nah hmuen ah, cungku tih pahoi rhoelrhak sut.
28His mother looked out at a window, and howled: and she spoke from the dining room: Why is his chariot so long in coming back? Why are the feet of his horses so slow?
28Bangbuet long a dan vaengah thohhuel ah Sisera manu te rhap, “Ba aih lae anih kah leng tah ha pawk ham a uelh? Ba aih lae anih kah leng tah khokan a hnong.
29One that was wiser than the rest of his wives, returned this answer to her mother in law:
29A boeinu hlangcueih rhoek te a doo tih, a ol pataeng a thuung pah.
30Perhaps he is now dividing the spoils, and the fairest of the women is chosen out for him: garments of divers colours are given to Sisara for his prey, and furniture of different kinds is heaped together to adorn the necks.
30Hula te kutbuem la a tael uh khaw hmu uh pawt nim? tongpa a lu ham tah hula a bok la, Sisera ham amah kutbuem la, himbaitnim, amhmo rhaekva, amhmo kutbuem, kutbuem rhawn kah rhaekva khaw om.
31So let all thy enemies perish, O Lord: but let them that love thee shine, as the sun shineth in his rising.
31Na thunkha rhoek loh boeih milh saeh BOEIPA. Tedae a thayung thamal neh khomik aka thoeng bangla a lungnah. Te dongah khohmuen loh kum sawmli khuiah mong.
32And the land rested for forty years.
