Bible Mutal (Kosraean)
1These are the nations which the Lord left, that by them he might instruct Israel, and all that had not known the wars of the Chanaanites:
1Ke ma inge LEUM GOD El fuhlela tuh kutu mutunfacl in mutana in facl sac in srike mwet Israel su tia wi pulakin mweun in acn Canaan.
2That afterwards their children might learn to fight with their enemies, and to be trained up to war:
2El oru ouinge ke sripa sefanna, in luti kais sie fwil lun mwet Israel ke ouiyen mweun, ac yokna nu selos su soenna wi mweun.
3The five princes of the Philistines, and all the Chanaanites, and the Sidonians, and the Hevites that dwelt in mount Libanus, from mount Baal Hermon to the entering into Emath.
3Mwet lula in acn we pa leum limekosr lun mwet Philistia, oayapa mwet Canaan ac mwet Sidon ac mwet Hiv su muta fineol uh in acn Lebanon, liki Fineol Baal Hermon lac nwe ke Innek In Utyak Nu Hamath.
4And he left them, that he might try Israel by them, whether they would hear the commandments of the Lord, which he had commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses, or not.
4Ma inge orek nu sin mwet Israel in srikalos lah elos ac akos ma LEUM GOD El tuh sapkin nu sin mwet matu lalos ah, in pacl lal Moses.
5So the children of Israel dwelt in the midst of the Chanaanite, and the Hethite, and the Amorrhite, and the Pherezite, and the Hevite, and the Jebusite:
5Na mwet Israel elos oakwuki muta inmasrlon mwet Canaan, mwet Hit, mwet Amor, mwet Hiv, mwet Periz, ac mwet Jebus.
6And they took their daughters to wives, and they gave their own daughters to their sons, and they served their gods.
6Mwet Israel elos payuk nu sin mwet inge ac alu nu sin god lalos.
7And they did evil in the sight of the Lord, and they forgot their God, and served Baalim and Astaroth.
7Mwet Israel elos mulkunla LEUM GOD lalos. Elos orekma koluk ye mutal ac alu nu ke ma sruloala lal Baal ac Asherah.
8And the Lord being angry with Israel, delivered them into the hands of Chusan Rasathaim king of Mesopotamia, and they served him eight years.
8Ke ma inge, LEUM GOD El mutawauk in kasrkusrak sin mwet Israel, ac El lela tuh Tokosra Cushan Rishathaim lun acn Mesopotamia elan kutangulosla. Mwet Israel elos orekma nu sel yac oalkosr.
9And they cried to the Lord, who raised them up a saviour, and delivered them, to wit, Othoniel the son of Cenez, the younger brother of Caleb:
9Na mwet Israel elos wowoyak nu sin LEUM GOD , ac el supwala sie mwet in aksukosokyalos. Mwet se inge pa Othniel wen natul Kenaz, su tamulel srik lal Caleb.
10And the spirit of the Lord was in him, and he judged Israel. And he went out to fight, and the Lord delivered into his hands Chusan Rasathaim king of Syria, and he overthrew him.
10Ngun lun LEUM GOD tuku nu fin mwet se inge, ac el mutawauk in kol mwet Israel. Ke Othniel el som mweun, LEUM GOD El sang kutangla nu sel fin tokosra lun mwet Mesopotamia.
11And the land rested forty years, and Othoniel the son of Cenez died.
11Oasr misla in facl Israel ke lusen yac angngaul, na Othniel el misa.
12And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the Lord: who strengthened against them Eglon king of Moab: because they did evil in his sight.
12Mwet Israel elos sifilpa orekma koluk ye mutun LEUM GOD . Ke sripa se inge, LEUM GOD El oru tuh Tokosra Eglon lun Moab in ku liki mwet Israel.
13And he joined to him the children of Ammon, and Amalec: and he went and overthrew Israel, and possessed the city of palm trees.
13Tokosra Eglon el wi mwet Ammon ac mwet Amalek lain mwet Israel ac kutangulosla. Elos sruokya acn Jericho, su siti in sak palm.
14And the children of Israel served Eglon king of Moab eighteen years:
14Mwet Israel elos orekma nu sel Tokosra Eglon yac singoul oalkosr.
15And afterwards they cried to the Lord, who raised them up a saviour called Aod, the son of Gera, the son of Jemini, who used the left hand as well as the right. And the children of Israel sent presents to Eglon king of Moab by him.
15Na mwet Israel elos sifil wowoyak nu sin LEUM GOD , na El sifil supwala mwet se in molelosla. Mwet se inge pa Ehud, sie mwet lasa, wen natul Gera ke sruf lal Benjamin. Mwet Israel elos supwalla Ehud nu yorol Tokosra Eglon lun Moab, wi mwe takma nu sel.
