1And when the kingdom of Roboam was strengthened and fortified, he forsook the law of the Lord, and all Israel with him.
1Кынд с-а ынтэрит Робоам ын домние ши а кэпэтат путере, а пэрэсит Леӂя Домнулуй, ши тот Исраелул а пэрэсит-о ымпреунэ ку ел.
2And in the fifth year of the reign of Roboam, Sesac king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem (because they had sinned against the Lord)
2Ын ал чинчиля ан ал домнией луй Робоам, Шишак, ымпэратул Еӂиптулуй, с-а суит ымпотрива Иерусалимулуй, пентру кэ пэкэтуисерэ ымпотрива Домнулуй.
3With twelve hundred chariots and threescore thousand horsemen: and the people were without number that came with him out of Egypt, to wit, Libyans, and Troglodites, and Ethiopians.
3Авя о мие доуэ суте де каре ши шайзечь де мий де кэлэрець ши, ымпреунэ ку ел, а венит дин Еӂипт ун попор фэрэ нумэр, динтре либиень, сукиень ши етиопень.
4And he took the strongest cities in Juda, and came to Jerusalem.
4А луат четэциле ынтэрите але луй Иуда ши а ажунс пынэ ла Иерусалим.
5And Semeias the prophet came to Roboam, and to the princes of Juda, that were gathered together in Jerusalem, fleeing from Sesac, and he said to them: Thus saith the Lord: You have left me, and I have left you in the hand of Sesac.
5Атунч, пророкул Шемая с-а дус ла Робоам ши ла кэпетенииле луй Иуда, каре се адунасерэ ын Иерусалим ла апропиеря луй Шишак, ши ле-а зис: „Аша ворбеште Домнул: ‘Вой М-аць пэрэсит; вэ пэрэсеск ши Еу ши вэ дау ын мыниле луй Шишак.’”
6And the princes of Israel, and the king, being in a consternation, said: The Lord is just.
6Кэпетенииле луй Исраел ши ымпэратул с-ау смерит ши ау зис: „Домнул есте дрепт!”
7And when the Lord saw that they were humbled, the word of the Lord came to Semeias, saying: Because they are humbled, I will not destroy them, and I will give them a little help, and my wrath shall not fall upon Jerusalem by the hand of Sesac.
7Ши, дакэ а вэзут Домнул кэ с-ау смерит, кувынтул Домнулуй а ворбит астфел луй Шемая: „С-ау смерит, ну-й вой нимичи, ну вой зэбови сэ ле вин ын ажутор ши мыния Мя ну ва вени асупра Иерусалимулуй прин Шишак,
8But yet they shall serve him, that they may know the difference between my service, and the service of a kingdom of the earth.
8дар ый вор фи супушь ши вор шти че ынсямнэ сэ-Мь служяскэ Мие сау сэ служяскэ ымпэрэциилор алтор цэрь.”
9So Sesac king of Egypt departed from Jerusalem, taking away the treasures of the house of the Lord, and of the king’s house, and he took all with him, and the golden shields that Solomon had made,
9Шишак, ымпэратул Еӂиптулуй, с-а суит ымпотрива Иерусалимулуй. А луат вистиерииле Касей Домнулуй ши вистиерииле касей ымпэратулуй, а луат тот. А луат скутуриле де аур пе каре ле фэкусе Соломон.
10Instead of which the king made brazen ones, and delivered them to the captains of the shieldbearers, who guarded the entrance of the palace.
10Ымпэратул Робоам а фэкут ын локул лор ниште скутурь де арамэ ши ле-а дат ын грижа кэпетениилор алергэторилор, каре пэзяу интраря касей ымпэратулуй.
11And when the king entered into the house of the Lord, the shieldbearers came and took them, and brought them back again to their armoury.
11Орь де кыте орь се дучя ымпэратул ла Каса Домнулуй, алергэторий веняу ши ле пуртау ынаинтя луй, апой ле адучяу ярэшь ын одая алергэторилор.
12But yet because they were humbled, the wrath of the Lord turned away from them, and they were not utterly destroyed: for even in Juda there were found good works.
12Пентру кэ Робоам се смерисе, Домнул Шь-а абэтут мыния де ла ел ши ну л-а нимичит де тот. Ши тот май ера чева бун ын Иуда.
13King Roboam therefore was strengthened in Jerusalem, and reigned: he was one and forty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the Lord chose out of all the tribes of Israel, to establish his name there: and the name of his mother was Naama an Ammonitess.
13Ымпэратул Робоам с-а ынтэрит ын Иерусалим ши а домнит. Авя патрузечь ши уну де ань кынд а ажунс ымпэрат ши а домнит шаптеспрезече ань ла Иерусалим, четатя пе каре о алесесе Домнул дин тоате семинцииле луй Исраел ка сэ-Шь пунэ Нумеле ын еа. Мама са се нумя Наама, Амонита.
14But he did evil, and did not prepare his heart to seek the Lord.
14Ел а фэкут лукрурь реле, пентру кэ ну шь-а пус инима сэ кауте пе Домнул.
15Now the acts of Roboam first and last are written in the books of Semeias the prophet, and of Addo the seer, and diligently recorded: and there was war between Roboam and Jeroboam all their days.
15Фаптеле луй Робоам, челе динтый ши челе де пе урмэ, ну сунт скрисе оаре ын картя пророкулуй Шемая ши а пророкулуй Идо, ын кэрциле спицелор де ням? Тотдяуна а фост рэзбой ынтре Робоам ши Иеробоам.
16And Roboam slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David. And Abia his son reigned in his stead.
