1Tedy povstal Eliasib, kněz nejvyšší, a příbuzní jeho kněží, a stavěli bránu bravnou, (tiť jsou ji vystavěli, a zavěsili vrata její, až k věži Mea vystavěli ji), až k věži Chananeel.
1Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of Hammeah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananel.
2A podlé něho stavěli muži Jerecha, též podlé něho stavěl Zakur syn Imrův.
2And next unto him builded the men of Jericho. And next to them builded Zaccur the son of Imri.
3Bránu pak rybnou stavěli synové Senaa. Ti položili trámy její, a vstavili vrata její s zámky i závorami jejími.
3And the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the bolts thereof, and the bars thereof.
4Podlé těch také opravoval Meremot syn Uriáše, syna Kózova, a podlé nich opravoval Mesullam syn Berechiáše, syna Mesezabelova, a podlé těch opravoval Sádoch syn Baanův.
4And next unto them repaired Meremoth the son of Uriah, the son of Hakkoz. And next unto them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabel. And next unto them repaired Zadok the son of Baana.
5A podlé nich opravovali Tekoitští. Ale ti, kteříž byli znamenitější z nich, nepodklonili šíje své k dílu pána svého.
5And next unto them the Tekoites repaired; and their nobles put not their necks to the work of their lord.
6Bránu pak starou opravovali Joiada syn Paseachův, a Mesullam syn Besodiášův. Ti položili trámy její a vstavili vrata její s zámky a závorami jejími.
6And the gate of the old city repaired Joiada the son of Paseah and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the bolts thereof, and the bars thereof.
7Podlé nich opravoval Melatiáš Gabaonitský, a Jádon Meronotský, muži z Gabaon a z Masfa, až k stolici knížecí z této strany řeky.
7And next unto them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, for them that appertained to the throne of the governor beyond the River.
8Podlé nich pak opravoval Uziel syn Charhaiášův s zlatníky, a podlé něho opravoval Chananiáš, syn apatekářův. A nechali Jeruzaléma až do zdi široké.
8Next unto him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, goldsmiths. And next unto him repaired Hananiah one of the perfumers, and they restored Jerusalem even unto the broad wall.
9Dále podlé nich opravoval Refaiáš syn Churův, hejtman nad polovicí kraje Jeruzalémského.
9And next unto them repaired Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of half the district of Jerusalem.
10A podlé nich opravoval Jedaiáš Charumafův proti domu svému. Podlé něhož opravoval Chattus syn Chasabneiášův.
10And next unto them repaired Jedaiah the son of Harumaph, even over against his house. And next unto him repaired Hattush the son of Hashabneiah.
11Druhý pak díl opravoval Malkiáš syn Charimův, a Chasub syn Pachat Moábův, a věži Tannurim.
11Malchijah the son of Harim, and Hasshub the son of Pahath-moab, repaired another portion, and the tower of the furnaces.
12Podlé něhož opravoval Sallum syn Lochesův, hejtman nad polovicí kraje Jeruzalémského, se dcerami svými.
12And next unto him repaired Shallum the son of Hallohesh, the ruler of half the district of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.
13Bránu při údolí opravil Chanun s obyvateli Zanoe. Oni ji stavěli, a vstavili vrata její s zámky i závorami jejími, a zdi na tisíc loket až do brány hnojné.
13The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the bolts thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits of the wall unto the dung gate.
14Bránu pak hnojnou opravil Malkiáš syn Rechabův, hejtman kraje Betkarem. On ji ustavěl, a vstavil vrata s zámky i závorami jejími.
14And the dung gate repaired Malchijah the son of Rechab, the ruler of the district of Beth-cherem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the bolts thereof, and the bars thereof.
15Bránu pak studnice opravoval Sallun syn Kolchozův, hejtman kraje Masfa. On ji vystavěl a přikryl ji, a vstavil vrata její s zámky i závorami jejími, a zed rybníka Selach, od zahrady královské až k stupňům sstoupajícím z města Davidova.
