1This is the word that the LORD spoke through Jeremiah the prophet concerning Babylon and the land of the Chaldeans:
1耶和华借先知 耶利米 论 巴比伦 和 迦勒底 人之地所说的话。
2“Announce and declare to the nations; lift up a banner and proclaim it; hold nothing back when you say, ‘Babylon is captured; Bel is put to shame; Marduk is shattered, her images are disgraced, her idols are broken in pieces.’
2你们要在万国中传扬报告， 竖立大旗； 要报告，不可隐瞒，说： 巴比伦 被攻取， 彼勒 蒙羞， 米罗达 惊惶。 巴比伦 的神像都蒙羞； 她的偶像都惊惶。
3For a nation from the north will come against her; it will make her land a desolation. No one will live in it; both man and beast will flee.”
3「因有一国从北方上来攻击她，使她的地荒凉，无人居住，连人带牲畜都逃走了。」
4“In those days and at that time, declares the LORD, the children of Israel and the children of Judah will come together, weeping as they come, and will seek the LORD their God.
4耶和华说：「当那日子、那时候， 以色列 人要和 犹大 人同来，随走随哭，寻求耶和华—他们的 神。
5They will ask the way to Zion and turn their faces toward it. They will come and join themselves to the LORD in an everlasting covenant that will never be forgotten.
5他们必访问 锡安 ，又面向这里， 说 ：『来吧，你们要与耶和华联合为永远不忘的约。』
6My people are lost sheep; their shepherds have led them astray, causing them to roam the mountains. They have wandered from mountain to hill; they have forgotten their resting place.
6「我的百姓作了迷失的羊，牧人使他们走差路，使他们转到山上。他们从大山走到小山，竟忘了安歇之处。
7All who found them devoured them, and their enemies said, ‘We are not guilty, for they have sinned against the LORD, their true pasture, the LORD, the hope of their fathers.’
7凡遇见他们的，就把他们吞灭。敌人说：『我们没有罪；因他们得罪那作公义居所的耶和华，就是他们列祖所仰望的耶和华。』
8Flee from the midst of Babylon; depart from the land of the Chaldeans; be like the he-goats that lead the flock.
8「我 民哪 ，你们要从 巴比伦 中逃走，从 迦勒底 人之地出去，要像羊群前面走的公山羊。
9For behold, I stir up and bring against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the land of the north. They will line up against her; from the north she will be captured. Their arrows will be like skilled warriors who do not return empty-handed.
9因我必激动联合的大国从北方上来攻击 巴比伦 ，他们要摆阵攻击她；她必从那里被攻取。他们的箭好像善射之勇士的箭，一枝也不徒然返回。
10Chaldea will be plundered; all who plunder her will have their fill,” declares the LORD.
10迦勒底 必成为掠物；凡掳掠她的都必心满意足。这是耶和华说的。」
11“Because you rejoice, because you sing in triumph— you who plunder My inheritance— because you frolic like a heifer treading grain and neigh like stallions,
11抢夺我产业的啊， 你们因欢喜快乐， 且像踹 谷 撒欢的母牛犊， 又像发嘶声的壮马。
12your mother will be greatly ashamed; she who bore you will be disgraced. Behold, she will be the least of the nations, a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.
12你们的母 巴比伦 就极其抱愧， 生你们的必然蒙羞。 她要列在诸国之末， 成为旷野、旱地、沙漠。
13Because of the wrath of the LORD, she will not be inhabited; she will become completely desolate. All who pass through Babylon will be horrified and will hiss at all her wounds.
13因耶和华的忿怒，必无人居住， 要全然荒凉。 凡经过 巴比伦 的要受惊骇， 又因她所遭的灾殃嗤笑。
14Line up in formation around Babylon, all you who draw the bow! Shoot at her! Spare no arrows! For she has sinned against the LORD.
14所有拉弓的，你们要在 巴比伦 的四围摆阵， 射箭攻击她。 不要爱惜箭枝， 因她得罪了耶和华。
15Raise a war cry against her on every side! She has thrown up her hands in surrender; her towers have fallen; her walls are torn down. Since this is the vengeance of the LORD, take out your vengeance upon her; as she has done, do the same to her.
