1Nangcae salakah nongpa nongpata zae sakhaih oh ti, tiah amthang, to baktih zaehaih loe Gentelnawk thungah mataeng doeh om vai ai, kami maeto mah ampa ih zu iih haih ti, tiah thuih o.
1It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife.
2Palungsethaih hoiah kho na sak o han oh to mah, nangcae mah loe nam oek o haih lat, to baktih hmuen sah kami loe nangcae salak hoi pathok han oh.
2And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
3Takpum ah kai loe nangcae hoi ahmuen kangthla ah ka oh, toe palung loe nangcae khaeah ni oh, to tiah nangcae khae ka oh baktiah, hae kahoih ai hmuen sah kami to lok ka caek boeh.
3For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
4Aicae Angraeng Jesu Kri ih ahmin hoiah nawnto nangcuu o moe, aicae Angraeng Jesu Kri thacakhaih hoiah nawn to nam khueng o naah, ka poekhaih palungthin doeh nangcae hoi nawnto om toeng tih,
4In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5Angraeng Jesu ih niah, to kami ih taksa to amrosak moe, anih ih pakhra to pahlong thaih hanah, to baktih kami to Setan khaeah paek han oh.
5To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
6Nangcae amoekhaih loe kahoih hmuen na ai ni. Taeh tetta mah takaw anguengsak boih, tito na panoek o ai maw?
6Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
7Nangcae loe taeh thuh ai ih takaw ah na oh o baktih toengah, takaw kangtha ah na oh o thai hanah, taeh kangquem to va oh. Tipongah tih nahaeloe aicae misong hoi loihhaih tuuca, Kri loe aicae hanah lu vah boeh.
7Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
8To pongah taeh kangquem, poek sethaih taeh, katoeng ai poekhaih taeh hoiah poih to sah ai ah, taeh thuh ai ih takaw, ciimcai loktang takaw hoiah poih to sah o si.
8Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9Nongpa nongpata zaehaih sah kaminawk hoi angkom han ai ah ca tarik moe, kang pat o boeh.
9I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
10Hae long nuiah nongpa nongpata zaehaih sah kami maw, kamthlai koeh hmoek kami maw, minawk ih hmuenmae lomh kami maw, to tih ai boeh loe krang bok kaminawk hoiah maw angkom han ai ah, hae long hae na tacawt o taak han angaih, tiah thuih koehhaih ih na ai ni.
10Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
11Vaihi nawkamya, tiah na kawk o ih, nongpa nongpata zaehaih sah kami maw, kamthlai koeh hmoek kami maw, krang bok kami maw, minawk kasae thuih koeh kami maw, mu paquih kami maw, to tih ai boeh loe minawk ih hmuenmae lomh kami hoiah angkom han ai ih ni ca kang tarik o; to baktih kami hoiah loe buh doeh nawnto caa o hmah.
11But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12Tasa bang ih kaminawk lokcaek hanah kai hoi asaenghaih timaw oh? Abu thungah kaom kaminawk to loe lok na caek o mak ai maw?
12For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13Toe tasa bang kaminawk loe Sithaw mah lokcaek tih. To pongah kahoih ai to kami to nangcae thung hoi pathok oh.
13But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