15And the fountain gate repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of the district of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the bolts thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Shelah by the king's garden, even unto the stairs that go down from the city of David.
16Za ním opravoval Nehemiáš syn Azbukův, hejtman nad polovici kraje Betsur, až naproti hrobům Davidovým, a až k rybníku udělanému, až k domu silných.
16After him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of half the district of Beth-zur, unto the place over against the sepulchres of David, and unto the pool that was made, and unto the house of the mighty men.
17Za ním opravovali Levítové, Rechum syn Báni, podlé něhož opravoval Chasabiáš, hejtman nad polovicí kraje Ceily s krajem svým.
17After him repaired the Levites, Rehum the son of Bani. Next unto him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of half the district of Keilah, for his district.
18Za ním opravovali bratří jejich, Bavai syn Chenadadův, hejtman nad polovicí kraje Ceily.
18After him repaired their brethren, Bavvai the son of Henadad, the ruler of half the district of Keilah.
19Podlé něho pak opravoval Ezer syn Jesua, hejtman Masfa, díl druhý naproti, kudyž se chodí k skladu zbroje Mikzoa.
19And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another portion, over against the ascent to the armoury at the Turning.
20Za ním rozhorliv se, opravoval Báruch syn Zabbai, díl druhý od Mikzoa až ke dveřům domu Eliasiba, kněze nejvyššího.
20After him Baruch the son of Zaccai earnestly repaired another portion, from the Turning unto the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.
21Za ním opravoval Meremot syn Uriáše, syna Kózi, díl druhý ode dveří domu Eliasibova až do konce domu jeho.
21After him repaired Meremoth the son of Uriah the son of Hakkoz another portion, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib.
22Za ním opravovali kněží, kteříž bydlili v rovině.
22And after him repaired the priests, the men of the Plain.
23Za ním opravoval Beniamin a Chasub proti domům svým. Za ním opravoval Azariáš syn Maaseiáše, syna Ananiášova vedlé domu svého.
23After them repaired Benjamin and Hasshub over against their house. After them repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah beside his own house.
24Za ním opravoval Binnui syn Chenadadův díl druhý, od domu Azariášova až do Mikzoa a až k úhlu.
24After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another portion, from the house of Azariah unto the Turning and unto the corner.
25Pálal syn Uzai proti Mikzoa a věži vysoké, kteráž vyhlédala z domu králova, jenž byla v placu u žaláře. Za ním Pedaiáš syn Farosův.
25Palal the son of Uzai repaired over against the Turning, and the tower that standeth out from the upper house of the king, which is by the court of the guard. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh repaired. —
26Netinejští pak, jenž bydlili v Ofel, až naproti bráně vodné k východu, a věži vysoké.
26Now the Nethinim dwelt in Ophel, unto the place over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that standeth out. —
27Za ním opravovali Tekoitští díl druhý, naproti věži veliké a vysoké, až ke zdi při Ofel.
27After him the Tekoites repaired another portion, over against the great tower that standeth out, and unto the wall of Ophel.
28Od brány koňské opravovali kněží, jeden každý naproti domu svému.
28Above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his own house.
29Za tím opravoval Sádoch syn Immerův naproti domu svému. Za ním pak opravoval Semaiáš syn Sechaniášův, strážný brány východní.
29After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over against his own house. And after him repaired Shemaiah the son of Shecaniah, the keeper of the east gate.
30Za ním opravoval Chananiáš syn Selemiášův, a Chanun syn Zalafův šestý, díl druhý. Za ním opravoval Mesullam syn Berechiášův proti pokoji svému.
30After him repaired Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, another portion. After him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah over against his chamber.
31Za ním opravoval Malkiáš syn zlatníkův až k domu Netinejských a kupců, naproti bráně Mifkad, až do paláce úhlového.
31After him repaired Malchijah one of the goldsmiths unto the house of the Nethinim, and of the merchants, over against the gate of Hammiphkad, and to the upper chamber of the corner.
32A mezi palácem úhlovým až do brány bravné opravovali zlatníci a kupci.
32And between the upper chamber of the corner and the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.