15你们要在她四围呐喊； 她已经投降。 外郭坍塌了， 城墙拆毁了， 因为这是耶和华报仇的事。 你们要向 巴比伦 报仇； 她怎样待人，也要怎样待她。
16Cut off the sower from Babylon, and the one who wields the sickle at harvest time. In the face of the oppressor’s sword, each will turn to his own people, each will flee to his own land.
16你们要将 巴比伦 撒种的 和收割时拿镰刀的都剪除了。 他们各人因怕欺压的刀剑， 必归回本族，逃到本土。
17Israel is a scattered flock, chased away by lions. The first to devour him was the king of Assyria; the last to crush his bones was Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.”
17「 以色列 是打散的羊，是被狮子赶出的。首先是 亚述 王将他吞灭，末后是 巴比伦 王 尼布甲尼撒 将他的骨头折断。」
18Therefore this is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: “I will punish the king of Babylon and his land as I punished the king of Assyria.
18所以万军之耶和华— 以色列 的 神如此说：「我必罚 巴比伦 王和他的地，像我从前罚 亚述 王一样。
19I will return Israel to his pasture, and he will graze on Carmel and Bashan; his soul will be satisfied on the hills of Ephraim and Gilead.
19我必再领 以色列 回他的草场，他必在 迦密 和 巴珊 吃草，又在 以法莲 山上和 基列 境内得以饱足。」
20In those days and at that time, declares the LORD, a search will be made for Israel’s guilt, but there will be none, and for Judah’s sins, but they will not be found; for I will forgive the remnant I preserve.
20耶和华说：「当那日子、那时候，虽寻 以色列 的罪孽，一无所有；虽寻 犹大 的罪恶，也无所见；因为我所留下的人，我必赦免。」
21Go up against the land of Merathaim, and against the residents of Pekod. Kill them and devote them to destruction. Do all that I have commanded you,” declares the LORD.
21耶和华说：上去攻击 米拉大翁 之地， 又攻击 比割 的居民。 要追杀灭尽， 照我一切所吩咐你的去行。
22“The noise of battle is in the land— the noise of great destruction.
22境内有打仗和大毁灭的响声。
23How the hammer of the whole earth lies broken and shattered! What a horror Babylon has become among the nations!
23全地的大锤何竟砍断破坏？ 巴比伦 在列国中何竟荒凉？
24I laid a snare for you, O Babylon, and you were caught before you knew it. You were found and captured because you challenged the LORD.
24巴比伦 哪，我为你设下网罗， 你不知不觉被缠住。 你被寻着，也被捉住； 因为你与耶和华争竞。
25The LORD has opened His armory and brought out His weapons of wrath, for this is the work of the Lord GOD of Hosts in the land of the Chaldeans.
25耶和华已经开了武库， 拿出他恼恨的兵器； 因为主—万军之耶和华 在 迦勒底 人之地有 当做的事 。
26Come against her from the farthest border. Break open her granaries; pile her up like mounds of grain. Devote her to destruction; leave her no survivors.
26你们要从极远的边界来攻击她， 开她的仓廪， 将她堆如高堆， 毁灭净尽，丝毫不留。
27Kill all her young bulls; let them go down to the slaughter. Woe to them, for their day has come— the time of their punishment.
27要杀她的一切牛犊， 使他们下去遭遇杀戮。 他们有祸了， 因为追讨他们的日子已经来到。 （
28Listen to the fugitives and refugees from the land of Babylon, declaring in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, the vengeance for His temple.
28有从 巴比伦 之地逃避出来的人，在 锡安 扬声报告耶和华—我们的 神报仇，就是为他的殿报仇。）
29Summon the archers against Babylon, all who string the bow. Encamp all around her; let no one escape. Repay her according to her deeds; do to her as she has done. For she has defied the LORD, the Holy One of Israel.
29「招集一切弓箭手来攻击 巴比伦 。要在 巴比伦 四围安营，不要容一人逃脱，照着她所做的报应她；她怎样待人，也要怎样待她，因为她向耶和华— 以色列 的圣者发了狂傲。
30Therefore, her young men will fall in the streets, and all her warriors will be silenced in that day,” declares the LORD.
30所以她的少年人必仆倒在街上。当那日，一切兵丁必默默无声。这是耶和华说的。」
31“Behold, I am against you, O arrogant one,” declares the Lord GOD of Hosts, “for your day has come, the time when I will punish you.