16And he made himself a two-edged sword, with a haft in the midst of the length of the palm of the hand, and was girded therewith under his garment on the right thigh.
16Ehud el tuh sifacna orala cutlass se natul, fit se tafu lusa ac kosroh lac lac, ac el losya fin pupal layen layot ye nuknuk lal uh.
17And he presented the gifts to Eglon king of Moab. Now Eglon was exceeding fat.
17Na el us mwe takma ac som nu yorol Tokosra Eglon, su sie mwet na fact.
18And when he had presented the gifts unto him, he followed his companions that came along with him.
18Ke Ehud el sang mwe takma nu sel Tokosra Eglon tari, na el fahk nu sin mwet ma us ma inge ah in folokla nu acn selos.
19Then returning from Galgal, where the idols were, be said to the king: I have a secret message to thee, O king. And he commanded silence: and all being gone out that were about him,
20Aod went in to him: now he was sitting in a summer parlour alone, and he said: I have a word from God to thee. And he forthwith rose up from his throne,
20Ke tokosra sac mukena muta ke infukil oyohu se fin lohm sel ah, Ehud el kalukyang nu yorol ac fahk, “Oasr kas sin God me yuruk in fahk nu sum.” Na tokosra el tuyak.
21And Aod put forth his left hand, and took the dagger from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly,
21Ehud el faisak cutlass natul ah ke lac paol lasa liki pupal layot, ac kaskeang nu insien tokosra.
22With such force that the haft went in after the blade into the wound, and was closed up with the abundance of fat. So that he did not draw out the dagger, but left it in his body as he had struck it in. And forthwith by the secret parts of nature the excrements of the belly came out.
22Cutlass sac wi fung ah tilyang nu insial tokosra, ac kiris uh nokomla nufon. Ehud el tiana faesla cutlass sac lukel, ac mutun cutlass sac sasla fonohl.
23But Aod carefully shutting the doors of the parlour and locking them,
23Na Ehud el tufokla nu lik ac kaliya srungul uh ac lakiya,
24Went out by a postern door. And the king’s servants going in, saw the doors of the parlour shut, and they said: Perhaps he is easing nature in his summer parlour.
24na el som. Ke mwet kulansap elos tuku ac liye tuh srungul uh kaul ac lak, elos nunku mu tokosra el oasr na in lohm fahsr ah.
25And waiting a long time till they were ashamed, and seeing that no man opened the door, they took a key: and opening, they found their lord lying dead on the ground.
25Mwet inge mutana soano nwe arulana pahtlac. Na ke tokosra sac tiana ikasla srungul uh, elos use key uh sang ikasla, ac elos liye tuh leum lalos el misa oan fin falful uh.
26But Aod, while they were in confusion, escaped, and passed by the place of the idols, from whence he had returned. And he came to Seirath:
26Ehud el kaingla ke pacl se mwet inge srakna muta soano in ikakla. El som alukela eot tufahlla ekasr ah, ac kaingla nu Seirah.
27And forthwith he sounded the trumpet in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel went down with him, he himself going in the front.
27Ke el sun fineol uh in facl Ephraim, el ukya mwe ukuk in pangoneni mwet Israel nu ke mweun. El kololos ac tufoki fineol uh me.
28And he said to them: Follow me: for the Lord hath delivered our enemies the Moabites into our hands. And they went down after him, and seized upon the fords of the Jordan, which are in the way to Moab: and they suffered no man to pass over.
28El fahk nu selos, “Fahsr tukuk! LEUM GOD El sot kutangla nu suwos fin mwet lokoalok lowos, mwet Moab.” Na elos tufoki ac fahsr tokol Ehud, ac elos sruokya acn se ma mwet Moab elos muta we ac akola in tupalla Infacl Jordan. Elos tia lela siefanna mwet in alukela infacl ah.
29But they slew of the Moabites at that time, about ten thousand, all strong and Valiant men: none of them could escape.
29Pisen mwet elos uniya ke len sac sun akuran singoul tausin mwet mweun su ku emeet lun mwet Moab. Wangin sie selos kaingla.
30And Moab was humbled that day under the hand of Israel: and the land rested eighty years.
30In len sac mwet Israel kutangla mwet Moab, ac oasr misla in facl Israel ke lusen yac oalngoul.
31After him was Samgar the son of Anath, who slew of the Philistines six hundred men with a ploughshare: and he also defended Israel.
31Mwet kol se tok an pa Shamgar, wen natul Anath. El wi pac molela mwet Israel, ke el sang sak kosroh muta soko mwe lillil kosro ox, ac uniya mwet Philistia onfoko.