31主—万军之耶和华说： 你这狂傲的啊，我与你反对， 因为我追讨你的日子已经来到。
32The arrogant one will stumble and fall with no one to pick him up. And I will kindle a fire in his cities to consume all those around him.”
32狂傲的必绊跌仆倒，无人扶起。 我也必使火在他的城邑中着起来， 将他四围所有的尽行烧灭。
33This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “The sons of Israel are oppressed, and the sons of Judah as well. All their captors hold them fast, refusing to release them.
33万军之耶和华如此说：「 以色列 人和 犹大 人一同受欺压；凡掳掠他们的都紧紧抓住他们，不肯释放。
34Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of Hosts is His name. He will fervently plead their case so that He may bring rest to the earth, but turmoil to those who live in Babylon.
34他们的救赎主大有能力，万军之耶和华是他的名。他必伸清他们的冤，好使全地得平安，并搅扰 巴比伦 的居民。」
35A sword is against the Chaldeans, declares the LORD, against those who live in Babylon, and against her officials and wise men.
35耶和华说：「 有刀剑临到 迦勒底 人和 巴比伦 的居民， 并她的首领与智慧人。
36A sword is against her false prophets, and they will become fools. A sword is against her warriors, and they will be filled with terror.
36有刀剑临到矜夸的人， 他们就成为愚昧； 有刀剑临到她的勇士， 他们就惊惶。
37A sword is against her horses and chariots and against all the foreigners in her midst, and they will become like women. A sword is against her treasuries, and they will be plundered.
37有刀剑临到她的马匹、车辆， 和其中杂族的人民； 他们必像妇女一样。 有刀剑临到她的宝物， 就被抢夺。
38A drought is upon her waters, and they will be dried up. For it is a land of graven images, and the people go mad over idols.
38有干旱临到她的众水， 就必干涸； 因为这是有雕刻偶像之地， 人因偶像而颠狂。
39So the desert creatures and hyenas will live there and ostriches will dwell there. It will never again be inhabited or lived in from generation to generation.
39所以旷野的走兽和豺狼必住在那里，鸵鸟也住在其中，永无人烟，世世代代无人居住。」
40As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah along with their neighbors,” declares the LORD, “no one will dwell there; no man will abide there.
40耶和华说：「必无人住在那里，也无人在其中寄居，要像我倾覆 所多玛 、 蛾摩拉 ，和邻近的城邑一样。
41Behold, an army is coming from the north; a great nation and many kings are stirred up from the ends of the earth.
41看哪，有一种民从北方而来， 并有一大国和许多君王被激动，从地极来到。
42They grasp the bow and spear; they are cruel and merciless. Their voice roars like the sea, and they ride upon horses, lined up like men in formation against you, O Daughter of Babylon.
42他们拿弓和枪， 性情残忍，不施怜悯； 他们的声音像海浪匉訇。 巴比伦 城啊， 他们骑马， 都摆队伍如上战场的人， 要攻击你。
43The king of Babylon has heard the report, and his hands hang limp. Anguish has gripped him, pain like that of a woman in labor.
43巴比伦 王听见他们的风声， 手就发软， 痛苦将他抓住， 疼痛仿佛产难的妇人。
44Behold, one will come up like a lion from the thickets of the Jordan to the watered pasture. For in an instant I will chase Babylon from her land. Who is the chosen one I will appoint for this? For who is like Me, and who can challenge Me? What shepherd can stand against Me?”
44「 仇敌 必像狮子从 约旦河 边的丛林上来，攻击坚固的居所。转眼之间，我要使他们逃跑，离开这地。谁蒙拣选，我就派谁治理这地。谁能比我呢？谁能给我定规日期呢？有何牧人能在我面前站立得住呢？
45Therefore hear the plans that the LORD has drawn up against Babylon and the strategies He has devised against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely the little ones of the flock will be dragged away; certainly their pasture will be made desolate because of them.
45你们要听耶和华攻击 巴比伦 所说的谋略和他攻击 迦勒底 人之地所定的旨意。仇敌定要将他们群众微弱的拉去，定要使他们的居所荒凉。
46At the sound of Babylon’s capture the earth will quake; a cry will be heard among the nations.
46因 巴比伦 被取的声音，地就震动，人在列邦都听见呼喊的声音。」
